Located 19 km due east of the famous historical village of Tenterfield the working, cattle breeding, property "Mindoo" has recently opened its gates to campers. Framed by the rugged border range National Parks "Mindoo" is 1100 acres of rolling green hills dissected by the pure, cascading, waters of the Cataract River which provide a number of private riverside campsites. Campers are encouraged to meander along the continually changing River and explore its many secluded swimming holes and enjoy the abundant wildlife that cohabitates with the Angus/Wagyu cow herd. Direct access to the neighbouring National Parks and State Forests offers an array of day trips to hikers, mountain bikers, or horse riders where they can discover the natural treasures of Basket Swamp and Boonoo Boonoo Falls, Woolool Woolooni, among others. For those who require a little more comfort, and lets face it we all do at times, the Mindoo Cabin is available. Featuring three bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen,and a shady deck overlooking the River the cabin sleeps eight and still allows visitors to partake in all the adventures that "Mindoo" offers with the benefit of a comfortable rest when the day is done. For those interested in exploring the park trails via horseback we can also provide secure lodgings for your horses, with quality hay available for purchase. Be as adventurous or as restfull as you please as both options are freely available. Mountain Biking, Hilking, Horse riding, or just riding your hammock and relaxing we are sure you will enjoy your time at "Mindoo" There is approximately 4km gravel road to get to the property. Mobile reception is patchy (telstra) you may need to get to the top of a hill for reception. Very little or no reception for other networks. This much-loved family-owned farm has a rich history, transitioning from a dairy farm to a beef property. Today, it flourishes with a bio-diverse planting of native trees and a bespoke joinery workshop crafting designer furniture. While Figtree Farm has been a camping destination for family and friends for many years and now we're happy to extend this welcome to Hipcampers too. As a starting point for this new venture at Findon Creek we offer 3 sites which are all suitable for larger groups; all situated on grassy open spaces beside the creek. In wet conditions you will need a 4WD to access these sites, though the flats themselves are not boggy. Explore the great outdoors by wandering along our extensive bush tracks and trying your hand at fishing in our farm dam stocked with silver perch. Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Kyogle is a 30 minute drive away. And there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Glendaryn, our property, is located 30 kms west of Kyogle and 2 hours from the Gold Coast. Featuring 35 acres consisting mainly of creek flats on the banks of Iron Pot Creek, a permanent creek which runs from nearby Toonumbar dam, this place is perfect to pitch a tent. The dam is only 2 km away and has a boat ramp. Iron Pot provides scenic camping spots with fishing (bass and cat fish), swimming, hiking, kayaking and there are bush roads nearby suitable for horse riding. This campsite welcomes self-contained campers with your own camping toilet/shower. Fresh drinking water is available at the shed as well as a firepit area however wood is not provided. Bring your horse and put up a yard or safe yards are available. Dogs are welcome as long as they are controlled and don’t chase our horses and the local wild life. There are a variety of camping sites near the creek and also one on the hill overlooking the flats. Creek side spots are dry weather only as the flat can become boggy or you can walk in around 200 metres from road. The property is 2WD accessible.

We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. Mountview is a very special place having been in the family for over 120 years. The working farm is 650 acres of grain cropping and also runs a productive Charolais beef cattle stud. A central stopover point an easy 15 minutes from Toowoomba city and only a few kilometers off the New England Highway. Explore the local area with so many attractions and places to discover including the Darling Downs Zoo, The Historical Bull & Barley Inn, quaint little country towns, sunflower fields, Glengallan homestead, hiking tracks and so much more. Enjoy wide open spaces with magnificent views. Watch stunning sunsets, toast marshmallows around the fire pit, watch the night sky for a dazzling display of stars, hike or say hello to the many Charolais cattle on the property. You will have access to the facilities at the Ironbark Barn which include a pool table, dart board, television, kitchen and bar area, and hot shower and toilets. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, BBQ, dish-washing station and rubbish/recycling facilities. Please note to hook up to power you will need a lead of at least 30 meters. 15 amp power is supplied. Power is allocated on a first in best dressed preference. If you desperately require power please advise at the time of your booking and all efforts will be made to hook you up to power. The geese are a little skittish about this. :) Our property is a stroll away from Aratula in the Scenic Rim. The hidden creek on our property is home to a host of native wildlife and fauna. Access to the campsites is a short distance off the Cunningham Highway gate entry. Preference is for 4WD vehicles and limited access by 2WD. Offroad RV length is limited to under 20ft. The type of vehicle and RV will dictate where your campsite would be located. Pets are welcome (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles) but must stay within the camp sites and be restrained by owners. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping amenities. These are off grid camp grounds with a picnic table, braziers and camp bin available for communal use. Firewood of various types can be found along the creek with the option to purchase firewood from our stock.

Located 19 km due east of the famous historical village of Tenterfield the working, cattle breeding, property "Mindoo" has recently opened its gates to campers. Framed by the rugged border range National Parks "Mindoo" is 1100 acres of rolling green hills dissected by the pure, cascading, waters of the Cataract River which provide a number of private riverside campsites. Campers are encouraged to meander along the continually changing River and explore its many secluded swimming holes and enjoy the abundant wildlife that cohabitates with the Angus/Wagyu cow herd. Direct access to the neighbouring National Parks and State Forests offers an array of day trips to hikers, mountain bikers, or horse riders where they can discover the natural treasures of Basket Swamp and Boonoo Boonoo Falls, Woolool Woolooni, among others. For those who require a little more comfort, and lets face it we all do at times, the Mindoo Cabin is available. Featuring three bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen,and a shady deck overlooking the River the cabin sleeps eight and still allows visitors to partake in all the adventures that "Mindoo" offers with the benefit of a comfortable rest when the day is done. For those interested in exploring the park trails via horseback we can also provide secure lodgings for your horses, with quality hay available for purchase. Be as adventurous or as restfull as you please as both options are freely available. Mountain Biking, Hilking, Horse riding, or just riding your hammock and relaxing we are sure you will enjoy your time at "Mindoo" There is approximately 4km gravel road to get to the property. Mobile reception is patchy (telstra) you may need to get to the top of a hill for reception. Very little or no reception for other networks. Our aim is for your visit to be private so are spacing our sites . From Easter will no longer have undesignated river sites, all river sites will be designated and spaced a part. Glendaryn Campgrounds

Glendaryn, our property, is located 30 kms west of Kyogle and 2 hours from the Gold Coast. Featuring 35 acres consisting mainly of creek flats on the banks of Iron Pot Creek, a permanent creek which runs from nearby Toonumbar dam, this place is perfect to pitch a tent. The dam is only 2 km away and has a boat ramp. Iron Pot provides scenic camping spots with fishing (bass and cat fish), swimming, hiking, kayaking and there are bush roads nearby suitable for horse riding. This campsite welcomes self-contained campers with your own camping toilet/shower. Fresh drinking water is available at the shed as well as a firepit area however wood is not provided. Bring your horse and put up a yard or safe yards are available. Dogs are welcome as long as they are controlled and don’t chase our horses and the local wild life. There are a variety of camping sites near the creek and also one on the hill overlooking the flats. Creek side spots are dry weather only as the flat can become boggy or you can walk in around 200 metres from road. The property is 2WD accessible.

They have no facilities apart from the site so you must be entirely self-sufficient. But all are single sites well away from others. We invite you to come and share our property, soak up the tranquility of our quiet valley and enjoy feeling at home in nature. And your dog is welcome too (under control please because we value our wildlife, and no more than 2 dogs per couple or family group)! The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state. It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge. And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. There is sometimes wood located at each campsite but the amount and quality is varied. Check in and out times are flexibility but please arrange time prior to arrival

As a starting point for this new venture at Findon Creek we offer 3 sites which are all suitable for larger groups; all situated on grassy open spaces beside the creek. In wet conditions you will need a 4WD to access these sites, though the flats themselves are not boggy. Explore the great outdoors by wandering along our extensive bush tracks and trying your hand at fishing in our farm dam stocked with silver perch. Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Kyogle is a 30 minute drive away. And there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. One booking covers 4 people (no matter how many set ups/caravans/tents you have) You can pick wherever in the paddock that you'd like to set up - there are no pre allocated spots and you will be able to pick a private spot. Take a stroll through the olive grove and set up a picnic amongst the trees! Olive View Estate is a stunning 35 acre 700 tree working olive farm and guest stay accommodation. We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We welcome small gatherings to celebrate birthdays, engagements or function (Christmas etc) just let us know during the booking process. We would appreciate quiet after 10pm. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Unfortunately Hipcamp won't remove these comments and we had no management of these customers. ALL other positive comments are through us direct.
