We highly recommend camping at Hutchy Hills! The owners are friendly and helpful. The campsites are spacious and surrounded by both open grasslands for playing and dense scrublands for a diverse range of activities. The swing and slippery slide are an added bonus. But we don’t recommend taking anything larger than a 16ft hybrid caravan as the track is steep and tight and we only just made it!

The area was really well maintained and there was enough space between sites that you still had plenty of privacy. Sites 1, 2 and 3 would be great for a group as there is a great communal fire pit, and plenty of area for the kids or pets to run around. The goats and the chickens at the entry to the property were very friendly and lots of fun for the kids. Not too far out of town if you need supplies or a cute cafe/ restaurant. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We will be back for sure!!

Ryan met us on arrival and explained the place to us. We had the place to ourselves on a Wednesday. Beautiful spot that is well maintained. Site 3 gets the sun in the morning where the others don't. It would be a great site for three families as it has a communal fire pit area, swing, slide/pool and large grassed paddock in the middle. Definitely need a 4x4 to get in/out. Great campsite!

We recently stayed at Hunchy Hills 4WD Bush camp and had such a great experience that we’re already booked our return trip! From the moment we arrived, the setting felt peaceful and inviting. Spacious plots, plenty of shade, and the added bonus of fire pits at each site made evenings by the campfire extra special. There’s nothing quite like roasting marshmallows under the stars! We loved being able to bring our dog along for the adventure — it really added to the experience. That said, a small word of advice to fellow pet owners: please be sure to clean up after your dogs. It’s such a beautiful, well-kept place, and keeping it clean helps ensure everyone can enjoy it equally. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or new to the outdoors, this campsite is a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Between the cozy fire pits, pet-friendly atmosphere, and peaceful surroundings, it really has everything you need for a memorable getaway. 5/5 – Highly recommend! Just don’t forget your marshmallows… and your poop bags. 😉

Dar'ali is a semi sustainable family-run farm on 30 acres in the Noosa hinterland only 5 minutes from the township of Eumundi and 20 minutes from Noosa Main Beach and world class surf breaks. DAM CAMP SITE 1 Our private campsite is a dry season site only (open May - October). It is a retreat away from the main house close to a spring fed dam with good access and level grassy areas. Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. Sites are allocated on weekends based on numbers, if you are in caravans or tents and if you are camping with children. Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Please note we do not have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient with your own toilet/shower set up and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.
