Public boat ramp is only 2.5km's from the property giving you access to the fish the nearby reefs and fraser island. There is a hose long enough to flush out your gear and give the boat a quick hose down when you finally decide to come back to land. Fraser island sealink ferry is only a 35 minutes drive away to make a day trip to one of the largest sand islands in the world. Hervey bay Wetside Water Park is also only a 20 minute drive away and is a perfect way to keep the kids happy and entertained. Swim with the turtles at Reef world Aquirium or go for a wander down the Urangan peer. FInish up the day with some dinner at the Hervey Bay boat club with a beer or wine in hand. beautiful place and a very comfortable stay in the glamping tent. the beach is nearby and it seems like a private one for guests only. many amenities available like a pool, laundry and even electric bikes! (although they are 15 aud per hour). however do note that theres a bbq grill but no stove in the house

The retreat cottage, surrounds and hosts are just fabulous Superb facilities, great fully equipped kitchen, indoor outdoor living, wonderful sunsets, crabbing fishing… I know there’s a huge flathead still out there…had it on the line just about in the boat😳 Had an awesome 4 days..Very cool place..5star!!!

Great location and only a short walk to the beach. Everything provided no need to pack extras as all linen, body wash, shampoo and even dog shampoo, all detergents washing powder bin liners are all provided including a dishwasher and a gas bbq with gas bottles. Pizza oven was a great addition. Would highly recommend

5 nights at Beach Shed

We had the best family holiday at the Beach Shed! Sarah and Grant have thought of everything here! It was so nice and private, amazing beach access, close to the boat ramp and set up perfectly for our large family! (The big outdoor table, bbq and festoon lights with the outdoor TV was our favourite space to hangout and play games and eat all the mud crabs we caught!) We did have a bit of a heatwave during our stay so we didn’t try out the pizza oven unfortunately, but we’ll be back for sure! Thanks Sarah and Grant for sharing your place! It’s pretty special!

1 night at JJJ'S Ranch Farm Stay,South Kolan Q

I love the awesome and loving welcome by host. Very beautiful cottage with all facilities properly organised. She happily came for a farm tour and explained in detail about all pet animals their names age and likings as well.
