It is a very quiet location with 5 dams and 2 that you can swim and Kayak in, the creek is also great to swim and kayak in , free roaming cattle to camp along side with lots of bird life to enjoy . We are only 15min North East of Gympie, 17min to Mary Valley Rattler train station, 32min to Mothar Mountain Rock Pools, 35min to Tin Can Bay, 50min to Rainbow Beach, 60min to the Sunshine Coast, Noosa. We have 7 different locations. ***Powered *** and non powered. 1 hill top location with 4 powered and 5 non powered sites. 4 non powered locations beside the creek with many camp sites to choose from. 2 non powered off road private locations, 4WD access only. ** No toilets or showers and can only be accessed in dry conditions, please contact us before booking these sites. Facilities. We have 3 toilets and a shower with warm water , our water is filtered, but not suitable for drinking, we advise you bring your own drinking water. Camp fires. **Weather permitting** NO BYO, But we do supply. $25 1st day (includes: fire pit, fire wood, fire starter and matches) $20 each day after everything included, All guests must take their waste with them on departure. Things to do nearby. There are many places that you can visit if you feel like a short drive within 15- 60min such as Breweries, Wineries, Beaches, Markets, Rock pools and the old famous Mary Rattler Steam Train. There is also many quite and beautiful small towns to visit, to just sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or have a glass of wine or beer or two. Pop in for a break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and have your own spot along the beautiful running creek and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of nature. Pets. 1 night at TerraLyra Sanctuary Retreat
A pleasant overnight stop while making our way south to Brisbane. Our stopover was on a Monday with very few people on site, so plenty of places to choose from for us and our van. A 4WD to access the secluded sites would be recommended as it might be tricky getting out if you had any rain as the trek out is relatively steep, grassy but steep. We camped next to the dam and went to sleep with the sound of frogs chatting which is quite soothing and made for a good night. The camp ground is far enough off the “Bruce Hwy” which made for a quiet night and no street lighting is a bonus as well. Highly recommend this place and we will be back again.

We loved our camp at sandy creek! Warren met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the camp grounds and advised the best place to set up, due to being very hot. We had the whole place to ourselves and the lake for a dip was incredible. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful, would definitely like to return.

Hidden Camp was our first ever hipcamp and it was amazing. Quiet, lots of friendly ducks, donkeys, horses, chickens. Callam and Leah were super friendly and kept asking if we needed anything. Being close to the Bruce Hwy it was well positioned with lots of trees for shade, a few dams and a creek. We will also be back for sure

My man and I loved tent camping along the water. The sunset views and starry nights were to die for. So peaceful and the ladies who run the stay were absolutely wonderful. While packing up my car wouldn't start so they came down and fixed my car. Dogs were so cute and my puppy had an amazing time swimming in the dam. As a young couple with a dog, this place was perfect.

For the adventurous campers who use swags/tents, we suggest a stretcher and a gazebo with walls for a little comfort. Some areas need 4wd also. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉 Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe. Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties. Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. Hidden Creek Farm QLD, A slice of nature26 Acres nestled on the banks of Myrtle creek where farm meets forest. Camp with us on our open grassy fields or amongst the trees. One vehicle with one camp set up permitted per site only. This is so we all have plenty of room and not camping in top of each other. There is plenty to see and enjoy. - Wind back with a couple of drinks at our picturesque creek Lookout. - Jump on a kayak and paddle through the rain forest. (Kayaks free to use) - Spot the local Fauna including Turtles, Echidnas, kangaroos, Mary River cod and the uncountable bird species. - Let the Kids burn off some energy at our playground. - 2 drop toilets one at each camp ground - hot shower at flynns camp. - moveable firepits available and one inbuilt one. Firewood bundles available for purchase Fires on the ground not permitted - Close boat ramps to the Mary River both fresh and salt water. - Courtesy bus for the Royal Hotel Tiaro available Fri - Sat you will need to call them to book.
