2 nights at Aloomba Lavender Farm

We loved camping at West View. The view was spectacular and the tent was super cozy. The hosts were super friendly and accomodating and supplied extra equipment. We will definitely be coming back!

Stunning views from the top of waterfalls. Greeted by chickens, peacocks and friendly dog. Drive in was challenging and definitely need 4WD vehicle and camper to access. A great place to detox.

2 nights at Farrup Bush Camp

What a lovely spot with short walk to a place where you can view all the important parts of Girraween NP. Great toilet and shower facility. Fire ring and a large table provided, wood available as well. Can hear the lyre bird and not a lot else, very peaceful. A great spot!

2 nights at Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat

Our stay at Tiny Home on the Rocky at Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat was everything we hoped for and more. It was the perfect glamping setup for our little family—comfy, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning bushland. The amenities had everything we needed, and our daughters (and dog!) absolutely loved the freedom to disconnect and just enjoy the river and nature. Daniel and Kristy were amazing Hipcamp hosts—kind, flexible, and so accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us rebook after we had to cancel last-minute due to weather. Kristy was especially sweet with our girls, chatting patiently as they bubbled over about their first night and their love of dogs. Heads up for future campers: a 4x4 is essential to get down to camp (as noted in the listing), and when Daniel says to bring extra firewood—do it! The fire tub was a standout experience for us, soaking in warm water under a cold winter sky, watching the stars (and wishing on shooting ones!). We’ve done lots of family camping, but this was by far one of our most comfortable and memorable trips. Highly recommend!

Top camp had the best views, although the wind didn’t leave us alone it didn’t dampen our wonderful stay. Bruce and Brian were lovely and always checked in. Would 100% recommend to anyone, solo, couple or family.

A Hidden Gem for Nature Lovers and Foodies Alike! We had the most incredible stay at this truffle farm camping site — it truly exceeded all expectations. Nestled among rolling hills with beautiful gum trees, the site offers a peaceful, back-to-nature escape. Amazing view over the misty hills in the morning, kangaroos jumping everywhere and friendly donkey's. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. We were lucky enough to join a truffle hunt with their expert dog, Barry — such a unique and fascinating experience! The tasting of their products, from truffle infused oils and salt to mustards and butter, was next-level. Facilities were always kept clean, thoughtfully laid out, and blended beautifully with the natural surroundings. There were fire pits, a communal outdoor kitchen, and incredible views of the Milky way. Whether you're a gourmet traveller, a nature lover, or just looking for something different — this spot is pure gold. We left incredibly happy with our time at this site and will be recommending it to everyone. We can't wait to go back! Highly recommend booking an extra night. You won’t want to leave!

Weekend Trip to Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat

What a spot! Wonderful time in the glamping tent at Eagle Ridge. Wonderful hosts, we got to meet Jim also who told us some cool stories about the place and about his family! Everything is set up for you, the place is pristine. We even managed a river swim in winter! Absolutely secluded, we saw 2 people floating past our camp-site in tubes the entire trip. Thanks and we will be back again!

3 nights at Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat

My family and I loved camping at Eagle Ridge, we travelled from Sydney, Newcastle and Sunshine Coast. Two of my family stayed in the tiny home and the rest of us camped around it. The tiny home was lovely and well equipped, the deck was massive so made it easy for us to chill together as a family. There was a gas heater, lounge, massive bbq and large camp fridge to use, and a bathroom with flushing toilet powered by a water pump - with hot water! The tiny home is not powered, so you’ll need to charge the lanterns provided which you can do from the fridge. There was a fire pit near the deck as well as down near the hot tub! The hot tub is warmed by heat from the fire - recommend starting the fire around 8 hours before planning to use, there was a water pump to also fill the tub from the river. The drive in was fine for our 4wd, my mum has an AWD and it managed as it isn’t low, however was harder for her going back up the hill to leave especially with condensation. Would not recommend AWD/2WD if it rains. The property is beautiful and camping near the river was amazing. Thanks again for our stay! We would love to stay again sometime.

Weekend Trip to Broangus Bomber Wreck Rest

Such a rare find! Camping right next to a creek. You can buy good firewood at the property for $10 a bag. Flushing toilets and hot showers at this really great (pretty) toiletry block on the property. A great touch was very camp has a supplied rubbish bin and recycling bin so we didn’t have to carry all the empties out. The hosts were extremely informative and welcoming. Will be staying again.

4 nights at Warrego Farm

Our trip here was nothing short of sensational. The grounds themselves are immaculate, freshly mowed, plenty of bins provided, fire pits available. Plenty of cows and horses surrounding the site though still secured. The surrounds are fantastic especially first thing in the morning with views for miles! We were lucky enough to have a MASSIVE area to ourselves. As a group of 12 this was fantastic. There were a few other groups that came and went during our stay, though the host did a fantastic job and ensuring each of us had our own secluded area. Lindsay was kind enough to provide some portable bathrooms as well as the 2 I had hired. This made it even more comfortable for our group. Huge thanks to the ladies who came multiple times to check the conditions of the facilities over our 5 day stay. They ensured they were kept immaculate throughout our visit. Lindsay checked in daily to see if we required any Firewood or ice and even offered to pick up any essentials from the local town for us. Amazing. The add ons available really make this site worth visiting, from generators, to kayaks, to additional amenities, food items and more. A phone number was provided incase we needed to reach out for any additional needs which further proves the excellent service here. 10/10 would recommend this site. Thanks again Lindsay & Team. We’re excited to come back!

3 nights at Farrup Bush Camp

Nice private spot close to the National parks, various wineries and cute country towns. Andrew was a great host and has put a lot of care and thought into this hipcamp. The view from the rock platform was pretty special and was the perfect spot for sun downers. The stars, the big fire pit, the toilet, and the shower. What else could you want

4 nights at Warrego Farm

Go on yearly trips and this one was one of my favourite spots! Was placed in a good spot was amazing Lindsay very helpful. Would attend again definitely!
