We have two paddocks on the back of the olive grove with breath-taking views. Enjoy a walk through our gardens and olive grove. You are welcome to roam our entire property - we just suggest wearing enclosed shoes. We have some very friendly farm animals - Olly the goat. Barb, Shaun, Dodge, Daisy, Duke, Georgie, Gracie and babies Leslie & Bo who all love carrots and apples. This is a full working farm and we restore vintage caravans and classic cars. You will see us pottering in the garden or walking our poodle, but we will leave you to your privacy. We have a beautiful vintage bus that we have converted into a farm shop and you can buy olives, relishes, honey, jam, seasonings, magnesium and more. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need.

We are located in the middle of the Glass House Mountains with wonderful views of Mt Coonowrin. It is a great spot for scenic photography, a base to explore the many hikes and climbs from in the surrounding National Parks. This site is located in the middle of the Glass House Mountains with wonderful views of Mt Coonowrin. Note: This site does not have any toilet or shower facilities so you will need to be a self-contained camper and bring your own. You can bring your own firewood from local service stations or other sources to be used in the firepit. Bring your hiking gear, your mountain bike and definitely bring your camera as the views are stellar. The craggy peaks of the Glass House Mountains tower above the surrounding landscape. They are so significant that they are listed on the Queensland and National Heritage Register as a landscape of national significance. Walking tracks lead through a variety of open forests to lookouts with panoramic views of the mountains. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills. There are other challenging summit routes and climbing sites for experienced rockclimbers and abseilers. Or you might want to pull up a hammock and just laze the day away.

Harper Creek Road and Harper Creek Criss cross one another as you drive through the valley. The ridges either side of the road are largely timbered, whereas the valley floor is productive land. The large property is located towards the end of this no-through-road, almost at the end of the line. While the property has dual access from both Engle Rd at the top camp; Harper Creek Rd, we enter from the valley. Camping on the top block is also available for 4WD vehicles only and not suited to large caravans. Campers are required to be self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pits with firewood provided or BYO. The mid-1900’s cottage sits in an idyllic setting, framed by the trees. The cottage is not yet available for Farm stays but will be soon. The location, vegetation and topography provide the privacy, the fauna & birdlife (the Bellbirds) combine to provide the solitude. Harper Creek cuts through the front corner of the property where it is met by a minor creek that drains the high country. You want more … how about a total of 115 acres (46.42 ha). While it is predominantly well-treed, it does have some cleared camping opportunities. It is watered by the creeks and one dam. There’s a great camping site at the top of the block, with a fantastic view! The property is off Aherns Rd, close to the village of Conondale and mid-way between Maleny & Kenilworth. With good access to the freeway via either Maleny or Kenilworth.… a perfect bush camping spot in a perfect setting! Pets welcome, please ensure they are kept under control and picked up after.

Cedarton is a small farm on 100 acres, we have cows, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep and horses. We have wild deer, wallabies and kangaroos that come in the mornings and afternoons. If the kids like to get involved, I can take them around in the morning to feed the animals, we have around 30 head of cattle, calves, 2 horses, 2 goats, one pet sheep, chickens and ducks. We have a cow called Cutie Pie, she loves a cuddle. Happy to spend time with the kids to show them the jobs we do daily. Parents can join in or sit back and relax. Takes about 1 hour in the morning. If it's school holidays, we build scarecrow's, plant sunflowers or other crops together. Wash rescue horses or any other job on the farm. Kids love collecting the eggs and cooking them up for their breakfast. We also have a pool at the farmhouse which campers can use between 9am - 11.30am daily. If you like hiking there's a couple you can do, one that takes around 30 mins and one that takes 2 hours. Plenty of space to play cricket, football or ride push bikes. If you like fishing there's creeks nearby as well. Each camp site will have wood for fires, if you require more you can buy some on site for $20 a bag. Please don't bring wood in because of biosecurity and fire ants. Cedarton Farm is also on Facebook. We are close to Australia Zoo, Big Kart track at Beerwah, Maleny Dairies, Kondalilla falls, Gardener waterfalls, Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve. There's a cheese factory, chocolate factory and wineries in Maleny. Fantastic restaurants in Montville. We are also 10 mins from Woodford Folk Festival. We are off grid only for campers, campervans and caravans we have no amenities at this current time. How ever if you want a porta loo Dinkem Dunnies are great and deliver porta loos. Roughly costs $250 to hire. 4x4 if towing because of dirt driveway and paddocks. Pet friendly however we do ask that no pets chase animals.

(Part of the Glasshouse Mtn group) Only a few hundred metres walk to the base. Council Park / playground with play gym just outside thru the side gate for the little kids. [Wet weather leading up to the stay may make the site prone to damage and may not always be accessible. Please check prior to arrival so we don’t disappoint. (The site has a orchard area with a waste water treatment spray-field dispersal. Just be aware as the sprays come on without warning. Rinse off should you come into contact. Water is not potable. Otherwise we welcome you and will endeavour to make your stay as uninterrupted and pleasant as possible. 😊

Weekend Trip to Olive View Estate - Stunning Views!

We love staying at Olive View Estate Scenic Rim. The wide open spaces, rolling hills and mountain views are spectacular. Waking up to the sounds of birds and insects as the sun rises from behind the mountains of the Gold Coast Hinterland is so beautiful. The sun setting over the Main Range mountains of the Scenic Rim lights up the sky with the most beautiful golden hues. When the stars come out, the constellations are clearly visible due to the lack of light polution. Olive View Estate is our favourite glamping destination. We always head home feeling refreshed and revitalised.

We loved spending our first weekend in our new caravan at Olive View. Beautiful views, nice grassy areas to set up camp. Lindsay and Kate communicated well and checked in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. It was lovely to see the kangaroos resting in the shade of the olive trees. The little shop in the old bus was very cute. We will definitely return someday.

Craig was very kind and helpful with getting me into the musings of Brisbane by Ferry. Water is there. Power for those who need it. It is a safe place and the highway can be heard at night, but not felt. So, when I need a place within Brisbane again, I believe this is an affordable Option for some days.
