50km from Boyne Island · 10 sites · Tents, RVs · Miriam Vale, QLD
283 acres of mainly level bush with camping sites in various locations, either in a remote bush or by the water (dams). 6 kms of bushwalking tracks with abundant native wild and bird life. Designated fireplaces and firewood available. All campsites except the Safe Haven are physically separated and reserved for a single group (either travelling alone or in company with others). The Safe Haven can accommodate up to 4 caravans/campers with a communal central fireplace by the water. A seasonal summer stream normally runs through the length of the property from January to May. During this time access to some of the walking trails can be restricted. All sites can be left unattended and secure by visitors for day trips to surrounding areas such as Agnes Water, Seventeen Seventy, the Boyne Valley or various National Parks located within 50klms. Your hosts are always present and ready to assist in any way they can. Dogs welcome. Note: Flushing toilet is located adjacent to the Safe Haven campsite.

60km from Boyne Island · 1 site · Tent, RV · Agnes Water, QLD
Imagine having access to a 4-acre campsite all to yourself, with views of the mountain ranges and kangaroos and birdlife to greet you in the mornings—all just minutes from the beach! And yes, it’s dog-friendly! Escape at Agnes is a 4-acre property featuring beautiful gum trees, a dam, and plenty of space for a boat, large caravan, or camper. The site has no amenities, so you’ll need to be fully self-contained/off-grid, and remember to take all waste with you—leaving without a trace. There are several areas to set up camp, though we think the best spots are on the topside of the block overlooking the dam. For local attractions, dining, and dog-friendly beaches and cafés, check out: visitagnes1770.com.au Distances to key spots: 5 minutes to Ever Fresh IGA 8 minutes to the Visitor Information Centre 9 minutes to Agnes Main Beach 7 minutes to the Agnes Tavern 13 minutes to the 1770 Marina and boat ramp 16 minutes to Seventeen Seventy
