We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. These best describe this 754 hectare (1864 acres) property. Stonepine Ridge is 'remote' - your camp sites are away from any dwellings - but you are still close enough to country towns across borders. There is plenty of space for social distancing. Most camp sites are 50 or more metres apart. The terrain is mostly treed with some cleared, pastured country. On the border with the Queensland town of Stanthorpe, Stonepine Ridge is close to the historic areas of Willsons Downfall and Amosfield in New South Wales. Home to many rivers that traverse the property from top to bottom, the Boonoo Boonoo and Bookookookarara rivers and Undercliffe and Boonoo Boono Falls are close by and are popular sites to spend a few hours walking/hiking and immersing yourself in the ambient countryside. The Boonoo Boonoo and Bald rock National Parks are also within this area. The beautiful New England town of Tenterfield is about 20 minutes drive from the falls and offers visitors many shopping and restaurant options. Be sure to stop en route to visit the World War 2 tank traps - (Australia's Maginot Line) and Thunderbolt's hideout. A short drive across the border into Queensland will give you access to the Girraween National Park and a host of wineries, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. This camping property is large and you will find no better place that allows for gentle as well as more advanced walking, hiking and mountain biking. The altitude on the property varies from 900m at the top down to 50m to the bottom. The temperature is variable with mostly cool nights, which makes for restful sleep and a nice fire to add to the ambience.

Lovely spot at Point camp I would have sit there and just watch the view feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere with town so close. Steeper access then a lot of camps but very enjoyable and perfectly safe if you take things slowly.

5 nights at Savvy Creek Farms

Ben & his beautiful family were nothing short of the most wonderful hosts. On arrival they met us, including the dog 🤣 where we were parking our van. Explained where everything was and open for us to use the pool if we liked. Ben text me the following night asking how my husband was as he went in for surgery that day. I was so appreciative to know he cared to make contact and check in. Our van and belongings were safe and we were also told we could have a fire if we felt we wanted one. Ben also helped me to hook up the van on our day of leaving as my husband wasn’t able after surgery. I was in a spot of bother after needing a jack and a power pack, Ben and his kids come to the rescue. Could not have been more grateful for his kindness and support during our stay. A huge ‘thankyou’ to Ben’s Camp for allowing us to stay in a safe and caring place while my husband was in hospital. We will be back again Kind regards Cheryl & Clarrie Sellars

A fantastic camp-site, perfect place to unplug the world in the aussie bush for a perfect time of peace and quiet, free from traffic noise, noisy barking dogs and everything else the city throws at you..and just under half an hour from toowoomba.. The amenities block is a perfect mix of rustic meets 5 star.with the indoor luxury bath and shower and the very rustic outdoor hot shower, the perfect spot to enjoy nature...both short and long walks on offer, each with its own rewarding views..the host was fantastic making sure your privacy is assured....loved my stay and could not recommend this any higher for people wanting privacy and seclusion....

We had the best time. Being able lie in the creek and cool off was sensational. Our dog was in her element being able to run off leash. We will be back.

Absolutely stunning spot, quiet, remote, full of wildlife. Horses and cows in the paddock. Amazing views of Mt Edward and the Scenic Rim. Not as private as I thought it would be, the owners house overlooks the campsite so unless you have a toilet curtain you're very exposed. Otherwise amazing.

Weekend Trip to Savvy Creek Farms

We stayed at Savvy Creek Farms, Camp Fire Flats for two nights. Ben the owner met us as we arrived and welcomed us and showed us where our site was. Camp Fire Flats has access to power and water. There is a lovely fire pit with logs you can sit on. The site also has a flushing toilet not even 20 metres away. You also have access to the bathroom and shower room located just inside the backyard of the main house property. Ben made us feel very welcome, we had access to the Spa pool inside the backyard of the main house. Savvy Creek Farms has livestock on the property Chickens, Sheep and Pigs. Ben made our kids day when he brought over some of the little piglet's for our kids to see and hold (very cute). You can see Ben and his family take pride in their property and are working on beautifying and improving their property even further. The property is about 10mins outside Withcott and 20min away from Picnic Point Toowoomba. Thanks for having us we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Campfire Flats. The amenities were clean and there was plenty of room to set up. Check in was easy and it was simple to hook up to water and power. We loved the animals!

Michaela's place is delighted with creativities. There are art installations, studios, and even karaoke bar with lots of custumes to choose. We enjoyed our camping time with doggos and horses. Besides, each camp ground is huge and far from eachother. We even had a dam view in the front of our camp ground! Michaela always responds messages instantly and helped us a lot. :)) Would definitely recommend to come!
