The property is safe and secluded in the rural suburb of Virginia. We are situated in the Darwin Rural area on 5 acres of bush land with tropical gardens and a saltwater swimming pool. There is a variety of bird life, lizards, frogs, and possums. You can feed our friendly butcher birds and King Fishers on the fly from our verandah or pool area. Sit with the fish pond and chat with the turtle who is very shy! We have dogs that live at the property so pets on application only. (we do have a dog cage available if required and can pet sit for a day if required ) We have caravan sites for fully self-contained caravans and unpowered sites in the horse yard. There is a single shower / toilet block available at the top of the driveway. We do have power to some sites, and we would appreciate it if you do not leave air conditioners running while you are off site. If you are travelling in a group, we can accommodate you in a large open area if your group would like to stay together. Each caravan site has its own fireplace for your use. Only 5 minutes from Palmerston or Coolalinga, 25 minutes from Darwin CBD. If you are looking for a local fishing tour, we can hook you up with the locals. We enjoyed the seclusion in amongst the bush but whilst having a flushing loo and shower nearby if we needed it. Was very quiet no traffic noise and youre far enough away from other sites for their noise not to interrupt you too much.

Weekend Trip to Green Acres

Myself and my wife greatly enjoyed our stay at Faye's Green Acres. It was very shady and relaxed, and central to everything on the Cox Penninsula. We will certainly be recommending Green Acres to any friends who are looking for a place to camp. Faye is a friendly and gracious host, whom we both enjoyed meeting and whose land we look forward to camping on again in the future. My wife also loved meeting Buster (so did I).
