We absolutely loved our stay here. We only stayed for one night on our way north and we would definitely stay there again. Lambert and Deborah are really sweet and caring people, that are really easy going and love to hear story's about your journey. The amenities (bathroom and kitchen) are in a brand new closed shed and really clean. Obviously its a shed so it won't be as clean as a normal house (dust and spiderwebs) but still clean. Lambert offered us to park our ute with rooftent in the middle open bay in the shed to be out of the rain, what we glady did, so everything stayed dry and out if the wind. Even though there is a water treatment plant next to the property you hardly smell anything. In the closed shed there are a few games provided such as a pingpongtable, airhockey and cards and also anything that comes with a kitchen, like plates, cutlery, etc. Would definitely recommend!

This is SUCH a great spot, it ticked all of our boxes!! We had complete privacy and the property is so extremely peaceful and beautiful. Even our kelpie wasn’t spooked by any noises throughout the night. This is our new go to spot. Thank you Brian and Sally. Lovey place to stay. The amenities are lovely, making a very comfortable stay. My kids loved having the ping pong and air hockey table, I loved the new bathroom! Great location very close to an easy bike ride. We love the campfire and having wood was such a treat. We explored the property, saw many kangaroos. The only downside was being close to the sewerage plant, when the wind blew the smell come over.

This place was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend more. The property is incredibly beautiful with so many amazing caves, even with original aboriginal art in one. Exploring the property was a highlight. The privacy was amazing, did not see or hear from anyone. Exactly what we were after.

Wombat site was amazing. So private and relaxing. My 3 young kids loved exploring the flowing creek, riding there mountain bikes around camp and looking for wombats. As they said their favourite Hipcamp so far. Thanks

Weekend Trip to Willow's Retreat

We really enjoyed our time at Willow’s wilderness! Phil and Lyndel are both great hosts, and very accomodating. The property is beautiful, and the camp site we had was great! Even after all the recent rain, the site is elevated up a small hill, so we didn’t have to trudge through the mud. Lots of wombat warrens! The drop toilet is in a really good spot too. We brought a lot of firewood with us, but we’re VERY grateful to Phil and Lyndel for proving more, as it was VERY chilly on the last night particularly (frost on the ground, and vehicles), but it makes it all the more fun! Thanks again to Phil and Lyndel, we hope to be back to visit soon!

Loved this quiet, beautiful spot! As a solo camper I felt very safe. They provided the fire wood, which is a huge bonus. Saw lots of roos, and many birds. Lovely path and walk to the river. Lambert was a legend, made sure I had everything I needed. Debbie was excellent with communication. Bathroom was immaculate and lots of extras that families would love. I'll certainly be back!

Jeff's Hipcamp at 94 Bullridge Road, East Kurrajong NSW is an amazing spot for a quick getaway from Sydney! Its proximity to the city makes it super accessible for a short break. We stayed at Site 2, and it was wonderfully private, offering a real sense of seclusion. Plus, it gets fantastic morning sun – perfect for waking up with a warm start and getting all your gear dry. Site 4 where I stayed was such a huge spot. I camped at the very back of the site where you can hear gentle flow of water- very secluded place even though there are people camped at site3. I got bogged at the middle of site 4 (due to recent days of raining) so be mindful of it. Good thing there were good fellas from site 3 who helped me recover my car from puddle of mud. 4WD track is really good if you wish to add more adventure on your stay, but there is 2WD track available as well - be sure to communicate with Jeff before using it. :) Host was nice and responsive to all queries and very helpful.

At Wildwoods you'll find 330 acres of natural bushland and a small amount of cleared farmland/paddocks with incredible views in every direction. Endless gullies, mountains, forests, cliffs, and caves to explore on the property or on the crown land adjoining. An amazing amount of wildlife - Birds, wombats, kangaroos of all kinds (wallaby, wallaroo, eastern greys etc), goannas, echidnas, turtles, ducks just to name a few. There are also plenty of roads to ride and explore via mountain bike or foot. The road in is a little rough, and there is only a small amount of levelled land. But it is still an amazing spot, where nature does all the hard work, and I would love to share it with people. This is the perfect place for those who want to be in total peace and quiet, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Each campsite is private, where by you're the only camper able to book the site. Some are more private than others - Read each description for details. *Please note* access to the property is via Megalong Road - a narrow windy road, the only road in and out of Megalong Valley. Google maps can sometimes show options through Kanimbla Valley - This is not possible. Ensure you come in via Megalong Road.

Creek is flowing at the moment. We would love to share this paradise with those wanting to get away from wifi and the hustle and bustle of city life. (for emergencies we have satellite phone) Children under 5yrs are free. Dogs welcome but kept on a lead during the evening. No leeches and No ticks in this area. NO close neighbors. Perfect spot to pitch your tent or set up your camper in the valley. Lots of sunshine and lots of shade. Easy dirt road access (5km) Some sites require/recommend 4WD -some 2WD is fine. Check each site separately. Wombat, Rocky, Lyrebird, Bowerbird and Goanna sites have bush toilets, shower bag and washing water onsite. Come and take advantage of the Wollombi Valley's beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Sit and relax or get adventurous and explore the area. The historic village of Wollombi is only 25 minutes away, and has cafes, shop, museum and the Wollombi Tavern. The popular Broke and Pokolbin wine regions are a short 25-40 minute drive away in the opposite direction. Yengo National Park has some wonderful look out spots-great to drive to Finchley lookout to watch the sun set or check out Aboriginal art sites. No guarantee but...You may see wombats, kangaroos, echidnas, goanna's, kookaburras, bower birds, lyre birds, superb blue wren, gang gangs, black cockatoos and so many other native birds/creatures. Stunning rock features, caves, diverse ecosystems with abundant native fauna and flora. We are situated in a valley. Each of our camp sites are for your own private space.

Bonnie Doon at Bell

Our property is located in the Blue Mountains, nestled right in the middle of the national park and all that the Blue Mountains bush has to offer. Gums, ferns, fresh air and swimming holes. I only allow one group to camp at any one time per site. Other groups will be well away from you. However the dam is available for everyone to use. I adjust each booking with each group depending on size of the group and time of year. I also hold large events so will book out the entire site for large groups. Just a short drive from Sydney but a world away with its ancient forests and meandering pathways. All photos are from the site or within a 2km walk of the camping site in National Park or reserve. I welcome self-contained campers with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. However there are facilities on site for smaller groups at an extra cost. The property offers a number of sites that can accommodate various group numbers. Please message me if you're interested in booking one or more listings for your special get together. Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly, but no cats please. Also please be aware that we are surrounded by nature and part of nature are snakes and ticks. - we need to keep this environment for the wildlife. Please take all your belongings and rubbish with you when you leave. Leave it better than as you found it. Please be aware that due to our proximity to the road and rail that at times you will hear some traffic noise. But most times it is very quiet except for the frogs.
