1. CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property (which we strongly believe should be permitted.
2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. FREE FIREWOOD is available on site.
3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. We will refund your booking fee if you choose to cancel, or we close the property, due to the weather (it will need to be bad for us to close the property, so you won’t want to be there anyway). Please message us in advance for advice if you are concerned about the weather or vehicle access.
4. PETS - Well behaved pets are welcome but must be controlled and cleaned up after.

It has flat areas with plenty of free timber for the designated fire pits. I have tried to create a haven for wildlife including Kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and platypus. Just had a great weekend camping and relaxing at Mark’s place. Soft, grassy, flat, cleared campsite overlooking the river with tall gum trees. Solar shower and flushing toilet a total luxury as well as the huge campgrounds only being able to be booked for one tent - privacy! A few lazy boats going by, a great little swimming/kayaking beach and some short walks made for a very nice bit of time out. The road in and out was perfectly fine, might be a bit slippery on the hills when very wet and I wouldn’t bring a caravan. Thanks Mark for making it available and all the effort that clearly goes in to maintaining such a large space.

Will be back! Very organised campsite, we had a great stay! Hired a canoe, the site was perfect river view. Grass was in very good condition. Showers and toilet facilities so clean and well kept. Really impressed, perfect place to switch off and chill out, river is gorgeous to swim in!

We enjoyed camping at site #39. The waterview was magnificent especially in the early foggy mornings. Theres also a moniter lizard up the tree in front who checks out the site and cows who are right up against the fence every morning which the kids love to see. The access to the tap water is only a few metres from site and toilets/showers are easy walking distance upward tiered pathway. Its a shady place so dirt ground and great on hot summers but not so great when it rain as then the muddy dirt floor takes over. Overall Grady's Riverside Retreat has made our camping trip pleasant and enjoyable with the hiring of the canoe and all the swimming the kids had offscreens fun time, I would highly recommend this place to all.

Had a great time. Saw heaps of wildlife including huge kangaroo crossing the road 10m in front of us when bushwalking with our puppy, platypus fossicking at the riverbank, and snakes too. Lots of cool birds too. Really enjoyed our evenings by the fire pit and floats down the river to the causeway which we would bushwalk back from.

What a great place for a farm stay, being able to interact with so many different animals all in the one place! Alpacas, a pig, goats, cows, horses and kangaroos! The space is as described and the portaloo was accessible and clean. It’s very peaceful and access to the river is great for a quick dip.
