**Please be aware that for the month of November and December we will not be allowing camp fires due to risk to the crop. If no camp fire would be a disappointment (and we wouldn't blame you for being disappointed given the camp fire is the main activity!), you are best to book for outside this period. Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. We suggest downloading (before leaving home) your Spotify faves and Maps for this area then you can't go wrong. *Please feel free to book anyone in your possie that is under 18 as a child.

Located on Ulupna Island – nestled between the Ulupna Creek and the Murray River – we are a five-minute drive to natural river beaches perfect for a refreshing swim, BBQ'ing delicious local saltbush lamb, and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. At night, sit around the campfire to tell stories and watch kangaroos snack on the nearby grass. Look up for not only the most incredible stargazing but also to find koalas in the trees – Fluffy Butt and River are their most beloved regulars. We also grow about 1 acre of garlic. Our aim is to regenerate/improve the land through the careful management of animals and to be self-sufficient as much as we can. We are a family-run farm. Good access for caravans and larger vehicles. There is a compost toilet for all guests to use. Campfires permitted in winter/when restrictions aren't in place (BYO own wood). Brooklyn is a 6 generation working farm. We have plenty of space for fully self-contained parking. We also offer glamping and a tiny house available occasionally (view our other listings). This is a very large area in an open paddock with good access for caravans and large vehicles. You may well be the only people here though there’s is room for 10 vans. There is a view of the Broken Creek which is close to the property & easily accessible by a short walk. We’re are a 10 minute drive to Waaia with an excellent pub and the small town of Nathalia which has a supermarket, hotels, fuel, post office, bakery, gift & clothing stores & other businesses. Whilst there are other facilities on the property, this option is for guests who are self-contained only. Dogs on leash welcome. Campfires permitted in a supplied fire pit, some wood supplied, buy extra. TINY HOUSE available seasonally VIEW SEPARATE LISTINGS

Ein ruhiger Zeltplatz. Man kann am Morgen die Pfauenvögel hören. Wenn man Glück hat sieht man ein Schnabeltier im Bach. Witzige Ziegen auf der anderen Bachseite. Die Anfahrt ist gut zu finden.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Beauty on Broken Creek
We loved our stay here ! We were treated warmly by Peter, and had a lot of room to set up our camp. Great access to toilets/showers/kitchen, and enjoyed the lovely site. Peter kindly showed us around the property, and we were able to feed the cow and sheep, and see the many other animals on their property. If you are looking for a farm stay, I would highly recommend !!!

Carole and Peter are wonderful hosts. We stayed on site 2, which is elevated above the Broken Creek. This site is best for people towing a caravan. Site one would be a challenge to get into for people towing vans as it is down behind the homestead, by the broken creek. The amenities on the property were awesome (toilet, shower, washing machine). This is our 4th Hipcamp stay, and we weren’t disappointed. Highlights: The serenity, the farm animals, access to the Broken Creek, centrally located: 15 minutes to Benella, an hours drive to other regional centres.

The perfect farm stay! Gary is a fantastic host and takes the time to explain the property and amenities. The farm has everything you need including a swimmable dam and powered sites! We saw the most beautiful moon rise and watched a lightening storm over the horizon. Gary has incredible plans for the property and we look forward to visiting again and seeing the progress.

Great property. Tim was a good host with good communication. We camped at camp spot #5 which didn't have easy or close river access, which was dissapointing as it wasnt what was pictured in photos. Id suggested to speak with Tim specifically about what water access the specific sites have if you were too book. Would stay again though, in a spot with river access.

Gary was a terrific host he couldn’t have done anymore to enhance our stay. We are newbies to caravanning and he assisted us with anything that we were unsure of. Our grandkids especially enjoyed the cow milking process and learning all about the cow and her breeding cycles. Of course the fresh milk was an added bonus. Thanks Gary

Really enjoyed staying at Eden Farm, compared to a caravan park the sites are massive. We had a powered site with good shading. It is a nice change to stay on a working farm. Gary is a wonderful host and is doing great things with sustainability. Highly recommend.

Carmel was welcoming and friendly and the campsite was lovely, quiet and secluded. The spaces were nice and big with shelters and fire pits, and the camp kitchen was perfect - it meant we didn't need to unpack a thing! The showers and toilets were clean and big. It was lovely to sit and watch the birds we fed with the birdseed left for campers to put out, and we loved the bench looking over to the wetlands! Thanks for a great spot Carmel.

We stayed at Window to the Wetlands for two nights to explore Echuca which was a 30min drive away. The facilities were excellent, very clean, campground was watered and green, and individual sites were spaced far enough apart to not feel crowded. The shelters at each camp ground and rubber floor meant that set up was easy and you could easily stay longer. Each site had potable water and were very quiet. Carmel is a wonderful host, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here.

Great camp was huge for the two of us and our dog Leo, we arrived in 38 degree heat, having the river was a life saver. We went to the swimming section lots of times and Leo our dog loved it. We drove over purely because it was so hot. Otherwise a nice 8/10 min walk from camp. Added bonus of having fire wood already at the pit and a trash can and bin bag for rubbish. Very secluded didn’t hear or see any other campers. Would definitely stay again. ⭐️

We had a great stay on River camp 3. It was a nice flat site and very private. A short stroll to the river to cool off on hot days was a welcome relief too! Tim was very welcoming and helpful and we hope to return soon!
