Located just one hour from Sydney, our property features 19 acres of pure serenity with two dams and one large enough to kayak on (kayaks supplied). The back of the property is perfect for camping and suitable for a small to medium caravan/camper. The larger dam has a picnic area and kayaks available to paddle on. Adjoining our property is Nattai National Park with a lovely 20 minute walk down to Little River. The Aqua Pool Trail in the National Park is just gorgeous. If you wish to try and catch some yabbies from the dams the only allowable and fun way is by a long stick and sausage. Hooks, fishing lines and traps are not allowed as we have people, dogs and horses swimming in the dams. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their shower/toilet set up. We do have two drop pit toilets available and each campsite has a pit fire provided. We are getting low on firewood so you will need to bring some along with you. There is access to drinking water. Our property is 2WD accessible and can accommodate small caravans and camper trailers. Not far from Buxton is Thirlmere where the Steam Train Museum is and train rides are available on the weekends, a great activity for the kids. Thirlmere Lakes National Park is perfect for a relaxing picnic, walk, birdwatching, and glimpse into locomotive history. Mittagong and Bowral have great wineries with restaurant/bistro. Pets are welcome. There's a range of different bushwalking trails in the region, including Starlights trail, a scenic bushwalk suited to experienced hikers, which forms part the Greater Blue Mountains trail network between Mittagong and Katoomba.

Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround. It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views. As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks. We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with. Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

We live on property and are happy to share and let people enjoy our beautiful location. The morning birdsong and evening are restorative. The sunrises and sunsets amazing. Far enough away to unwind and relax, close enough to get a caffeine fix if needed! Coming into summer camp fires are subject to weather conditions and fire warnings. Campers must be self-contained. Off grid campers, 4wd vehicles with pop ups or tents on ground and RVs can be accommodated. We have a leave only footprints philosophy. We have a fire pit, (firewood available) and the garden is child and dog friendly. We hand feed the wild king parrots and our resident blue tongue lizard, named Bluey! Hook up to water and power and you can manually empty cassettes. Wifi is available but can be unreliable. Bundanoon village is only 1.4kms away. The pub is even closer! Moreton National park is only 2.5kms away and we are familiar with the walks there. We will mostly be around if you need us and are more than happy to recommend places to visit and eat. Bundanoon has a small IGA, several restaurants (including a decent Thai and Italian), pharmacy, post office, newsagent, multiple cafes and various shops.

We are a family of 4 with 2 school aged boys. We have travelled extensively around Australia and are familiar with the caravanning lifestyle. Pitch your self contained camper or caravan in our secluded garden in Bundanoon. We are only 0.5 acre but there is plenty of space for kids and well behaved dogs. Depending on the size of your set up and rainfall you will either be on grass at the back of our garden with moderate privacy or at the front of the house on gravel - not as much privacy. We have a fire pit, (firewood available) and the garden is child and dog friendly. We hand feed the wild king parrots and our resident blue tongue lizard, named Bluey! Hook up to water and power and you can manually empty cassettes. Wifi is available but can be unreliable. Bundanoon village is only 1.4kms away. The pub is even closer! Moreton National park is only 2.5kms away and we are familiar with the walks there. We will mostly be around if you need us and are more than happy to recommend places to visit and eat. I can also offer wholesome home cooked meals or meal hampers - please message me ahead of time to enquire / arrange. Bundanoon has a small IGA, several restaurants (including a decent Thai and Italian), pharmacy, post office, newsagent, multiple cafes and various shops.

Enjoy a large, flat grassy block to roll out your tents and swags. With the added bonus of a rustic shipping container camp kitchen, a toilet connected to the mains, and a (cold) shower, you can enjoy a few camping comforts. You can stroll to the beach through the back of the block in less than five minutes. This beach will take you to the famous Green Island—at low tide, you can walk around this stunning island full of wildlife. Or take a drive over to Bendalong to feed and pat the eagle rays, or enjoy a walk along Washerwoman’s Bay. Take your LILOs and canoes over to Conjurong Point and float up and down this glorious river. Put down your devices, pick up a book, and get ready to step back in time and be seduced by the magic of Manyana. You will have access to a power pole at the front of the block to run an extension cord to your site. Bins and garbage bags are provided, but please take your rubbish with you. Quiet furry friends are welcome—it’s fully fenced. We just ask that you keep noise low to respect the neighbors (both dogs and humans!). No parties, please. This is a really beautiful spot. Really peaceful and feels like you’re a million miles from anywhere but Braidwood is an easy 40 minute drive away and Oallen Ford is just down the road. Clear sky for star gazing .Great little spot to relax and unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed taking our dogs for walks and swims along the creek. Nerriga Pub is open in the morning for coffee also Lunch & Dinner 5 minutes from site.Went home via Nowra & Kangaroo Valley . Looking forward to another visit

We had an amazing glamping experience! The host and service were excellent—very welcoming and thoughtful. The place is peaceful and perfectly located in the middle of nature, which made it truly relaxing. The host generously provided lots of free firewood and fresh eggs, which was a lovely touch. The tent was spacious and comfortable and my dog enjoyed the stay even more than we did! We were also given free BBQ equipment and gas, which made our evenings even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm getaway close to nature. Just make sure to bring enough drinking water.

Great communication, clear instructions. We stayed at sunset in a swag which was a little bit on a slope as you are pretty much camping on a beautiful big sandy rock. The sunset and the night sky and the gorgeous walks near by, I love the chairs set up at various locations around the gorge. The accessibility to the property was fantastic, we were unbothered by the host or other campers we had campsite to ourselves not able to hear noise from others. Other campers did walk by on the way to the gorge and did think the sunset sign was where you went to watch we did invite them to check out the site and I highly suggested to them the sunset spots down at the gorge as I was so amazed by those. Hard to believe something so magical is only a little over an hour and a bit from Wollongong. The proximity to the townships is fabulous and we will be back to check out the tours of the historic town and attend the local distillery. Next time I think a cheese platter down by the gorge from the host will be required.

Wow what a stunning property, So much love and care has been put into this place. A peaceful forest retreat, not far from the beautiful Sapphire coast. Very private campsites, with stunning views. Amazing Hosts! We were very Lucky to share Pizza on our first night! (I highly recommend doing this.) On our second night we had a spa and watched the sunset. Another bonus is the outdoor shower with breathtaking views! Ours dogs had the most amazing time and quickly made friends with Luna. We hope to visit again. Julia, Hil, Milo and Maple. :)

We absolutely loved our time camping here! The property is amazing. We felt like we were a million miles away. All you can hear is the wildlife and the water running over the rocks in the river. Nice flat area to camp near the river bend. Enjoyed having a fish and swimming in the river. Perfect place to bring our dog. The portaloo converted into a drop toilet was kept in good condition and clean. Definitely need a 4WD or a car with high clearance. Clear, easy instructions for getting there and checking in. We would definitely come back! Thanks Brett!

We really enjoyed our stay. We camped at the Dam View site and had a lovely view over the dam. The horse was friendly and the ducks and magpies wandered around us, we also saw a kangaroo and some rabbits. A peaceful and serene place to chill out for a couple of days.
