Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen. We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehcile traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.

Welcome to Earls Farm - Campground Only 12km south of Eden, situated at the unspoiled Kiah/Towamba River, guests may enjoy swimming, fishing, paddling and bush-walking without the crowds, and/or relax and enjoy bird-watching in a private tranquil setting. There are 2 campsites next to a private branch of the river with a tidal pool perfect for young children (the main river is about a 300m walk) . Come and enjoy an exclusive bush campsite on the outskirts of the historic village of Wolumla, between Bega and Merimbula on the Far South Coast NSW. The small township of Wolumla is within walking distance and consists of a great pub and a general store. A short drive further you'll find Candelo, which has its own pub and general store as well as a showground and the country markets held the first Sunday of each month. Merimbula is 10 mins away with great cafes and shops and beautiful beaches. Campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Campers are welcome to have a contained campfire, either BYO firewood or collect from the ground. There is plenty to see and do in the area including exploring the nearby National Parks including Bournda and Beowa. Surfing,fishing,sup/kayaking,mountain bike riding and bushwalking/hiking all within close proximity. Quiet place in a nice forest with many kangaroos in the evening. The lake is walking distance from the site, unfortunately the way to the greenglade beach is unpaved. The accomodations are clean.

We loved camping here. Perfect for exploring the area and chilling at the same time. It feels more like a rural campsite than a bush camp being a stone’s throw away from the main road. Super friendly and easy going hosts. Respectful owners mindful of our dog’s needs. Enjoyed chatting with both Julie and David. Dunny is exactly that - a dunny! But we didn’t mind. And our pooch loved the place. Stunning views and amazing campfire set up, both for warming up and cooking. So much wood provided, makes the nightly fee very much worth it. Be wary of ticks, we saw several and I got bitten but we were prepared and so wasn’t an issue. A great experience and wonderful hosts!

We had the most beautiful short stay at Julie and Dave’s campsite with our two small children. The property is incredible, so private and peaceful. It was so nice to stay at such a well appointed and maintained site. Our children absolutely adored the animals, and a huge thank you to Dave for so generously showing us around! So much fun! What a fantastic spot! Originally booked for two nights, stayed for four. We loved it, so peaceful and relaxing, friendly hosts with great communication throughout. Such a great spot to base to explore the sapphire coast and also to relax and catch a rest. Breathtaking views over the valley. Thoroughly recommend this place!

Weekend Trip to Wolumla Bush Camp

This is a perfect location for a family looking to relax with their dog(s) or for groups with pets. We had hesitation and anxiety about one of our dogs, but the large space and laid back feel allowed us to have a stress free trip, particularly as we had the site to ourselves. The campsite has an impressive view in the morning as the sun stretches over the valley and at sunset. We had a mob of kangaroos bounce through the paddocks one morning, which was a tranquil sight for us all. Julie, Kirk (great name) and David were great hosts, allowing us free access to walk through the massive propriety and offering farm experiences for our boys. Thanks for being such accommodating and welcoming hosts. We home to be back with a larger group.

This site was excellent… communication and directions were friendly and helpful. On arrival the fire pit was prepared and ready for us. The site was peaceful, serene and picturesque. Hosts Julie and David were lovely … and welcoming…. giving advice and tips on the beautiful surrounding area. The location of the property was excellent for us to explore both further south, and surrounding villages. We would not hesitate to recommend for people wanting off grid experience and enjoying the solitude. We would absolutely stay again. Thank you Julie and David for sharing your amazing property .

I loved it here. The views from the campsite are beautiful. There is the “Dunny”, a fire pit and plenty of firewood. Dave and Julie were very welcoming and the most helpful, friendly people. They went out of their way to help and it was so much appreciated. My dog was in his element being allowed to explore off lead, it was sensory overload! If you are looking for a peaceful piece of paradise to stay, with Merimbula and Pambula close by, I recommend this place. Thanks Julie…and Dave…you are a legend!

We loved our stay at Wolumla bushcamp. They only take 1 booking for their site so you have all the views to yourself. Dave dropped in for a chat and a beer and gave some recommendations about things to see and where to eat. The view across the valley is stunning and the kangaroos are good company. We would definitely stay again at this fantastic spot.
