Faraway Farm will have you immersed in the mountains and feeling far away from civilized life. A chance to experience life at the base of the Barrington Tops 1 hour and 30 minutes from Newcastle, 3 hours from Sydney and 20 minutes from Dungog. Adjacent to Chichester State Forest and bordered by Jerusalem Creek the land offers beautiful bush walks, swimming holes and an abundance of wildlife. Camping is located on the ridge line overlooking the Barrington Tops to the west and a 10 min walk down to the creek for a swim. A bush toilet is available at the site. You may collect firewood from anywhere on the property otherwise BYO. While your sure to be interacting with many birds and wildlife there are also a small herd of goats, chickens and a couple of horses in the paddocks on the ridgeline, near where the owners reside. The town of Dungog just 20 minutes drive away offers cafes, shops, small supermarket, food coop, restaurants, post office and Dungog Common Mountain Bike Park. Faraway Farm is drug and alcohol free and pets are not permitted.
