Camping at a lovely farm
Dean and his family were so welcoming and friendly. The site was clean and lovely to stay specially for the families with kids, close to nice spots such as Ladis Well.
The shower was acceptable as far as camping is concerned. Although acceptable the toilet facilities could have been a little bit better.
I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
دین از من خواسته بود که به زبان خودم هم کامنت بگذارم پس برای فارسی زبانان‌عزیز می نویسم که تجربه کمپینگ در مزرعه به همراه دوستان جالب بود با توجه به اینکه همیشه در محیط شهری بزرگ شده بودم مزرعه دین در مکان زیبایی بود و این امکان رو داشت علاوه بر کمپینگ دسترسی به مکان های دیدنی هم امکان پذیر باشه

I have only got good things to say about this place. Great accommodating host who went out of his way to look after all his guests.
Some of the negative feedback I have read on this place is crap. It's a farm all farms have flies. The place is relatively flat and rate best thing for anyone to do is experience it yourself out family thoroughly enjoyed it and I am sure you will too..
Top marks to the host well done on treating everyone as an equal and ensuring they all went away with a positive experience.

We stayed in the poolside campsites and from the get go Deano was very accommodating.
Our family was well catered for in all aspects. The kids loved the animal tours and will never forget their hands on interaction.
To be bluntly if you want to go away for a relaxing "camping" weekend look no further than this place .
You won't find a better host and the look on all the kids and adult faces is testimony to the had work Dean puts into making sure his guest are well catered for.

Deans Green Paddock is an awesome little spot for a weekend getaway. There is some animals for the kids to interact with, a nice cold swimming pool on a hot day and Dean himself is very down to earth.

Well set up and lots of animals to interact with and feed. Lovely green space with fruit trees, lots of wild life. Pool was a nice extra, as the creek is fairly dry just due to it being summer, although plenty of pools to watch the birds, fish and tortoise. Plenty of firewood.

The camp sites were flat and well maintained with easy access..Dean the host is very welcoming and generous with his garden produce that he is happy to share,also the added bonus of a refreshing dip in his pool.

Tack Deano för en riktigt bra vecka. Vi hade väldigt trevligt - barnen hade roligt med att hjälpa till med djuren och köra traktor.
Poolen var verkligen populär.
Mycket plats, synd att där inte var mer vatten i bäcken men det är som det är.

We had a great time at Deans place. Plenty of space, great farm experience for the kids and the pool was a clear winner with our kids.
Love that it is dog friendly - it can be challenging to find places that accepts 3 dogs…
Dean is very welcoming, kind and really makes an effort to ensure everyone enjoys their time at Deans green paddock

We had a lovely time at Dean's Green Paddock. The campsites were grassy, flat, and very spaced out. The pool was beautifully clean and refreshing. Dean was an excellent host, keen to make sure we all enjoyed our stay. The kids loved feeding the animals, and we also saw some great wildlife. We will definitely be back.

Lovely experience at Dean's place.
Отличное место. Хозяин очень дружелюбный и общительный человек, лично уделяет время каждому туристу. На ферме живет много животных, вам точно понравится кормить их. Есть в все необходимые удобства - туалет, душ, и даже бассейн. Кроме природы и животных, вам точно понравится смотреть на ночное небо, усеянное звездами.
I had a great time at this place. The owner is very hospitable to all travelers, personally welcomes every visitor and shows the place around. The place has plenty of animals that both kids and adults will enjoy feeding. The amenities are very hygienic and comfortable - there is a toilet, a shower, and even a pool. In addition to nature and animals, you can do stargazing and enjoy a crystal clear view of the Milky Way in the sky.

We camped at Banana Lane 2 - non powered site. Well maintained mowed lawn.
Directions to get to the farm are clear and simple. The host Dean is very welcoming and happy to help with anything!
Highly recommend for a camping family holiday, lots of animals to feed. Trampoline for the kids. Pool is great and clean.
Bonus to get a welcome box with fresh eggs, cucumber, chilli, tea, and dried pear.
Drop toilet and shower available.
Firewood available.

We stayed up on the pool side sites. Very close to amenities and pool.
Amenities were 10/10. Pit toilet that made you feel like you were in a funky Melbourne pub.

If you can’t say something nice, don’t say it. An old adage!
Question: why would Dean spread chicken/ horse/ Human excrement at the height of summer just where we camped?
Question 2: flies, why impact the camping environment?
Question 3: after seven years why not build septic toilets for so many quests to avoid a drop toilet and nightly cleaning and lime? Thankfully, the clean toilets at the local park where a highlight.
How do you finish this review? The pool was great!

The camp was “fine” at best. We were there for two nights. The first night had a lot of people, which is fine - except for the sharing of one drop toilet. The smell was overwhelming. With it being housed in canvas slung around a few trees it was very unnerving. Note: the shower has the same set up, canvas slung between trees and only one for the whole camp, assuming you can follow the full page instructions on how to use the shower system.
Loud music was played until well past 11:00 - not sure who you can inform when the noise is coming from the owner.
Animals were friendly and my children enjoyed. The location is magical, and generally friendly. Just not what has been detailed in the blurb for the property in regard to amenities.
Also not sure if the legal requirement of drop toilet being near a creek.
On our last night the host said to us “my mum always told me that if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” I think this may have reduced the number of honest reviews. Such a shame that this was the final impression we were given.

We stayed at Dean's farm for 7 days and loved it. Our children loved feeding the animals daily and enjoyed helping Dean do farm chores. We also enjoyed jumping into the pool to cool down during hot days. Thank you Dean for sharing your special place and for being a great host. We hope to visit again soon.

Great Spot! Super relaxing, loads of things to do and what an awesome host! Dean went above and beyond to not only help us out with our van
but ensure we had the best time and didn’t want for anything. The care package on arrival was such a treat! The animals were great fun as was the daily feeding time.
The pool was amazing for the kids and the overall spot itself is beautiful. So relaxing and calming, plenty of shade and lots of site options to choose from.
We will definitely be back.

We had a very relaxing 4 night stay at Dean's. A really lovely place to stay with lots of birdlife around, and despite 2 days of constant rain, hardly any water lying around the grounds. Good mobile coverage and lots of activities if you bring children...lots of farm animals to feed! Quiet at night. Lots of area to walk around to explore. Dean was very welcoming and checked in each day to make sure we were happy and doing ok.

Camping with animals 🐎🐐🐓🦉🐣
I have spent 4 night at Green paddock with unpowered site. It was nice spot, nice grass. Swimming pool was cleaned. Dean is very kind and friendly so you can ask him to get some fruits or vegetables (if there have ). There is good experience camping in his farm. I recommend the kids will love to see animals at this farm.

Good camping spot - definitely bring gumboots and fly covers!
Great spot for kids, with the pool, swings and animals to pat/feed, trampoline + heaps of space to run. Awesome campfire spots around each site. Instant hot water outdoor shower was great! Deano was very welcoming and friendly.
Downside - tons of flies and animal poop everywhere. To be expected on a farm, though

Dean was a lovely host. The pool is clean and the kids loved it. It’s a lovely part of the country and we followed Dean’s advice to visit Gresford, Paterson and Ladies Well which is an hours drive away and absolutely stunning along the Allyn River. Unfortunately for us the positives were outweighed by the smell of the place. We had to light a fire to escape the smell of manure/dump toilet. We were next to the pool so it may have been the spot we chose, close to the garden and toilet with dynamic lifter/animal poo not covered with anything on top to reduce the smell. The drop toilet was foul. We’re regular bush campers (not fair weather campers) and are used to drop toilets, but the smell of this one was awful. Owner needs to put in a proper toilet - is on mains water so wouldn’t be too hard. Alternatively a proper functioning drop toilet or a portaloo. The shower was good with hot water.

Relaxing Camping Experience !
As return campers, we had a great time at Deans Paddock. Feeding & seeing the animals again was a highlight for us. The pool was nice to cool down in.
Everything was just peaceful & perfect.

Comfortable camping
What a spot! Deano was an absolute legend, making sure our needs were met and we were comfortable during his friendly safety checks. 360 degree views of bushland in a peaceful location. Every fruit tree under the sun to walk through and the farm animals that needed feeding kept the kids busy every day, plus the friendliest horse - Brownie. To top it all off there was the shaded pool with a slide and pool toys included. This place definitely kept the kids occupied and entertained.
