If you want to include Belle tents in your booking rather than bring your own you have the option to add those to your booking and we will set them up for you with lighting included, though you will need to BYO beds and bedding. The campsite adjacent to the shed has running water, an outdoor shower and outdoor toilet. The property has short (circular) walks through the bush, and access to Sugarloaf Conservation area (with further walks and access to the Great North Walk). But its the ideal place to just chill. Camping is optional with nice flat spots near the dam under sheoaks. Our campsites are equally as beautiful. Chill out in the shade by the dam during the day. Firewood is provided and you're welcome to use the camp ovens and the rotating grill, but if you get stuck cooking on the open fire there is a microwave, electric hot plate and kettle. These are situated downstairs in the barn a short walk from site. A great swim in the 50m dam. There is access to toilets, showers, drinking water and rubbish facilities. On the Central Coast just 1.5 hours from Sydney is this relaxing peaceful escape suitable for a few families or a group of friends. This place has a truly fascinating history. The huge backyard previously hosted an annual gypsy festival to celebrate International Romani day. The backyard is really the highlight - from the moment you step into it you will feel like you have escaped into your own little paradise. The house itself has 3 bedrooms, with 1 bathroom inside and 1 bathroom outside. Inside the house, which can sleep up to 8 people. In addition to the main house, there are 3 hand-made gypsy style caravans on site. The largest (brown) caravan at the front of the property has a double bed and 2 small single beds - so can sleep up to 4 people. It is suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids. The smallest caravan (green) has 2 single beds in it - please note that these beds are narrower than a standard single bed - see photos. Bed linen and Towels are provided only for the main house occupants - you must bring your own linen and towels when staying in the caravans. The medium caravan (blue) is in the backyard and can be used as a cubby house/chill out area or workspace. The house itself has recently been renovated, with care taken to retain its gorgeous vintage fixtures and furniture. There are coloured stained glass windows and lighting pendants throughout the house. This is our family holiday house so we have set it up with everything that you and your family will need to feel comfortable and at home. It’s an absolute paradise for kids with the trampoline, jetty, gypsy cubby house, kayaks and fishing opportunities. Mountain wilderness with rain forests and small creeks and springs from 350m to 800m, the property is off the Mt Royal arm from south west side of the Barrington Tops. We have Km’s of walking, 4x4, cycle, motorcycle, side by side quad trails and if you like make your own. We have a main cabin with separate accommodation with off grid power with all the ammenities, also a Glamping style Pine Cabin with basic off grid and basic camping amenities. The property has numinous camping areas or if you like set up camp where you like. Dog friendly so long as the dog is to. There are minor logging activity during mid week in quarantine areas of the property, happy to guide and explain how that works. We are 45min from Singleton in the Hunter Valley, a scenic drive on tared road to the main gate, then you need a 4x4 from then on and 5 km to the property.

Wombat's Forrest is a 30 acre off grid property of bluegum forest and rainforest running either side of Brunkerville creek. Booking includes 2 cabins and an equipped campsite. You will have access to the entire property during your stay, complete privacy. Staying here, you are completely hidden from any other man made structure, immersed in nature. The property is located less than 2 hours from Sydney, 20 mins from Cessnock and the Hunter wineries, adjacent to Sugarloaf Conservation area. You'll love the morning and evening birdsong and be surrounded by the colour green by day. At night, be lulled by the music of the froggy symphonies, watch the moon rise over the forrest, and being mesmerised by the warmth and dancing light of a fire. Wallabies visit at dusk and dawn and a Koala has been heard calling at night. A 1km drive from the main road leads to the open living space. There are two cabins, just within sight of each other, a campsite with an outdoor kitchen shed and a large oval lawn. The Sky Cabin (blue) has a very comfortable queen size bed, a large deck, bbq, composting toilet, small equipped kitchen, solar lighting, hot and cold running water, an outdoor hot shower, and slow combustion fireplace inside. The Earth Cabin has an exceptionally comfortable queen size bed, deck, composting toilet, solar lighting, a slow combustion fireplace inside and running water outside a short distance away. If you want to include Belle tents in your booking rather than bring your own you have the option to add those to your booking and we will set them up for you with lighting included, though you will need to BYO beds and bedding. The campsite adjacent to the shed has running water, an outdoor shower and outdoor toilet. The property has short (circular) walks through the bush, and access to Sugarloaf Conservation area (with further walks and access to the Great North Walk). But its the ideal place to just chill. There's a number of great lookouts nearby if you're up for a walk. The Barn accommodation is great for groups who enjoy the outdoors. Enjoy your outdoor adventure with open living and eco tourism at the foot of the Watagan Mountains. Wildlife and bush tucker walks available. Firewood provided for your indoor fireplace. You will have access to a camp oven and rotating grill, as well as a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, electric hot plate and kettle. There are toilet and shower amenities, and access to drinking water. There is phone reception in certain spots and limited wifi. There is no TV. The barn can accommodate sleeping for 10+ and features two double beds, two single beds, one couch, two air mattresses and five floor mattresses. There is also a fully equipped gym. You will need to bring your own sheets, pillows, sleeping bag etc for added comfort. Sleeping close to the fire upstairs is recommended in the cooler months. Camping is optional with nice flat spots near the dam under sheoaks. Our campsites are equally as beautiful. Chill out in the shade by the dam during the day. Firewood is provided and you're welcome to use the camp ovens and the rotating grill, but if you get stuck cooking on the open fire there is a microwave, electric hot plate and kettle. These are situated downstairs in the barn a short walk from site. A great swim in the 50m dam. There is access to toilets, showers, drinking water and rubbish facilities. Your furry friend is welcome to holiday with you.

Day trip in 4WD to South end of Barrington Tops Forest - I can take up to 3 people on a day trip to Barrington Tops Forest. Approximately 1 hour drive each way, 4 hours in the forest. Cost is $ 199.00 Tennis - The local tennis courts are 1 Km away and can be hired for $10 per hour. I have some balls and racquets but you may wish to bring your own rackets as mine are not very new.

We had such a relaxing time! A hidden oasis amongst the trees & wildlife. We had everything we needed. So many little touches that wouldn’t even be expected, but were greatly appreciated- Pete & Margot clearly care about the experience of their guests which is so refreshing & we were very grateful. We will look to stay again, and would recommend to couples or an individual who want to relax and use it as a base to explore some of the fantastic beaches nearby (Seals Rock was a great recommendation from Pete).

Weekend Trip to STAR GAZING BUBBLE HOTEL

We had the most beautiful night at the Bubble Hotel. The space was cosy, clean and so special since we could bring our dogs along! We were so lucky to book during the winter deal, which gave us the guest house, fire pit and fairy lights – these made the night feel extra special and we probably wouldn’t have been able to splurge on them otherwise. Sitting by the fire pit under the fairy lights was such a highlight and waking up to kangaroos hopping by at sunrise honestly felt magical. The only little hiccup was that someone walked into the guesthouse in the morning, even though we’d been told it was private – but it didn’t take away from how special the stay felt. Overall, such a unique and memorable experience – one we’ll always treasure and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a magical escape in the Hunter Valley.

The Back Road Van is fully under cover including outdoor lounge and eating areas.

This is one of those finds that you want to keep your own secret, yet tell everyone about. Highlights for me were stargazing at night by the firepit and my morning cuppas looking out at the wildlife.
