Or perhaps a horse drawn equine tour around the apple orchard, which is only a 5 minute drive from the campsite would be more to your taste. A fire pit is available if you bring your own wood. The campsite area is generally flat with lovely lush grass. Artisans Park is a farm set on top of a mountain which is sometimes windy sometimes snowing and being a farm we have animals and spiders and everything that nature includes note we can not control the weather or nature, there are no local coffee shops, we are not connected to the electricity. This is a camping site and our stays are like camping all heating is wood hot water is gas and lights are solar, No TV no power points no fancy appliances. If you like camping and staying in something unique Artisans Park is the place for you, If you want a luxurious five star stay we are defiantly not the place our stays are basic and clean. 1949 London Bus, WW2 Army Tower, 1885 Trig Hut Artisans Park is located 45 minutes from Bathurst and is the closest city for food and fuel. We do not have local shops or fuel stations. The London bus is suitable for children as the upper deck houses the bedroom. The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. No pets please. once again no pets including dogs.

Stock water is supplied by dams in all paddocks with a permanent Evans Plains Creek that flows through the property which is a wonderful spot for bushwalking. There is also a bore that provides water to our water tanks. The Property also offers a pine forest, which is cooling on hot summer days, and in the colder months, it is a winter wonderland adventure. A perfect part of the property to do many things: picnicking in the wild whilst collecting pinecones, wildflowers or simply admiring the majestic views of the Fitzgerald Valley and the Blue Mountains over a glass of local wine and cheese. We loved camping at Cargo Road Winery! James showcased what his winery was all about and we tried some delicious wines! Facilities were amazing and the camping spots are nestled amongst the vineyards! We took our dog who loved his first camping experience! It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. I had the most incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The view alone was worth the trip – the kind that makes you stop in your tracks and just breathe it all in. Sunrise, sunset, even the quiet moments in between… every angle felt like a postcard. Our host was absolutely outstanding. Warm, thoughtful, and genuinely passionate about making our stay perfect. Every little detail was considered, and their recommendations made the experience even better. And the activities were unforgettable. We requested a last minute booking to stay due to being rained out at our previous campsite. Darrin was prompt and friendly. The communal areas were outstanding and very warm. We loved spending time with the friendly dogs. The check in instructions were clear and the site was very quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay.

This campsite in the orchards was such a lovely surprise. It’s right off the roadside but has a feel of calm about it. We had it all to ourselves and it was lovely to watch the sunset over the dam. Facilities were totally adequate and cosy.

Beautiful location. Close to town but far enough out that you feel a little remote. Lots of beautiful spots to camp with views of the mountains and vineyards and the cellar door had some great wines. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We had a great time camping amongst the beautiful Cargo Road vines and enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting and a bottle or few. Highly recommend for easy camping with access to amenities.

Amazing. Glamping not camping. Very comfortable shared space that we were very lucky to have to ourselves. Lovely to have warm aircon on an unexpectedly freezing cold night. Boys loved the pool table and tennis table. Adults loved the warm shower and en suite. Lovely leather couches. Make sure you get a coffee and bite to eat at the Roasted Kombi in town as well.

The camp was beautiful and conveniently located to a hot shower and toilet. However it was also very exposed and the wind was howling for the 3 days we were there. It'd be great if the hosts planted some shrubs (like bottlebrush) for a bit of shelter and wind protection, without the danger of dropping branches like the large trees do.
