Fairlight was purpose-built for guests who have described it as comfy, relaxing, well-stocked, private, and different. The timber interiors and antique pieces add a touch of charm. Guests staying for a while may like to bird watch or count the various native animals that visit the garden. Both depend on the season of the year. Other things to note Fairlight is in the country, 20 minutes from town so the Continental breakfast is extensive since there is no coffee shop to stroll to. You choose your breakfast brands so no food is wasted. Dietary needs like non-dairy or gluten-free can be catered for. Most guests use the kitchen for their evening meal or drive into town. In winter, there are room heaters and electric blankets. In summer, there are pedestal fans but no air conditioning.

Savarnh's Island is a 100 acre privately owned Island on the north coast of NSW Australia. Five kilometres of riverbank to camp on. Chris was so welcoming, he had everything we needed and the glamping tents were so cute. He had lots of facilities that had we been able to stay longer we totally would have taken advantage of. My only thing to note is that the road out to this site can be a little rough so if you don’t have a 4WD just be warned. Otherwise the site itself is marvellous and Chris is a very responsive and helpful host.

Lovely spot. The cabin was clean, new and had everything we needed. The hosts even had milk, eggs and berries in the fridge for us. WiFi was available. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked great. We were only staying as a stopover on a long trip but I would definitely recommend it for a longer stay.

Absolutely beautiful property! Ngaio was super lovely and accomodating. The cabin was comfortable and clean. Our dog had a fantastic time running free in the paddock and swimming in the dam. Looking forward to coming back when we’re next in the area.

We had the best time here! The property is so well set up with everything you would need, and the facilities were so tidy and clean (Also, what a luxury to sleep in a proper bed while 'camping'!) The property and location is absolutely beautiful, with a short walk down to the creek for a swim (or kayak if you so desire) We were lucky enough to be there with no other campers so had the property and creek to ourselves - such a treat for the Christmas period when places are normally packed out!! Also, a big shoutout to Chris who is an absolute legend! We were there for a 40° heatwave, and then a massive thunder storm - Chris went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and comfortable through it all. I'm sure we will be back to check out the camp kitchen once its complete. Do yourself a favour and book in here, you will not be disappointed!

Weekend Trip to ‘The Hut’ on the Clarence (4WD)

My family and I spent 3 nights at the hut. What an amazing place. A fun little drive to reach the hut definitely would need a 4wd if you’re thinking of booking. 10/10 for me I loved it. Caught myself 3 Australian bass off the double kayak provided at the river. My kids had a blast adventuring fishing and swimming. Star gazing was a 10/10 also. Jessica was lovely and had great communication with me her hut is one you shouldn’t miss. Thanks again Jessica

Me and my partner had been camping for two weeks and decided to treat ourselves to a night where we didn’t have to put up our tent. We are so glad we chose to come here for our night off. It was bliss! Chris is super friendly and really welcoming. The yurts are well maintained and well furnished. Shower and toilets were very clean and spider free which I was very grateful for.

We had such a great stay at Petaurus Garden! Chris was an awesome host — he upgraded us to a larger tent since it was just me and my husband, and made sure we had everything we needed, including extra torches, lighters, and other essentials. He even offered us a bike ride, which was such a nice touch. We also went kayaking and explored the walking trails around the property- such a peaceful and beautiful spot. There was hot water available for tea and coffee too, which made the mornings even better. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing nature getaway! We will definitely be back 💛
