Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Welcome to Driftwood Beach House, a classic Australian surf shack, tucked away in the heart of Yuraygir National Park. Our off-grid home is the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and reconnect with nature. Located in Diggers Camp, a short 2-minute stroll to pristine beaches, snorkelling the natural rock platform, fishing from one of our many rocky points or making the most of the empty surf break out front. Due to the remote nature of Diggers Camp, our entire community runs off-grid, relying purely on solar power, rainwater, and septic systems. Driftwood beach house does not have any air-conditioning, internet, or TV - and that’s part of the charm. Here you can fully switch off and slow down. Accommodating a maximum of 6 guests, our house setup is perfect for a family or small groups travelling together. Our kitchen is small, but mighty, fitted with a gas stove, gas fridge, traditional billy, and all of the kitchen bits you might need to comfortably self-cater your stay. We have space for dining inside as well as out on the veranda overlooking the native trees. After a day at the beach or exploring, our cosy lounge is well stocked with books and games for all ages, providing the perfect space for a laid-back evening.Welcome to Driftwood Beach House, a classic Australian surf shack, tucked away in the heart of Yuraygir National Park.
