Nestled in a peaceful, natural setting, the space was cozy, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay incredibly special. Waking up to birdsong and having coffee on the balcony felt like a dream. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was immaculately clean and well-prepared. Aneta and Paul were wonderful hosts—friendly, responsive, and genuinely caring. If you're looking for a relaxing escape that reconnects you with nature without sacrificing comfort, this is the place. Honestly don’t even want to leave a review because I’d rather keep this place a secret! But it deserves it — and it’s only going to get more popular as they keep improving it. We had an amazing stay here. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help us. Communication was clear and easy from start to finish, and the directions and access were spot on. The property itself is stunning — a gorgeous part of the world, private and peaceful. Each site is secluded and spread out; you wouldn’t even know there were other people around. It did rain a lot during our stay (not their fault, of course!) and access definitely required a 4x4. But the hosts went absolutely above and beyond to help — even spending over an hour with the tractor making sure we could get up the hill safely with our van. We felt really looked after. Facilities were great — the toilet and shower were basic but totally usable, and it was awesome having river access nearby. Our dogs loved it too — both on and off-leash depending on where we were. Bug and mosquito levels were really low, even after heavy rain, which was a nice surprise! Overall, can’t wait to get back. Between the location, the setup, and the next round of improvements on the way, this place is a gem.

We were unlucky to arrive when it was raining so we couldn’t get a real feel for the property. As it rained all night we decided to leave early and not have our 2nd night there as we couldn’t light the fire and the leeches were biting us and our dog so we thought it best to revisit Stuart’s property another time when we can make full use of it all. We will be back 👍

Weekend Trip to Figtree Farm at Findon Creek

Stayed here with 18 of my mates for a long weekend where it was pissing down with rain for a fair chunk of it, but we still had an amazing time and would highly recommend. The cabin itself was well fitted out and the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly appointed. Only thing to add would be some curtains or blinds in the bathrooms as you can see in and with so many people we had to put some towels over the windows to make sure no one could see in. Definitely need a 4wd if it’s been raining to get up to the top, would not have made it otherwise

Weekend Trip to Drumack Farmhouse

Loved Jessicas farmhouse, when we first arrived honestly the peace and quiet was music to my soul. Cute little house, loved the surroundings and you could hang out with the cows. So good there is no TV or technology although would recommend maybe some board or card games. I will be back for sure, be cute for a little besties friend getaway. Lovely piece of this great country, the boys do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome. Great flat enclosed paddock for those with fur babies. With loads to explore including the walking trails and the creak to be one with nature (but naked) while kicking back and relaxing. Defiantly comming back.

The red cabin is a lovely little get away spot, away from the loud and bustling of the world and into the beautiful hills of murwillumbah with the surround sound of the gorgeous creek beside the cabin. It was such a perfect little cabin in a perfect place. Aneta and Paul are lovely hosts and were very helpful!

A fantastic place to slow down and relax - just far enough from the rest of the world for some peace and quiet, while close enough to have anything you could possibly need within reach. We were relieved to hear that the tiny home was accessible with a sedan, and charmed by how cozy the cabin was - the addition of the sauna and pool tying it all together for a stay to come back for. Of course, none of this would have been possible without Stu, who was a wonderful host and warm, friendly person.

We had an awesome stay for Easter. Stuart was a great and friendly host. We weren't set up too close to other campers. there was a nice bit of space to run around in. Sushi was a lovely addition to the family stay (Miss Sushi is Stuarts dog). Being the period of time we were at, it was very dewy over night, so don't leave stuff out, or it will get wet lol. Be mindful of ticks. We had both adult males find one on each of them. Will definitely love to go back at some point in the future. We were a set up of a camper van and tent and had plenty of room, views were gorgeous and seeing black cockatoos was a bonus.

If you wish to wander further afield, Kyogle is a 30 minute drive away. And there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. The Meadow -Byron Hinterlands Domes

The Meadow at Dunoon is located 40 mins from Byron Bay; 20 mins from Bangalow. Its the perfect escape for couples, a small group of friends or families who are seeking a relaxing and environmentally friendly Byron Hinterland break. Our two eco-friendly domes sit on a 120 acre property providing a unique experience with a sense of space and privacy that helps you disengage from the everyday. Access to water and solar power on site. There are 2 domes available for up to 6 guests, with each dome including its own bathroom. Each dome has a queen bed and a single. There is an an outdoor undercover space including a kitchenette area, BBQ, sink, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave & cutlery/crockery. Please note there is no oven or cooktop, only a BBQ. There are two hammocks and outdoor lounges to spend some time enjoying the view and time together. For those looking for a bit of adventure there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Local attractions include: Whiann Whiann Falls- swimming hole- (5 minutes) Nightcap National Park, including spectacular Minyon Falls (30 minutes) Rocky Creek Dam, which has walks and a platypus trail (10 minutes) Eltham Hotel (15 minutes) The Channon Tavern and monthly markets (10 minutes) Bangalow Markets (20 minutes) Important information: Linen not provided. Doona, sheets, pillow tea towels needed. PLEASE NOTE: This is a "glamping" experience so insects and nature is a part of the experience. The tents are set on a concrete slab which is regularly sprayed however insects will still be around as the tents are set in the middle of the paddock so please be mindful of this. This property uses Solar Power (not connected to the grid) so please be aware of energy usage. All lights and general appliances are low energy and remain suitable for use over an extended sunless/cloudy period. If you drain the solar you will lose power and hot water. Both domes have aircon. The air-con cannot be left on. They were installed so if you have been out exploring all day and return to find a very hot or cold dome it gives you the ability to modify the temperature quickly. Once the dome has been cooled down or heated up (in our experience this takes approximately 10-15 mins) you can switch it off and use the fans provided if the evening is warm. If you leave the aircon continually running or forget to turn it off and go out you will lose power and the power will not return until the solar has had a chance to recharge the next day. There are 2 portable fans inside the domes and a fan for outdoor use for hot days. To reduce the impact on hot days the domes have rooftop curtains that should remain closed along with the front window curtains to keep the tents cooler. Guests have access to the entire 120 acre property. There is a gate for access to the paddocks beyond the dome fencing. The gate needs to be closed immediately after entering and exiting to prevent cows entering the dome area and causing damage or exiting onto the main road. You can stroll along the road until you reach the bushland on the far end of the property. We do not recommend walking through long grass on the property without protective footwear as snakes are known to live in the hinterlands region. Please be aware the driveway to the domes is not sealed. It is a gravel driveway. In the rain it may be slippery. Parking at the top of the property is recommended for cars that are not suitable for gravel inclines.

Hopkins Heights Bus

Our Hopkins Heights Bus is perched high on a hill on our 44 acre property in the North of the Tweed Valley looking out to the north over the McPherson Range. The Tweed Valley, effectively a caldera, was formed from the now extinct volcano of Mount Warning. Traditionally known by the first nations Bunjalung people as Wollumbin. The Tweed Valley is blessed with art galleries, beautiful beaches, rainforests, great food, waterfalls, hiking trails, tranquil villages and the list goes on or you can just stay on our farm and enjoy the peace and quiet with the cows and chooks. Our closest village is Chillingham, about a 10 minute drive, which has a general store for all your basic supplies (food, fuel, bottle shop) and the famous Banana Cabana fruit shop. Murwillumbah is around a 30 minute drive.

It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations. The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area. You may like to meet our pet goats or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting. 25 minutes to Gold Coast airport. 30minutes to Byron Bay. We will also plant one tree per booking. Your privacy is important to us! The glass doors are tinted and reflective, plus curtains are available for more privacy. The main house is a little over 50m from the tiny home.
