Bimbimbi is located at the free flowing, clear beginning of the Murray River, at Tintaldra. We have 5 separate sites. Each site is for a single group, so you know you will only have yourselves in close proximity. Each site has access to the river, although The Fishing Hole, River Red Gums and The Big Bend have better access than The Willows and The Old Pump Hole. Swimming, fishing for Murray Cod, hiking along the river bank (we have 3km of frontage), bird watching, relaxing are typical things to do here. Or, if you are more adventurous, borrow our canoes and do a down river trip, or go for a longer hike up Pine Mountain in the Pine Mountain National Park. Or, bring your mountain or road bikes and do some cycling on the picturesque roads and trails.
The campsites are well spaced out, with a minimum of 200 metres between the nearest two locations. In fact, it either impossible or very difficult to see anyone else at the other camp sites from your own camp site.
Each camp site is accessible via its own track, so you won't have other vehicles driving past your camp site. We have a Leave No Trace policy, please take all rubbish with you. (This also means not throwing bottles, cans, bottle tops, aluminium foil and other non-biodegradable items into the camp fire.) Dogs are allowed, but please keep them under control, particularly if near cattle. Campfires are allowed only in braziers provided, when fire bans are not in place. You can gather your own firewood or purchase firewood from us (see "Extras"). Please arrive before dark if you haven't been here before. It is difficult to understand a new camp site in the dark. We provide a toilet at each location, for your convenience and the cleanliness of the camp site in general. Nothing but your human deposit and toilet paper in the toilet please. No disposable wipes, nappies etc. Please put these in your trash. Also, bring your drone but use it only over locations that are not occupied.
We have canoes to borrow, seasonal produce is available from the garden and our own beef and local lamb is also now available. And, again, wood for purchase if you don't want to gather your own. Please see "Extras"

The space
Our guesthouse is set on our 33-acre property and is located in Oura, just 25 minutes from the center of Wagga Wagga. Nestled amongst the rolling hills of Oura you will be immersed in the stillness of nature. On a clear night enjoy the beautiful display of stars undisturbed by the city lights. Just 15 minutes down the road is Oura Beach.. a little reserve on the Murrumbidgee river. Only 25 minutes away is the famous Junee Chocolate factory. Just a short 11-minute drive is the Wild Vine Winery and if you would like to indulge in some pampering book yourself in for a massage with Brooke at Figtree retreat just 7 minutes drive away.
Our Space:
The guesthouse is approx 100m from our home. In saying that you still have your privacy as there are gardens between us. Being a working farm you will see us moving about however we will leave you be unless you would like to interact! The guesthouse has 2 levels with the upstairs level containing a queen bed with luxurious Sheridan sheets and French linen bedding, reverse cycle aircon, flow-on heating from the fireplace downstairs, and a bathroom ensuite with a shower and toilet with toweling included. There is also a balcony off the upstairs room overlooking the gardens and market garden space. We also provide comfy and warm swags and camp mattresses for up to 2 kids to sleep in.
Downstairs is a separate toilet, dining, and lounge area with a double fold-out sofa bed. The woodfire provides plenty of warmth and we provide you with chopped wood. The kitchenette is a simple little kitchen with a bar fridge, benchtop induction cooker, and a slow cooker for your meals as there is no oven. There is also a BBQ for your use as well. It is well equipped to dine at home with all essential cookware and locally sourced condiments. Enjoy your meals inside or in our outdoor dining setting. There is a full house water filtration system giving you beautiful quality water to drink and shower in. We provide a variety of herbal teas and locally ground coffee with a coffee machine. Relax with our selection of books and games. There is a steam sauna available for use as well.
Take a walk by the creek and maybe take a picnic basket to enjoy there too. If you would like a personalized tour of the farm please let us know prior to arriving.
Guest access
You will have your own access to the guesthouse with a car space. Feel free to wander the market garden space and explore the creek and paddocks.

Our story starts in Far North Queensland, when a german backpacker, me :), met an Aussie fisherman, Craig.
To cut the long story short, after living together in Germany we decided to move back to Australia. We had a vision, trying to find our perfect place to live.
Starting out with a car, a camper trailer and two bags we travelled from North Queensland down to Tasmania. Looking for a place to live.
On our way through Tumbarumba everything started to unfold and we fell in love with our property. The feel, the experience and the climate. This was it! We've found our perfect place and finally named it "Creal's Rest" which has two meanings for us. Obviously from our name, but also from "creel" which
is a wicker basket usually used for carrying fish.
Escape the hustle bustle of life on our 10 acres alpaca life style farm which is nestled between beautiful hills and grazing properties on Walteela Road in Mannus (20 min drive to Tumbarumba). Walteela means "Place of Peace" and that is what you might be looking for. No traffic waking you. Listen to the sounds of nature instead...
Enjoy the peacefulness, local wildlife (kookaburras, echidnas, wombats, kangaroos, etc.), small creek, stunning mountain views and dark skies for star gazing. Birdwatchers... you'll love it!
Love fishing? Enjoy a chat with Craig, who has been a pro line fisherman for 18 years in the GBR! He loves to explore, show off the local fishing spots and a chat about all things fishing! Mannus Creek is only a couple of min drive away and Mannus Lake 15-20 min drive.
Hand feed our friendly alpacas, greet our pet chickens and find some eggs.
Ask us for some fresh herbs from our garden if you like cooking with a little extra flavour or use them to enjoy a herbal tea.

Endor is home to a large variation of wildlife including the endangered Greater Glider and other Squirrel Glider species. Wombats roam at night along with kangaroo, wallaby and deer migrating when in season. Powerful Owls, Gang Gang and many species from the parrot family are a spectacular sight along with morning and Twighlight Finch performances.
Endor is a primitive camp site with cabin style accommodation. There are two bunkers which are set 25m apart and each bunker can accommodate 2 people Max. Basic single bed set up with basic linen however it is required that you bring your own temperature rated sleeping bag for seasonal Camps in winter and shoulder periods. The weather can change very quickly, and temperatures can drop to below zero with snow in Winter.
Campfires are allowed during the winter season and each bunker has a fire pit.
Our aim is to provide a comfortable bed in an alpine off grid setting for those who seek an experience in nature.
Located on Batlow Road you will experience some road traffic noise and log truck activity during peak hours in the morning and afternoon. A small reminder that you are still close to civilization.

Endor Nature Camp is located in the picturesque town of Batlow, offering unique off-grid nature camping experiences. Only 25 minutes from the Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail, Endor is the perfect mountain hideaway to map out your day. Visit farm gates, take a tour of the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail and indulge your taste buds at some of the regions finest food and beverage establishments.
Located on the Batlow to Tumbarumba road at Deep Gully Bend (The Old Mill) site entrance. Endor is only 2km from the village of Batlow, nestled into steep hillside and surrounded by Alpine woodland. Endor is home to a large variation of wildlife including the endangered Greater Glider and other Squirrel Glider species. Wombats roam at night along with kangaroo, wallaby and deer migrating when in season. Powerful Owls, Gang Gang and many species from the parrot family are a spectacular sight along with morning and Twighlight Finch performances.
Endor is a primitive camp site with cabin style accommodation. There are two bunkers which are set 25m apart and each bunker can accommodate 2 people Max. Basic single bed set up with basic linen however it is required that you bring your own temperature rated sleeping bag for seasonal Camps in winter and shoulder periods. The weather can change very quickly, and temperatures can drop to below zero with snow in Winter.
Campfires are allowed during the winter season and each bunker has a fire pit.
Our aim is to provide a comfortable bed in an alpine off grid setting for those who seek an experience in nature.
Located on Batlow Road you will experience some road traffic noise and log truck activity during peak hours in the morning and afternoon. A small reminder that you are still close to civilization.

The Thowgla Hall is a community-run hall in the heart of the beautiful Thowgla Valley. Only 5km from Corryong, its location is the perfect quiet camping spot to get away from the crowds in town during the Man From Snowy River Festival. We are also conveniently located very close to the reenactment site, so you can get up there early to grab the best seats.
The camping area is located in a beautiful, level paddock behind the hall, with a huge amount of space, scattered gumtrees, and stunning views.
You will have full use of our newly renovated full kitchen, toilets, baby change table, and hot showers. You're also welcome to use our picnic area and fire pit!
Please note, we allow one vehicle per site. If you are two groups traveling together (two caravans, two campers etc) we ask that you please make two separate bookings. Only one 'set up' is permitted per site.
We also have a two-night minimum stay requirement.
Well-behaved four-legged friends are welcome, please keep them within your site and clean up any little messes they may do :).

Easy access from highway to the park. Friendly and quick check in upon arrival.
Amenities clean, pool lovely and refreshing, camp kitchen very well stocked for those like us travelling light!
Ample space in the pet friendly camp site we were provided, only downfall was gravel base in large part. We overcame this with a smaller tent on a more grassed area. May have just been our site - others had more shade and grass for tent sites.
All in all, great value for a stay over and not too far from town!

A stunning part of the Murray river and great for paddle boarding , kayaking, swimming , inflatables and fishing . Felt like we had the Murray to ourselves as the groups are well separated from each other. Stars at night incredible. Thoroughly enjoyed This location, the best hip camp experience so far . A pub 10 mins down the road and iga at Corryong not too far either . Great hosts .

You won't be disappointed by the stay, with fishing a plenty and relaxing scenery to enjoy.
The care taken by the hosts to make sure you have everything you need, even offering extras like timber and fresh meat, you can't go wrong!
