Bimbimbi is located at the free flowing, clear beginning of the Murray River, at Tintaldra. We have 5 separate sites. Each site is for a single group, so you know you will only have yourselves in close proximity. Each site has access to the river, although The Fishing Hole, River Red Gums and The Big Bend have better access than The Willows and The Old Pump Hole. Swimming, fishing for Murray Cod, hiking along the river bank (we have 3km of frontage), bird watching, relaxing are typical things to do here. Or, if you are more adventurous, borrow our canoes and do a down river trip, or go for a longer hike up Pine Mountain in the Pine Mountain National Park. Or, bring your mountain or road bikes and do some cycling on the picturesque roads and trails. The campsites are well spaced out, with a minimum of 200 metres between the nearest two locations. In fact, it either impossible or very difficult to see anyone else at the other camp sites from your own camp site. Each camp site is accessible via its own track, so you won't have other vehicles driving past your camp site. We have a Leave No Trace policy, please take all rubbish with you. (This also means not throwing bottles, cans, bottle tops, aluminium foil and other non-biodegradable items into the camp fire.) Dogs are allowed, but please keep them under control, particularly if near cattle. Campfires are allowed only in braziers provided, when fire bans are not in place. You can gather your own firewood or purchase firewood from us (see "Extras"). Please arrive before dark if you haven't been here before. It is difficult to understand a new camp site in the dark. We provide a toilet at each location, for your convenience and the cleanliness of the camp site in general. Nothing but your human deposit and toilet paper in the toilet please. No disposable wipes, nappies etc. Please put these in your trash. Also, bring your drone but use it only over locations that are not occupied. We have canoes to borrow, seasonal produce is available from the garden and our own beef and local lamb is also now available. And, again, wood for purchase if you don't want to gather your own. Please see "Extras" We are open from October to April.

Our 25 acre Hipcamp area is located safely within our 300 acre property which enjoys approximately 5 kilometres of pristine and private Murray River frontage in the beautiful rural city of Albury. Willowbank is a fourth generation cattle farm and when you arrive at Willowbank you will feel like you are a million miles away from anywhere but you are only 2.8km from the centre of Albury and 2.9km to Wodonga from our sites . We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden & Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness & Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away. Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The two best sites for swimming are The River Bend and The Willows. We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time. We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you. All waste must be removed at the end of your visit. With notice, we can arrange portaloo hire should you need, please enquire with us prior to booking. We have no access to drinking water and if you decide to use river water for drinking we do recommend that you boil the water. Swimming, floating, paddling in the Murray River is a sublime pastime. Please be aware though, that the Murray River has a very fast and strong current. Looking to hire a canoe, we recommend you contact Dave/ Murray River Canoe Hire (0417 691 339) for a canoe to paddle around your campsite or to do a beautiful canoe trip on the Murray River from Doctor's Point to Noreuil Park. It will take a few hours and yes you will go past your camp site! We do have an area to launch your motor or paddle boat or jet ski We are on the banks of the magnificent Murray River and all our three sites are absolute river frontage with uninterrupted views up, down and across the Murray River. It has been a few years since we stopped hosting campers at Samsons Gully, but we're back and looking forward to meeting new and old friends. Samsons Gully is a working cattle farm nestled in a stunning private valley. If you are after peace and tranquillity this is where you will find it. We have a national park on one side of us, and the Cudgewa Creek flowing along our front boundary. The property is perfect for mountain biking, bushwalking, fishing or just plain relaxing. The favourite camp site is on the banks of the Cudgewa Creek. However, there are plenty of places to camp in the bush for those wanting more seclusion. Samsons Gully is a perfect base to explore the Upper Murray. 20 minutes away is Corryong where there is an IGA, service stations, dump point, Dr and hospital, pubs and cafes. 10 minutes away is the Cudgewa pub who do dinner Wednesday through to Sunday evenings. Our property suits fully self contained campers only as there is not toilet or shower. Dogs and horses are welcome but must be well behaved and kept close to your camp site as this is a working cattle property. Due to council regulations we can only open one site up at a time. This ensures that your time here will be exclusive, peaceful and private.

"The Orchard" is located at Crafty Cider and SMART Animal Sanctuary "The Orchard" is in the beautiful Kunama valley located 10 minutes from Batlow and 30 from the wonderful town of Tumbarumba. Set your camp up in our small Cider Apple orchard over looking the dam and our beautiful 55 acre farm. Get close up to the camels (Houdini, Sadeek and Gobi), Check out our beautiful big highland steer called Jimmy, Roger the donkey always likes a bum scratch, and see the many other animals that live here at Crafty Cider & SMART Animal Sanctuary. Kick back and listen to the quiet around you, enjoy the sounds of the birds and farm animals. "The Orchard" is a beautiful peaceful 5 minute walk down a gravel road with big trees to our Cidery where you can taste and take back to camp some of our cider or sit and have a drink while watching the animals being fed. Maybe book a tour where Tony will show you how we make our cider from the orchard to the bottle and Lorene will show you the amazing animals. You can always jump on your bike and head out on one of the many tracks in the area. You will need to be self sufficient and have your own toilet, water etc. There is no power in The Orchard. Due to people using the orchard as a toilet we are now no longer taking people tenting. You MUST be self sufficient. Head in Batlow to check out the bakery, RSL and Pub and admire the beauty of this small town. Or head upto Tumbarumba where you can visit the Winerys and Ginnery, have lunch at Coroubya wines,The Nest or one of the many cafes. Maybe take the challange of the Tumbarumba rail trail. Check out the water falls, the blowering dam and take in those beautiful mountain views.

Palm Cove follows the natural curves of the Murrumbidgee River for 1.6km and is located 20km North West of Wagga Wagga on the Old Narrandera Road. Set up for the aquatic enthusiasts, Plam Cove has a concrete ramp and has fantastic access for almost all of the 1.6km of river frontage. So you can bring a boat or pop a line in from the river bank with ease. BYO kayaks or you are welcome to use the 2 that are here. You can take a stroll along the river bank if you like bush walking or just relax around the Gazebo area where the manicured park-like grounds lead to a little sandy beach. To cut the long story short, after living together in Germany we decided to move back to Australia. We had a vision, trying to find our perfect place to live. Starting out with a car, a camper trailer and two bags we travelled from North Queensland down to Tasmania. Looking for a place to live. On our way through Tumbarumba everything started to unfold and we fell in love with our property. The feel, the experience and the climate. This was it! We've found our perfect place and finally named it "Creal's Rest" which has two meanings for us. Obviously from our name, but also from "creel" which is a wicker basket usually used for carrying fish. Escape the hustle bustle of life on our 10 acres alpaca life style farm which is nestled between beautiful hills and grazing properties on Walteela Road in Mannus (20 min drive to Tumbarumba). Walteela means "Place of Peace" and that is what you might be looking for. No traffic waking you. Listen to the sounds of nature instead... Enjoy the peacefulness, local wildlife (kookaburras, echidnas, wombats, kangaroos, etc.), small creek, stunning mountain views and dark skies for star gazing. Birdwatchers... you'll love it! Love fishing? Enjoy a chat with Craig, who has been a pro line fisherman for 18 years in the GBR! He loves to explore, show off the local fishing spots and a chat about all things fishing! Mannus Creek is only a couple of min drive away and Mannus Lake 15-20 min drive. Hand feed our friendly alpacas, greet our pet chickens and find some eggs. Ask us for some fresh herbs from our garden if you like cooking with a little extra flavour or use them to enjoy a herbal tea. Heard of "Swedish Torch" yet? An amazing way of having a campfire, that burns for hours. Cook on it or just enjoy the beautiful mess free fire. Book ahead! Beautiful spot right on the river. Very private, lots of water birds and occasional fish jumping. There was even a little beach access into a calmer section of the river. I wish I would have been able to go for a kayak, some people passed by kayaking and occasionally a motor boat, but nothing too intrusive. The resident cows were very curious but very sweet and docile. I will definitely stay there again if I pass through that way.

Great camp site with lots of space and access to the Murray river. Site was clean and easy to access with a smaller trailer. Think a big caravan would struggle a bit to be honest. Dog friendly and lots of space for them to run! Besides the flies this campsite is great.

Bimbimbi river bend is a wonderfully secluded spot on the river. Camping amongst the popler trees gave us a wonderful place to have picnics with the kids. The river flows deep enough for an adult to float with a beer down stream. While the sheltered shallows are great for kids to play in the mud with an abundance of skipping rocks Ian and his family are very welcoming with free access to and from the farm with town close by and markets on the weekends with lots of family fun. Cant wait to stay again and bring some friends as well

We had a lovely 2 nights stay at Creal’s Rest. It was very peaceful. The alpacas were sweet and curious and there was even a baby alpaca! The burbling creek was pretty and a soothing sound. The big apple box gum tree was spectacular and provided nice shade. The site is just down the hill from the main house but quite private. There is a composting drop toilet (with no door). We saw a few platypus in Mannus creek 5 minutes drive down the road at the bridge. It was lovely and green in late spring. Our hosts were kindly and interesting to chat with. Thanks for having us!

Another beautiful stay at Ian and Olga’s property. It is 5 years now since we found their sites on hip camp. The site is right on the river and picture perfect. Lots of birds to listen and watch and the cows are lovely to watch. Grass is kept short and pretty flat making tent set up easy. Fire and fire wood provided and a toilet is set up. Fishing, swimming, reading and daydreaming…perfect place to do some recharging and enjoy nature.
