What a beautiful and cosy place, I would 100% recommend this to my friends and the public for a coupe getaway!!!!

We absolutely loved this tiny house stay. It was so cosy, and was lovely to fall asleep with the rain pattering on the sky light above the bed. The accommodation was perfect and certainly had everything you need for a short stay. The sofa bed is a great addition and you can get nice and cosy on rainy evenings with the tv on! We loved admiring the beautiful wood work in the bathroom, get very luxurious for a tiny house that’s for sure!

We had a great time staying at Pete and Margot’s place. It had everything we needed for our stay, and was very cozy. Pete was kind enough to prepare the fire for us every day so we could enjoy stargazing in the evenings by the fire! Would recommend to all :)

Wow what a treasure this caravan was! The bed was warm and cozy, everything about it was thought out, which made my stay amazing. Highly recommend if you want a quiet stay with open spaces. Pete & Margot were absolutely amazing hosts! It was honestly the best get away my husband and I have had in a very long time. The caravan was decorated in the cutest 70's retro style and provided great comforts during a very wet weekend. Their property is absolutely stunning! The sounds and views of the birds and the native wildlife was an absolute treat to experience. The rain slowed down with enough time for us enjoy beautiful relaxation by the campfire. There was milk, bread, tea, coffee and many other great little comforts around the place that made us feel so welcomed and looked after. Very kind and generous hosts, we will definitely be returning for more Bulahdelah adventures at The Back Road Van :) Thanks again Pete & Margot! See you next time!

What a brilliant set up! Pete and Margot were so welcoming, we loved our stay, everything was perfect, the attention to detail was incredible. The little touches of fresh eggs, milk and chocolates were greatly appreciated, as was the fire pit, the supply of firewood and the stars! We will definitely be back, would give a rating of 11/10 if we could!

Pete and Margot's little slice of heaven was an amazing getaway for the weekend, sat in the awesome town of Bulahdelah. They provided unmatched service and help, with multiple guides on the area and leaving great supplies to make the stay as welcoming as possible. 4 nights at Critterland - Cabin & Camping

I recently stayed at The Back Road Van for two nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. Pete and Marg went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay. The caravan was super cute and cozy, with a well-stocked kitchen and a fully equipped bathroom - no detail was missed. The real highlight, though, was the campfire under the stars and the abundance of wildlife nearby. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing hosts and a true connection to nature, this is the place to be. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Plenty of room to spread out at Paul's camping area. Lovely clean communal kitchen & bathroom. We really enjoyed our short stay and hope to go back sometime. Our dog really enjoyed the off leash stay as well. Paul is a really great host with lots of local knowledge of what to do in the area.

Weekend Trip to The Top Place

I loved staying at Meredith’s land, it was beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was cute and had a few camping spots scattered around. The spot was close to a lot of the local towns, restaurants, beaches and national parks, very spoilt for choice. Meredith was very knowledgeable of the local area and provided some great recommendations.

1 night at Ellenborough Getaways

The Mountaintop Shack had incredible views, the photos don’t do it justice. It only had very basic ammenities so be sure to bring an Eski, bedding and shower (if staying more than one night). You will definitely need a 4WD to get to the top, but worth it once you get there! The cows were adorable and friendly, and our pup and 8month old baby had a great time exploring. John was super helpful and gave perfect directions. Thanks a million John!
