A beautiful, off grid, riverside campground with amazing swimming hole on private property. This private campground is located in North West NSW. 50 minutes from Tamworth. Conveniently located 20 minutes outside the pretty town of Manilla and right on the river banks of the Namoi River. Also 20 minutes from beautiful Warrabah National Park. The campground is tucked away in a little valley overlooking an idyllic stretch of windy river with an amazing swimming hole, sandy beach, tranquil rapids and a beautiful, mesmerising, majestic rock. We have four primative campsites suited to all types of large and small, self sufficient campers in RV's, caravans, camp trailers, vans and tents. All sites are unique and positioned to enhance space and privacy as well as proximity and views of the river. They all showcase the varying, natural beauty and characteristics of the landscape. You can also book our amazing, award winning glamping tent. We are not a party campsite. Our little slice of paradise is for peace and relaxation. We also need to respect and encourage the presence and abundance of birds and animals and continue to ensure it is a peaceful and quiet home for them. You can enjoy your music just as long as other campsites and the local wildlife can't hear it. Manilla, only 20 minutes away has two dump points and water refill stations as well as a good number of shops to cater to all your needs during your stay. We are not in a high traffic area so you may get to enjoy having the place all to yourself. Our campsites have good access for all types of camp set ups and are not impacted by flooding. Nor do they become boggy in wet weather due to the high sand content in our soil. You could be sitting on the warm sandy bank overlooking the river and being captivated by the surrounding beauty and the magnificence of the swimming hole. This secret little piece of paradise has been untouched for 40 years and is home to an abundance of birdlife. Birds include the colourful Rainbow bee eaters, Kingfishers, Superb Fairy Wrens, Eastern Yellow Robins, Red Browed Finch and many more. A magical place that will delight your senses and make you feel relaxed and at peace. BYO camp toilet and leave no trace. Fish in the river; cod, cat, golden perch and carp. The camping area is spread over a beautiful, wide green grassed space, with plenty of level ground. There is an abundance of bird life here, including our pet emu Pepper who roams freely, occasional visiting kangaroos and cattle moseying down in the afternoon sunset to drink from the river opposite.

We are located east of Coonabarabran with approximately 1600+ acres of hilly bush, mostly untouched for the past 50 years. Old logging trails throughout leading to peaks for views east and west as far as the eye can see. Night fall provides star gazing below some of the cleanest air in Australia. Planes, satellites and if you squint hard enough you might see something else. Watch the Starlink trail, wish upon a shooting star. Pull your caravan out the back or park your motorhomes up the front, pitch a tent almost anywhere. Set up a camp fire and sit in the perfect silence that surrounds you. Bush walk or mountain bike around and experience kangaroos and an emu unfazed by human interaction! Discover Spa Corner, and if you are lucky enough to come across me, ask me how it came to be there. Jump in, bust out the bubbles, and post a pic to Instagram. You will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet and drinking water. There is access to a shower and rubbish facilities. This is big sky country. The skies are crystal clear and sun rises and sunsets are breath taking. So far my favourite spot on earth is out here. Come and experience it with us, hopefully you will enjoy it as much as we do. 4WDs are recommended to access the property, and there is limited access for motorhomes and 2WD (weight restrictions on motorhomes apply). Great privacy. Quiet site. Mowed sites, easy to find out spot. Lovely host. No hassles at all. We enjoyed staying at this site. The views of the view and kangaroos were a highlight. We camped here so we could go to the Dubbo Zoo. Zoo was literally just up the road. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The site is very private, nice and shady, close to the hosts house but you would not know. The amenities were nice and clean and Christine gave us clear instructions on how to get there and a warm welcome on arrival. Just remember to pack a converter as the power is via a standard 10amp. Definitely would stay again if travelling through Tamworth again.
