The campground is tucked away in a little valley overlooking an idyllic stretch of windy river with an amazing swimming hole, sandy beach, tranquil rapids and a beautiful, mesmerising, majestic rock.
We have four primative campsites suited to all types of large and small, self sufficient campers in RV's, caravans, camp trailers, vans and tents. All sites are unique and positioned to enhance space and privacy as well as proximity and views of the river. They all showcase the varying, natural beauty and characteristics of the landscape.
You can also book our amazing, award winning glamping tent.
We are not a party campsite. Our little slice of paradise is for peace and relaxation. We also need to respect and encourage the presence and abundance of birds and animals and continue to ensure it is a peaceful and quiet home for them. You can enjoy your music just as long as other campsites and the local wildlife can't hear it.
Manilla, only 20 minutes away has two dump points and water refill stations as well as a good number of shops to cater to all your needs during your stay.
We are not in a high traffic area so you may get to enjoy having the place all to yourself.
Our campsites have good access for all types of camp set ups and are not impacted by flooding. Nor do they become boggy in wet weather due to the high sand content in our soil.
You could be sitting on the warm sandy bank overlooking the river and being captivated by the surrounding beauty and the magnificence of the swimming hole.
This secret little piece of paradise has been untouched for 40 years and is home to an abundance of birdlife. Birds include the colourful Rainbow bee eaters, Kingfishers, Superb Fairy Wrens, Eastern Yellow Robins, Red Browed Finch and many more.
A magical place that will delight your senses and make you feel relaxed and at peace.

We are located east of Coonabarabran with approximately 1600+ acres of hilly bush, mostly untouched for the past 50 years. Old logging trails throughout leading to peaks for views east and west as far as the eye can see.
Night fall provides star gazing below some of the cleanest air in Australia. Planes, satellites and if you squint hard enough you might see something else. Watch the Starlink trail, wish upon a shooting star.
Pull your caravan out the back or park your motorhomes up the front, pitch a tent almost anywhere.
Set up a camp fire and sit in the perfect silence that surrounds you. Bush walk or mountain bike around and experience kangaroos and an emu unfazed by human interaction! Discover Spa Corner, and if you are lucky enough to come across me, ask me how it came to be there. Jump in, bust out the bubbles, and post a pic to Instagram.
You will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet and drinking water. There is access to a shower and rubbish facilities.
This is big sky country. The skies are crystal clear and sun rises and sunsets are breath taking. So far my favourite spot on earth is out here. Come and experience it with us, hopefully you will enjoy it as much as we do.
4WDs are recommended to access the property, and there is limited access for motorhomes and 2WD (weight restrictions on motorhomes apply). If you're unsure about your camping vehicle please message before booking.

Located just outside of Tamworth have some non powered self sufficient caravan sites on private property. Located on Spains lane near a horse stud yard on top of the hill some lovely sunrises and sunsets to view. We have some lovely native wild life that free roam the yard which makes for some great pictures.

Pet friendly (see rules - conditions apply and dogs well controlled). Campfires permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren't in place. Plenty of firewood lying around to gather your own.
No Power. Bore water available to fill up (no drinking)

This is our 6th year in a row returning to this beautiful camping spot, and it never disappoints. If you haven’t been here yet, it absolutely needs to be on your to-do list.
Caroline is an amazing host—welcoming, friendly, and genuinely lovely. This time we stayed at the Grassy Grove site, which has now become one of our personal favourites (and that’s saying something, as we’ve stayed at all the sites over the years). It’s perfectly located close to the swimming hole and surrounded by stunning scenery.
If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with nature, unwind, or simply reset your state of mind, this is the place. Peaceful, beautiful, and grounding in all the right ways.

A great camp spot! We were greeted by Christine on arrival and given a choice of spots. We chose the unpowered site by the river. A perfect spot that seemed like a world away from anyone! The property is only a beautiful 3km walk to town.

Lovely spot on the river with a lovely swimming hole, we were on the private camp spot which was nice as we like camping away from others and having our own area Caroline the host gave easy instructions to find the spot.

Great stay in Tamworth. Had the whole week for the country music festival. Dan was a very accommodating host and we had great communication when our plans had a spanner thrown in the works with a breakdown enroute. Enough space to be private in a busy week and great views to the hills beyond.

What an excellent stay. We spent 5 nights at Adela Park during first few days of TCMF and what a great stay it was. Dan was an amazing host and went out of his way to set us up in a perfect spot. The views were beautiful. Plenty of bins that were emptied regularly, water and power. Very private and great location out of the hustle and bustle of town. Would highly recommend.
