It's so fresh we drink it! Each camping site is by the river, prime position for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. Based on availability, you are welcome to choose your spot on arrival. All options are grassed and level. You will have access to pit toilets (3) otherwise, please BYO facilities. Small campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided, or BYO firepit (permitting there are no restrictions in place at the time). Firewood can be purchased at the time of booking. We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Endor Nature Camp is located in the picturesque town of Batlow, offering unique off-grid nature camping experiences. Only 25 minutes from the Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail, Endor is the perfect mountain hideaway to map out your day. Visit farm gates, take a tour of the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail and indulge your taste buds at some of the regions finest food and beverage establishments. Located on the Batlow to Tumbarumba road at Deep Gully Bend (The Old Mill) site entrance. Endor is only 2km from the village of Batlow, nestled into steep hillside and surrounded by Alpine woodland. Endor is home to a large variation of wildlife including the endangered Greater Glider and other Squirrel Glider species. Wombats roam at night along with kangaroo, wallaby and deer migrating when in season. Powerful Owls, Gang Gang and many species from the parrot family are a spectacular sight along with morning and Twighlight Finch performances. Endor is a primitive camp site with cabin style accommodation. There are two bunkers which are set 25m apart and each bunker can accommodate 2 people Max. Basic single bed set up with basic linen however it is required that you bring your own temperature rated sleeping bag for seasonal Camps in winter and shoulder periods. The weather can change very quickly, and temperatures can drop to below zero with snow in Winter. Campfires are allowed during the winter season and each bunker has a fire pit. Our aim is to provide a comfortable bed in an alpine off grid setting for those who seek an experience in nature. Located on Batlow Road you will experience some road traffic noise and log truck activity during peak hours in the morning and afternoon. A small reminder that you are still close to civilization.

Our property is divided by Avalon Creek Road, to the left side we have a site with more bush and native trees. On the right hand side there is less vegetation, this side of the property also leads to a creek. Land is recently reforested with native trees. Turn LEFT off Hume Highway into Adelong Creek Rd if you are driving from the South OR turn Right across freeway if you are driving from Gundagai Iconic Gundagai village is only 8 km away. Water sports, hiking, horse riding and skiing are all available in the nearby area. Also only 45 minutes from Wagga Wagga. Pets are welcome but must be contained to protect nature and wildlife. Campfires are permitted but you must have your own fire pit.

I loved camping at Bahwidgee! It’s so well maintained and right on the river. Wayne is an incredibly friendly host and his farm is beautiful. Only a short 3-4km walk into town (Tumut) and there’s a lovely river walk there too. Would definitely recommend and we will be back for sure.

This was our third stay here in 3 years and it still is our favourite camping spot. Wayne as always was a great host. It's so tranquil with the great grassy camp sites combined with the river the bird life the cattle the views of the surrounding area and maybe a trout or two make it just so relaxing. The new toilets were a added bonus. It's only a 10 minute drive Into town for supplies and entertainment. We will be back again next year. Rob

Bahwidgee is an excellent spot, so beautiful being able to camp right by the river. The location was easy to find with the clear instructions provided. We saw a platypus in the river whilst we had breakfast in the morning.

Easy access to a peaceful riverside grassed campsite with great views. Dog friendly! Close to Tumut for local produce. Franklin’s Butchers, Locals at Learmont and My Fruit and Veg are a must. Host Wayne a good operator. We will go back.

A beautiful place! Peaceful, serene camping right next to the river. Was lovely to wake up to cattle wandering close by in the morning. Wayne’s directions were great, and the added firewood was abundant! Pity my fire lighting skills are less than average. Would love to stay again sometime.

Wayne was very accommodating and good with communication. Sites are well mowed and maintained. We went for a weekend fishing trip and unfortunately the river was flowing too fast with release of water for us to fish at the site. Regardless the campground is perfect, lots of shade, 5 mins into Tumut and a great host!

The directions were clear, had the best time kicking back, Wayne you have a beautiful property and the cattle were a highlight especially the cows chasing a kangaroo from paddock to paddock, saw a mumma possum with a baby on her back at night. Would highly recommend this beautiful place. Day of leaving got a nice 30cm brown trout at 7am. Cooked it up for lunch. Thankyou Wayne for your hospitality. Definetly will book here again

As other reviewers have stated, sites not level. We stayed on site 3 and found someone else’s holes dug for van tyres. Site 4 is probably the flattest. Sites very grassy also
