Natasha was so accommodating and friendly throughout our stay!! Beautiful area and not too far out from Sydney at all!! Would definitely come back and stay a few more nights!

Amazing sights, awesome 4WD track in/ out perfect for a quick getaway into the mountains. Host was very welcoming and friendly offering to show us around the property and multiple camp sites on the land. Make sure to say hi Rusty, a good boy who made sure we we didn’t leave without saying bye.

We were very lucky to have the area to ourselves so had a perfect afternoon in the outdoor bath with bubbles under the stars. The location is perfect for adventuring the national park like figure 8 pools and old train tunnels around stanwell park and helensbough. Couldn’t fault the facility everything was organised and work perfectly. We took our jayco eagle outback to the facility and was manageable to drive in but wouldn’t suggest anything bigger.

Beautiful spot. 4WD road up not bad at all if you have ok clearance on your car. If your car is very low I would probably be careful. Birdsong in the morning and lots of deer around. Very peaceful and quiet except for sounds of nature and the odd train in the distance which was actually cool! Amenities were really great - hot shower with a rain head was very plush. Sink with hot water to wash up dishes etc. We felt very clean the whole time :) Each spot has fire pits and there’s an assortment of iron cookware in the shared kitchen - I’ll definitely make use of this next time!

Location was stunning, with peaceful surroundings and beautiful natural scenery all around. Alex was incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering great tips about spots to check out and going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s clear he put a lot of care into the site and genuinely want guests to have a great experience.

Gorgeous quiet campsite under the Otford park tree canopy, dog friendly, great little kitchen and bathrooms. Natasha was very helpful and even kindly did a firewood run for us! Highly recommend :)

Weekend Trip to Misty Mountain Farm

Absolutely beautiful place to stay at the foot of the mountain. Amazing stars. Fire pits provided too. Very easy access in our campervan and the farmer Mark was really welcoming. Very highly recommended indeed and so close to Berry and Seven Mile Beach. We will be going back.

Great little spot! It rained while we were there but would have loved to see the place dry to really make the most of it. We had Arena area to ourselves and our young children were safe running around. Access is a little tight in places and if towing definitely 4WD needed. We stayed with Jayco Swift but didn’t have any problems. Amenities were fabulous! Would come again. Thank you for having us Natasha

Natasha has an excellent spot here. So quiet & peaceful, great amenities. Was a great night enjoying nothing but sounds of rain and the surrounding wildlife. Property is densely packed with huge trees, it feels like you’re camped isolated in the middle of the national park.

Natasha was a great host and her arena is a terrific quiet location surrounded by great bushland. Amenities were great with the big outdoor bath the highlight. Great central location to vist the Sydney Royal Park as well as the southern NSW coast. Would stay again in this secluded spot.

2 nights at Kenzell Farm

Good space, the kids were very happy to meet the donkeys. Unfortunately we got some bad weather so will have to come back another time.

4 nights at Calabash Haven

We had the most amazing stay at Calabash Haven! The open camping area is surrounded by beautiful views in every direction—it really felt like a peaceful escape from the city, yet it’s so close to Sydney. Alex was extremely helpful and welcoming. It was perfect for our family, including the kids and our dog who absolutely loved the space to run around. Only 8 minutes to the shops and Berowra Waters, where you can enjoy a relaxing coffee and even tried a bit of fishing. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in nature without going too far from home! 9/10

Weekend Trip to Kenzell Farm

We loved camping in this farm. It was so peaceful and clean environment. We had our privacy as each campsite is faraway from each other. The only issue was the signage of each campsite which wasn’t very clear. Overall I highly recommend staying at this site.

Otford Park nr Royal National Park

Otford is a historic village in a valley between Sydney and Wollongong, and bounded by the Pacific ocean. Our private acreage backs onto the southern tip of the Royal National Park, so the outlook from the campsite is all leafy trees. Walk to lookouts over the ocean, hike down to the beach or a few minutes drive to dog friendly beaches. Our bathroom and kitchen facilities make it an easy experience for first time campers. We are well-behaved-dog-friendly BUT you must let us know in advance. Our access track to the camping sites has been repaired with a deep layer of asphalt but still best suited to 4WD. The majority of standard 2WD cars manage the track fine There is also the option of parking roadside, and walking in approx 300m to the sites. Please message us if unsure about your vehicle. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ 1. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog/dogs - we have horses, house dogs, chickens and; wildlife plus likely other campers close by, so need to be forewarned. Dogs must be on lead or contained at all times. 2. If you need to camp out of your 4WD RV (such as a roof top tent), please contact me before booking to ensure those two particular vehicle sites are still available :) and that your vehicle is suitable for our track. Maximum length is approx 5m. Please scroll through the photos to see our amenities and camping sites. 3. We limit the number of people staying at any one time, so weekends book up quickly. That said, due to Covid and weather, people often cancel at the last minute too, so if we are currently booked out, it's always worthile checking again closer to the date for any availability. Forestvale Farm is a working farm and you are welcome to view whatever activities are happening during your visit, or head out beyond the farm gate to visit the Taralga Zoo, stock up on fresh organic produce grown by our neighbours, dine on hearty pub dinners in town, or fish for trout on the Abercrombie River just up the road. Campfires are permitted (subject to prevailing bushfire risk conditions) but please speak to your hosts before lighting one. They must be kept contained and at a reasonable size. Welcome! Lovely to see you here. Our property is located in Arcadia, just 45 minutes from Sydney CBD. The campsite is located on the high side of the property that looks over into the valley & has stunning views of the Berowra National Park. There is a multitude of walking, hiking and mountain bike trails. There are also many nearby horse riding trails. The property backs on to Calabash Creek which is like a rain Forrest once you get down to the valley floor. Berowra waters is near by, whereby many fishing, canoeing, boating activities are available, coupled with some great cafes/restaurants. Campfires are allowed as long as there are no restrictions in place and they are supervised. Pets are welcome and can be off leash, however are the responsibility of their human parents. The property has ample room to accommodate larger groups that might want to hold milestone celebrations such as Birthday parties, whereby all sites will be closed to accommodate such events. Recently Calabash Haven hosted a party of 50 people for 50th Bday celebration. Feel free to inquire to see if we can accommodate your needs. Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure.
