Altamira Along Bakers Creek is a country escape in the heart of the beautiful Mid North Coast. Our property is located just 30 minutes from Gloucester, 50 minutes from the Pacific Highway from Nabiac, 2.5hours from Newcastle and 4/5hours from Sydney.
There are plenty of activities including tennis courts, swimming in the pool, strolling to the creek or sitting by the bar where a pool table and kids toy room are available.
Our property is set on 250 acres of private farming land set in the majestic Wako Mountain Ranges with 50 of these acres being available for camping. We have unpowered campsites walking distance to the creek. Caravans, tents and roof top tents all welcome.
There are free range animals for the kids for the kids to interact with a licensed bar for the adults to have an afternoon drink.
Enjoy access to a communal pool, tennis court, shower and toilet block facilities. There are BBQ’s available for cooking, outdoor communal fireplace and sitting area for your comfort. Please note our drinking water is fed from the creek, you are welcome to purify it or bring your own drinking water.
We have free range animals on our farm and ask that you keep your pets on leash when not at your campsite.

The Back Road Van is a 22 foot Viscount Supreme caravan, circa 1970's, in fairly original condition. Sitting on a 7 acre property in the beautiful Markwell Valley, and only a 7 minute drive from the village of Bulahdelah. (Note : 5kms of sealed road and 2kms of unsealed gravel road from town - suitable for all vehicles.)
The van is decorated to reflect the retro 70s style. Inside it features a ‘cosy’ double bed, with linen provided; a lounge area; plus a small galley kitchen, that includes a toaster, kettle, bar fridge, microwave and a 2 burner electric stove top. There are also added extras such as a selection of teas, coffee with plunger, milk and local free range eggs. (Note : the van does not have a plumbed water supply, but plenty of fresh water is provided. )
The van is covered by a large shelter - including an open seating area with lounge; table and chairs, a breakfast bar; and small gas BBQ.
There is a fire pit which can be used in Winter and Autumn and when fire restrictions allow. We supply all wood for the fire.
It also has its own separate bathroom, with shower, toilet and wash basin. Towels are supplied.
Our Pet Policy.
Your pet is more than welcome at the Back Road Van. Please keep on leash around the property to protect local wildlife.
The space inside the van is NOT suitable for two or more dogs (unless they are a tiny breed).
If guests leave the property for any period, we ask they do not leave their pet alone inside the van.

We loved this camp site. The plots have been well thought out and well spaced out so it has a very relaxed feel. It's such a beautiful place - grass is really well kept (hard to believe it was end of the summer!) and you look out onto a clean edge of the national park with beautiful white gum trees. I loved camping next to the lotus pond. Trevor is a great host and enjoyed introducing us to his very well-behaved dogs ! All in all, we highly recommend this place !

What a beautiful property, quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed. Trevor was super accommodating and the instructions for getting there are really clear. We got to say hi to the horses and whippets and the stars at night were just incredible. Plenty of space between campers so very little noise, and being able to have a campfire was great. A short drive out to Seal Rocks, we will definitely be back!

We made a last minute booking only a few days before the Australia Day weekend and were very happy with the open camping spaces and Trevor (host) was welcoming and we enjoyed meeting all his animals and learning about his whippets. We were away from busy roads and caravan parks but only 30 minutes for Wallingat NP, Seal Rocks and Sugarloaf Lighthouse which has one of the most magical sunsets we’ve seen. This camping grounds would suit large groups of campers that enjoy a quieter (medium noise level) weekend away.

Fantastic place to get away from all the hustle and bustle we call life, have been here multiple times now loved it each time! This is our go to place for a getaway, Jacci & her husband are extremely accomidating and so pleasantly nice they make the experience that much nicer, would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and doesnt mind some furry and feathered friends walking around their camp site. Oh and also there's a pool!

What a beautiful experience at Belly's ❤️ the sites are massive and there's lots of space between other camps. It's a stunning spot 😍 very peaceful and quiet while still being close to shops and cafes etc. I loved the cows, kangaroos and the birds. I would def recommend this place and I will def be back 😊

This is now the second time we have stayed at Belly’s Farm in our caravan with our two dogs. Ian is very friendly and welcoming, meeting you at the gate to direct you to your chosen site. All sites are well spread out for privacy and space and super easy to navigate. You can use your generator if you wish. The farm has kangaroos (many cute joeys too) and cows that just wander around. Although we had rain on the last night the ground did not get soggy. One big ticket item for us is location! Only a couple of minutes drive to the most glorious dog friendly beach. We will be back. Thanks Ian.

Such a great location for a beach side holiday. River Baths & Pilot Beach are our families favourites. Simple paddock area with lots of trees. Belly does a great job keeping everyone separated so you have heaps of room.
