Not too far from here you'll find the the Blow Hole, a deep hole situated in a granite outcrop amongst the open grassland and trees. Rumour has it it's 25m deep and if you stand on the south side you can hear a hollow sound, which indicates there might be a cavern underneath.

Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up.
NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here.
We're located just 5kms north-east of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage.
We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers.
The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep.
Campers must take out what you bring in.
Mobile phone service and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! Completely. We suggest downloading (before leaving home) your Spotify faves and Maps for this area then you can't go wrong.

This is a very large area in an open paddock with good access for caravans and large vehicles. You may well be the only people here though there’s is room for 10 vans. There is a view of the Broken Creek which is close to the property & easily accessible by a short walk.
We’re are a 10 minute drive to Waaia with an excellent pub and the small town of Nathalia which has a supermarket, hotels, fuel, post office, bakery, gift & clothing stores & other businesses.

Tom’s Run is located on the Cobb Highway, 8 kilometres from the town of Deniliquin. The land has been managed through organic farming practices over more than 20 years. We run alpaca and dorper sheep.
The farmland dries off in October, over long, hot summers, and greens up with autumn rain and/or irrigation from April each year. Hot summer days and nights. Winter mornings can begin with a frost.
Deniliquin has many tourist destinations and the Edward River is popular for fishing, swimming and water sports in summer.

This property is absolutely incredible! We were greeted on arrival and given a run down of the facilities (which are beautiful!). The hosts were the best I’ve ever had on a Hipcamp stay. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away to enjoy peace and quiet with ample space. Our kids and dog loved it!

We had the best time at Kerry and Ben’s place. Kerry came to check in on us when we were setting up, and she was very welcoming. She gave us a tip on where to swim in the Murray which was a lovely spot. The camp site was lovely and flat, and we loved the little tub - good for the dog and us on an hot summer’s day. The outdoor shower did not disappoint. It has been well designed with just enough privacy but also an amazing view. We appreciated Kerry and Ben going above and beyond to ensure we had the best trip to Echuca/ Moama. We will be back :)

No. 3 was very lovely, set in a quiet corner of Kerry and Ben's property. The creek was dry when we visited (mid Feb) but we cycled down the creek bed to the Murray for a swim. Great as a base camp with Echuca-Moama and Barmah park nearby.
The shower was an absolute delight to have! There were many small touches that made the site feel comfortable without taking away from the natural beauty.
Have you ever been able to see the milky way while sitting on a flush toilet? This is your chance!

A beautiful spot.
I went Thursday-Saturday and had the whole place to myself the first night. So when I come back a mid week trip will be on the books.
There is a public camping spot not far from the property which did get really busy come the weekend I was there and unfortunately someone was playing super loud music from a neighbouring property on the Friday night until really late.
The boat ramp was a quick walk down the track and a good place to swim as well.
Managed to see wallabies and a goanna during my stay!
The cleanest camping toilets ever I didn’t use the shower but I can imagine it would be great as well.
An amazing spot and an amazing host! I’ll be back.

Had a great 3 night stay on the Maple site. Noel greeted us at the gate, showed us the site, and amenities, inc power, water and a toilet and chatted about Deni and what to do there.
We loved seeing the sheep, cow and horse in the paddock next to us, plus we were only about 3km out of town, which was fantastic.

We had an incredible stay at Murray River Bush Camp and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better setup. The wife and I brought the boat and our dogs, it was exactly the kind of escape we were hoping for.
The location is unreal — peaceful, private, and right on the Murray 2 min walk and you are in the water. Being able to launch the boat easily and spend the days on the river, then come back to a quiet camp surrounded by nature, was a massive highlight. Sunsets by the river were something else.
The camp itself is well maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, giving you plenty of room without feeling crowded. Camp shower and toilets are immaculately clean every day, with honesty donation which we highly recommend paying extra considering how clean Julie and Mick keep it all.
It’s genuinely dog-friendly too, which made the trip even better not having to worry about restrictions or stress — our dogs absolutely loved it.
If you’re looking for soft bush camping experience where you can relax, fish, boat, bring the family (and the dogs), and actually switch off, this place ticks all the boxes. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it without hesitation.

I loved the location and the bush camping environment and the available facilities. The Flushable Toilets, Shower facilities, Proximity to Echuca Town stood out on the list. The host took proactive steps to reduce any fire danger during a Severe Heat Wave by irrigating potentially risky areas of the property. The Space and Privacy available to a camper was quite decent. The property was 3 mins walk to the Murray River but no idea how to reach that. A water cut in the Shower and Utensil Washing Sink around 10.30pm spoilt the access to these facilities for late diners.
The site mimics a bush with flat land for campers who need a quiet rest and isolation from work and other social commitments. There were eucalyptus trees scattered across the site making it shady for campers.
However the ground itself was full of dust thereby causing a dust storm when there were gusts.

We have just had quite possibly the best Hipcamp experience you will ever get. We were greeted on arrival by Teresa who showed us around and provide exceptional customer service. We were fortunate enough to check in early as we were playing golf, this was no issue for Bryan. Over the days we were welcomed like family, drinks by the pool, in the pool were outstanding. A surprise of a toilet and shower were also available..
Bryan and his team made all campers feel welcome and supported and nothing is too much trouble.
The property is outstanding, beautiful trees, green grass and plenty of space. The property can serve as a magnificent party or wedding venue with the immaculate gardens, dam and pool.
No more than 2-3 mins walk to the Murray River where you can enjoy a swim, fish, ski or a sneaky brew or two.
To top it off, Bryan pulled out the guitar around the pool and belted out many tunes. He was accompanied by some incredible young campers as well.
Without a doubt this place was great and we will be back.
We even loved Al's jokes.
What a weekend. Why did it have to end.

We had a great long weekend staying at Campsite 6. There were a few options at Campsite 6 of where to set up and plenty of space for our group to set up 3 camping trailers. Depending on where you to decide to camp the walk to the river is only about 1-3 minutes. There is a flat area to set up a marquee by the river if you wish to spend the day down there. You will need to walk down a steepish embankment to get into the water. Someone has cut stairs into the embankment so that made it a bit easier. You can't walk straight into the water, you need to step down into it and it is rather slippery, so probably not a good choice for those less able-bodied. Our group had a great time, spending most of the very hot days in the river. Tim the host was very friendly helpful, he showed us to our campsite when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again!
