Weekend Trip to Denitom Acres

My families second visit to Noel, once again we enjoyed our stay. He is a great host. My dog loved his big lawn area, not something we have at home. Weather was terrible, but the hedge gave us some protection from the wind. We explored the local area and caught up with friends, so much to do up here ,we will be back.

Had a amazing night at camp site 6. Its so close to river so we just sat our chairs on the bank and watched the wildlife. There is a fire pit with firewood everywhere. We forgot our camping box ! Tim was wonderful and brought his cooking gear down for us to borrow even though it was so late when we realised our forgetfulness. In the morning we caught 4 fish from the river. Tim allowed us to stay all day and make the most of the beautiful river.

Great spot to be away from it all but feel so comfortable. With toilet and shower available, and a short walk to the river the place is ideal. The provided fire pit and being able to buy firewood at a decent price was great. Plenty of room in each site

This is a great camp, I’d highly recommend it. The hosts are great, they’ve done a great job of of keeping the setting as a bush camp but have nice touches to make life easy. Like a water tap, perfect for putting the fire or a quick wash down.

We spent four unforgettable nights here and absolutely loved every moment. The peacefulness and stunning bush surroundings were truly exceptional — waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying the star-filled skies at night made it a truly magical experience. The accommodation was comfortable, well-maintained, and perfectly nestled in the landscape. It was the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family!

Weekend Trip to Tooranie Stay Echuca Moama

We have gone to loads of campsites Australia wide and this is by far one of our favs! So peaceful and secluded with loads of space - perfect for a group camping trip. Kerry was fantastic and great with communicating. Toilet and shower were clean, campfire was amazing, ground was level and perfect for tents and located close to town for when we need to grab something but far enough that it still made you feel like you're right in the outback. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

This was the second time we have stayed at Murray River Bush Camp. We came as a group of 3 vans. We had a great time. The camp fire and the stars were super special. Having the toilets and shower were a bonus. It is close enough to Echuca and far enough to have peace. Definitely recommend. The paddle steamer at Echuca was a great experience too and Dinner at the Gunbower Hotel was a perfect end to a wonderful long weekend.

We had a lovely stay with two other friends. There was loads of room for our 3 vans to set up together. Lovely walks around the property for us and our doggies. Julie was very helpful with lots of local info.

It is a beautiful bush setting with plenty of shade, privacy and flat easy access that is perfect for all camping including tents, camper trailers, camper vans and caravans. There are no set sites as such, you may choose your own camping spot in the bush setting. Enjoy your favourite water activities, swimming, kayaking, fishing or boating. Bike rides and walks along the river. Or just enjoy the bush setting. We are within easy reach of the Torrumbarry boat ramp. Camp fires are allowed in fire drums which are available and fire wood is available in $15 lots. Text Julie for delivery. You may bring your own wood. A toilet and shower is available. Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Barmah National Park. This forest, together with the adjoining Millewa forest, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our property is just 500 meters from the Murray River. From your camp, roughly a 1 kilometre walk through the forest. On our boundary is Backwater Creek, which fills with water when the Murray River is up. NOTE: Creek is often dry. It has water in it after environmental flows of the Murray. This can happen several times a year and the water lasts a few months. If you have any questions about water levels please ask before booking as it might be dry when you're here. We're located just 5kms northeast of Moama, where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. We offer a few large, beautiful, basic bush camping sites (the best kind!) in amongst 50 acres of bushland, with 100's of meters and trees between you and other potential campers. The rest of our property is used for cropping and sheep. Campers must take out what you bring in. Big Bama and No 3 - you'll need to be fully self contained. There is a dump point in Moama. Toilets can be hired from Central Hire in Echuca. They can deliver it for you. Mobile and internet is usually reliable, though with long weekends and summer school holidays the service seems to disappear! *Please feel free to book anyone in your possie that is under 18 as a child.

Our private, riverfront secluded campsites are large and clean. All 6 sites are riverfront with power and fresh water supplied. They are relatively flat, level grass/dirt areas with gum trees peppered throughout the site for shade in summer. We can accommodate any type and size of camping vehicle and 2WDs. Park your caravan or pitch a tent and relax. For fishing and watersport enthusiasts there is access to a boat ramp. From camp there is sloping bank access to the water, steeper in some parts. Guests will have access to a toilet, fire drums and cut your own firewood is available. Please read the Campground conditions of entry: VERY IMPORTANT- this campground features River Gum Trees.
