The rainforest Treehouse is situated in a rainforest pocket of the Mount Warning Caldera, completely surrounded by lush and vibrant nature and sheltered from the outside world, while being just 2 minutes away from us and the comfy road that will take you to an amazing swimming hole, cafés and the nearby town. Once you enter the Treehouse private drive you will feel yourself being transported into a magical world of gently flowing water, natural light, tall trees, chirping birds, rustling leaves, crickets, and frogs. You will notice the energy shift into the safe embrace of our land, protected by Springbrook Mountain. The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek. We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy. As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot. It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world. Now it is here for you to enjoy, to reconnect with your dreams, to dive deep into your childhood playful memories where the world of fantasy and reality merge together. Here you can just be yourself, embraced by nature and view at the world from your Treehouse verandah. THE RED CABIN We are also proud of our very special Red Cabin with its magnificent mountain view. it has been created with dedication and love. And again it is thanks to our daughter this time. She has found the perfect spot for you so you can immerse yourself in nature in the shade of lovely trees, taking flight with the eagles above Springbrook Mountain, lifting up and rejoicing life. The vibrant tantric red colour of the cabin will fill you up with new energy and freshness. it is supplied with clean, luxurious linen and towels. The daring bathroom allows you to bask in a bubble bath while enjoying your favourite beverage watching the stars. That beautiful experience will be enhance by the symphony of the surrounding nature. The cooking and dining area is set up for your highest comfort and equipped with everything you need. There’s so much to explore on our property and in this beautiful region. Warm your feet around the campfire in the evenings as you gaze at the stars above. At the moment we only welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and drinking water. You must have your own amenities. This unique abode, has a relaxed feel on a 5 acre property, close to the Byron town (only 13kms) but far enough away to enjoy the solitude the hinterlands offers with access to wide open fresh air. It consists of a 1964 original vintage caravan, with an open-plan living/dining area, a gorgeous industrial-style bathroom, with a glass ceiling for star gazing & an outdoor fire-pit. The open air living allows guests to feel 100% connected to the natural environment, while at the same time having access to reliable, fast internet along with the comforts of a hot shower, flush loo etc. It is an ideal way to capture the restored feeling from remote camping, without the hassle of taking all your camping gear. Sleeping arrangements: We have a custom-made inner spring mattress that is an unusual size due to the vintage age of the vintage caravan & therefore the size, is in between a King-single & double size width & a queen-size length (which may or may not be big enough for 2 people depending on your sleeping expectations). The actual measurements are: 1.13M wide & 2M long. There is also a separate king single-size bed, on the other end of the caravan, suitable for another adult, a child or two small children. All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is very cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space. The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse We are a pet-friendly property. All sites are within close proximity to a large all-weather shelter perched high on a hill, equipped with solar festoon lighting, a large timber table with chairs and a firepit which all guests are welcome to use, perfect for BBQing under on a drizzly day or enjoying lunch out of the sun. Campfires are welcome and each site is provided with a private firepit for use. You can purchase hardwood for your fire as an add on if you like which will be waiting for you on arrival. Animal lovers welcome. The campgrounds are located on a small hobby farm so you'll enjoy sightings of our highland cows, horses, ponies, free ranging ducks and chickens, donkeys and even our neighbours camels. Turtles are often sighted at the river and if you're lucky you may see the local platypus. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. We have rainwater available at the shared BBQ shelter but this is not potable. Our property is 2WD accessible (paddock base so at your discretion), and can accommodate caravans, campervans, camper trailers. We recommend the Valley View or Hilltop Sites for larger vans or non 4WD vans for ease of access however all sites are accessible for 4WD vans and campers. In wet weather 4WD are recommended as our grounds are a paddock base. This site is prefect for families and travellers who enjoy getting back to nature and soaking in the energy at the base of one of the Three Sisters that bounders Mt Wollumbin. Morinokoe - 'Voice of the Forest'

Morinokoe is a 5 acre 'one planet' lifestyle vision, set in the peaceful, secure, rural residential community of Woombah, bordering the Bundjalung National Park and just 5 minutes drive from famous 'Woody Head' camp ground and Iluka's surf beaches. For paddling and fishing, it's a few hundred metres from a public jetty to the Clarence River and just a few minutes drive to the Esk river (a unique waterway that tracks through the national park). The land itself is 2/3 natural forest, with fruit trees and permaculture inspired garden design and cleared areas with space for parking, playing and camping. The property includes two separate bases for holiday stays: 1) Retro Caravan (morinokoe-ko) The (two room) caravan is basic, but newly renovated with a covered roof allowing for a large outdoor patio area, covered back deck, camp toilet. basic kitchen equipment (cooking on your campfire). There is one power outlet supplied to the caravan, but lighting is provided by solar lights around the site. Access to power is provided at the main house. There's access to a toilet, shower (cold water) and drinking water supply. There is a Jamie Oliver grill for cooking at the table, and a fire pit on hand as well. There are basic cooking implements, cutlery and crockery as well as a large green water tank for washing and drinking. 2) Modern 'eco' house A large (486 m2) open area with an upstairs, fully fly-screened, mezzanine area (lockable) with 3 bedrooms (queen, king single and single). Downstairs there is a dining table, a kitchenette with kettle, toaster, induction cooker (and cookware), a deep bath tub, outside shower area and composting toilet. Drive in to undercover parking and enjoy the (covered) outdoor lounge area around the fire pit. There's easy access to the large veggie garden to pick fresh herbs and greens for your culinary creations! Morinokoe is a place of peace and privacy that provides a balance between convenience, security (friendly neighbourhood) and accessibility and the peace and quiet of being deep in the forest (where you can walk or ride your bike straight into the national park). The cabin is best suited to couples who want to explore byron shire for surfing, horse riding, food and culture or perhaps just site seeing and then have a quiet relaxing private space to come back to after a day out, or would also suit couples with up to 2 children (under 12.) (cabin is only 8x6 metres so not a huge indoor space for 2 kids and 2 adults but loads of space outside to enjoy!) 2 kids under 12 are allowed and pull out single bed mattresses and bedding is provided upon request. families can enjoy a relaxing hobby farm experience n see the horses, collect fresh duck and chicken eggs, possibly spot a koala as we get them often, heaps of possums and other native wildlife passing by to see and hear. Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches. Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches. Board racks for surf boards provided. National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request.
