Wayne was very welcoming & it was so appreciated as i arrived late & tired. The location was very private & quiet & very pretty.

Very peaceful. Yes you can hear the highway traffic all hours but it’s not significant enough to worry you. Lovely hosts. The only negative is the lack of signage. I think the sites should be numbered or named and allocated. The pathways through the bush to the river should also be sign posted, not easy to navigate, i can see visitors getting lost . Would I come back? Definitely

An excellent choice if you want peace and privacy. Amenities were clean, instructions were clear, nothing to complain about. Stars were amazing, the gorge was incredible, and free firewood was the cherry on top. Will definitely be back and soon!

Absolutely loved staying here. The Paddock has plenty of room and well maintained. It had a lovely fire pit set up and lots of firewood to collect. Leanne was so friendly and made the effort to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed and knew where the toilet and firewood was. The toilet was clean and well maintained. The naturewalks were stunning as well. The perfect place to relax and unwind. I’m looking forward to coming back.

We loved staying here! Wayne was the absolute best- so friendly and welcoming. The property was stunning and we loved being surrounded by the animals. 3 nights at Currambene Creek Farm

Vey horse oriented and friendly. This is a fantastic quiet spot, close to highway access. Trees offered great shade and was a grassy camp area. ** If you have horses and float them around THIS is the place for you, for a spell in your travels** Horse float access was good. No fires on site, make sure to take a gas BBQ (and mozzie repellent). Must have a contained toilet. No pets other than horses.

I stayed 9 nights this visit. Very peaceful and great place to recharge. Norrie and Trac lovely and always helpful. Beautiful country side for drives and Gunning RV friendly town has very clean and convenient dump point

'Elouera Vale' Farm

Elouera Vale is a working farm located just outside Mittagong NSW. We breed and train camels for sale, especially into the Southern Highlands. Camels are excellent for weed control and co-grazing with cattle. 'Elouera Vale' also breeds Belted Galloway cattle, Dorper and Wiltipol sheep and donkeys. Our property covers over 140 acres, 80 acres cleared and pasture improved and the rest consisting of forest. The Chain O Ponds creek runs through the property and makes for a lovely walk. You will probably get to see kangaroo, wallaby, wombats, echidnas, koalas and lots of bird life. The lush green hills abound with walking and cycling trails. You can head to the spectacular Nattai Gorge via the Box Vale Mine walking track, an easy 4.4km circular walk that follows an old railway line through a tunnel to breath-taking views. Enjoy a picnic in the magnificent Lake Alexandra Reserve or hike up extinct volcanic peak Mount Gibraltar. The closest shops are approximately a 15 minute drive to the Mittagong Town Centre where you will find all the shops, cafes and restaurants for your needs. Enjoy a pleasant wine tasting experience at Centennial (don’t forget to mention us). The Camel Cottage offers a luxe off-the-grid escape for couples just one hour from Sydney but feels like "miles from anywhere". The Gums Cottage is a fully contained, off-grid modern getaway, surrounded by the magnificent white gum trees that are its namesake.
