Misty Ridge was great. Nice area and lovely setting. It’s particularly great if you want to ride the rail trail - which goes across their driveway. Even after your ride you can sit at camp watching the rail trailers go by!

Lucky enough to have been here on our own but plenty of room had there been other campers. Absolutely stunning views across the dam to the ranges. About a 15/20 minute drive to main shopping centre and literally out the front gate onto the rail trail. We would have stayed on for longer except for the need for internet. Would love to come back again for a couple of days of true downtime. Thanks for having us.

We stayed here for a number of days mainly due to its close proximity to the Rail Trail and Burringbar township. It’s a lovely area to camp, quiet, level and lovely looking over the dam. Would recommend.

Lovely peaceful little spot to spend a few days. Lush green grass and beautiful surrounds. The rail trail crosses at the end of the driveway if cycling is your thing. It's also just a short drive to Murwillumbah, Mullumbimby or Pottsville. We were on tje north side of the little pond/dam so had that area to ourselves. There were other campers on the south side but it's quite a small area overall so complete privacy is not assured unless no one else is staying.
All in all it was a very relaxing few days we spent at Misty Ridge.

This was an amazing getting off grid experience a quiet calm environment - it looks like something out of Yellowstone! Sam was a wonderful host ensuring we had everything we needed and giving helpful information about his property. With a flushing toilet and a crystal clear Dam to swim in we had an awesome time booked for one night stayed for 6!

If you’re travelling with a caravan, I’d suggest the south side. It’s pretty easy to park and get your caravan out. Plus, it’s a beautiful, quiet spot right by the pond, and the property is well-maintained.

Beautiful location next to a little stream and some very picturesque paddocks.
The paddock we were in was certainly a little overgrown and rugged but this was also the kind of "wild" vibe we were after - perfect for us, but maybe not for everybody.
Phone reception was also very patchy but again, we didn't book a camping trip to sit on our phones.
The communication betwen Jon & his family was great and they came down to deliver some firewood and have a nice little chat.
Great place, great people, great times.
...despite getting caught in the worst storm I've ever experienced in my life. Hopefully future campers have a bit more luck with the weather.
