We stayed for two nights at the Big Dam Camp Site and it was absolutely beautiful. Anna’s hospitality was incredible — she went above and beyond during our stay, and I would 100% recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back! 🥰 We forgot our gas bottles and all the firewood was wet, but Anna helped us out and even lent us her own gas bottle. We’re so thankful for such an amazing host! The campsite we chose had a little dam with a kayak, was extremely private, and was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway!

We stayed at the Family Tree camp. It was a beautiful spot next to a running creek. Host was wonderful, greeted us at the front, Anna and her two gorgeous dogs escorted us to our camp. The camp itself was quiet, secluded and felt like there was no body around! Level ground with an amazing view of the mountain. Cattle in the distance and overall just an incredible property. Not much else you can ask for. Definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here!!

We had an incredible stay at Big Dam Camp, Tweed Valley (Doon Doon Farm). The views were absolutely stunning, and the sense of isolation made it feel like our own private piece of paradise. Please note: Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure.
