With the added bonus of Jetty, boat ramp and beach areas for you to utilise at your leisure. Grady's is a pet friendly Retreat and we also allow campfires. We strongly believe these few extra things are essential to create a true camping experience. The park grounds are well maintained throughout the year. The amenities are fresh and cleaned daily. Our primary purpose here is horse agistment, with four horses currently on the farm, along with 12 lovely chickens that free range during the day. The farm is a beautiful haven to take a stroll and explore, enjoy a peaceful breakfast in the gentle mornings, or sit and enjoy wine and cheese at the end of the day as the sun goes down. We are located 15 minutes from the local beaches and a little bit further to get to the Huskisson township with the famous Husky pub, 5 Pigs Cafe, and various other restaurants and cafes.

Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife. Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, climbing gear, horse riding gear, or tennis racquet, and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks. If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the Brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet, Platypus and the Yellow-bellied glider. We only have two campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace and privacy. However, due to the demand for that site and that all people who have stayed have loved the experience, I am going to open up a few more sites over the course of 2024. You will always however have lots of space and privacy. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available. Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road and there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong site but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers. A quiet location less than two minutes off the Princes Highway, located halfway between Ulladulla and Nowra on the NSW South Coast (approximately 3 hours from Sydney and Canberra). Camping is available on lush green paddocks or under the trees, a short walk from the creek. We enjoy plenty of birdlife, wallabies, and wombats (keep an eye out at dusk). Guests will enjoy solitude and space, but please be aware that other groups may be visible. There are no restroom facilities here, so guests must be self-sufficient, take rubbish, and leave no trace. We have cows, chickens, and a pig. There are a wide variety of local activities to enjoy. National parks surround us for four-wheel driving, motorbiking, mountain biking, hiking, and climbing. We are also within 30 minutes of numerous beaches. It is a beautiful, quiet, and secluded spot to spend your next weekend or just overnight while passing through. No groups Fires are allowed, and firewood is available (cut/collect your own). We are pet-friendly and love our pets, too, but please ensure they are well-behaved and leave the animals and wildlife alone. Things to note: There is little phone reception (mostly none). 2WD is generally fine unless it gets very wet. Bring a pest repellent. Wombat holes do extensive damage to unsuspecting vehicles. Snakes (black and brown). Bee hives (keep clear or be stung). Beware of tree stumps.

Guests will have access to a portable toilet throughout their stay but will need to have their own water and all other supplies. Yerrinbool hobby Farm

Yerrinbool is 1 hour from Sydney and a great spot to spend a weekend away, 15 mins from Bowral and 10 mins to Mittagong There are animals on the farm including ducks, chickens, goats, sheep and sometimes even baby cows. The property does need a little clean up but the rear of the property is nice and tranquil. We are directly next to the HWY so sometimes there is road noise, but it's a great location for an easy stopover. Easy access for caravans, keeping in mind the weather as like in all areas it becomes soft when wet. Please note, while we do permit more than one car per site booking, we only allow 1 caravan per site. So if you are in a group with more than 1 caravan, you will need to book multiple sites. Any questions, please let us know. We have Fire Pits in key locations around the farm PLEASE DO NOT move them as they signify each spot for camping. They have allocated spots and we do not need them moved. We also have a toilet in a small cabin close to the house for people who are using tents and water if you're required to fill your tanks or rinse off. We have two dams with yabbies you are welcome to collect. If you do collect some please be respectful in the amounts you collect and also throw some raw meat and or frozen veggies like peas and corn into the dam to provide food for the others to grow. Firewood is available to purchase at time of booking - see Extras.

Grady’s Riverside Retreat was first established in 1979. The retreat is located 20 minutes west of Nowra and is set on 17 secluded acres on the banks of the beautiful Shoalhaven River, surrounded by natural bushland, mountains, cliffs and dairy pastures. This makes Grady’s Riverside Retreat an ideal place to bring your friends and family to relax, unwind and enjoy the scenery. Grady’s has over 500 metres of direct access to the Shoalhaven River. The river is deep and also is title which means we have a large variety of fresh and saltwater fish that inhabit these waters. Majority of our well maintained grassy sites are located along the river or have uninterrupted river views. With the added bonus of Jetty, boat ramp and beach areas for you to utilise at your leisure. Grady's is a pet friendly Retreat and we also allow campfires. We strongly believe these few extra things are essential to create a true camping experience. The park grounds are well maintained throughout the year. The amenities are fresh and cleaned daily. If you are the adventurous type there are many activities to offer in the vicinity such as canoeing, fishing, swimming, bushwalks, 4WDriving, bike riding, jet skiing, water skiing and much more Come and enjoy our absolute riverfront camping accommodation. Secluded camping sites are available on request (subject to availability) We also have powered camp sites and Riverview cabins and cottages available. The picturesque banks of the Shoalhaven River play host to the perfect escape from the burdens of city life. Only 2 hours from Sydney but feels like a world away. Amongst the trees and under the clear blue sky, sit around your campfire and allow yourself the time to reflect, reconnect, and revel in nature's abundance. At Tomerong Forest, you'll find 600 acres of private native forest with an abundance of wildlife, welcoming self-contained campers to immerse themselves in nature. You'll be camped just 15 minutes drive from Huskisson, Hyamms Beach, and St George's Basin - a great location if you want laid-back bush camping, but also crave a restaurant meal and a swim in the beautiful waters of Jervis Bay. It is isolated from the overcrowded tourist parks and offers great secluded camping. At the right time, you will literally not see another human for days if that is your wish! At the current moment, a 4WD is essential to access the property. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and take all waste when they go. So if you are tired of that 6 metre x 6 metre tent site and don't want to hear the guy next door coughing and snoring, or if you just want to only hear the sound of the breeze through the trees, come and stay a few days or a week or longer if you wish. Seclusion this accessible from Sydney is a rare commodity. Pets are welcome, but please keep them under control as we value the wildlife. Sorry, no cats for that particular reason.

Kookaburra is a small farm on 20 acres. A quiet location less than two minutes off the Princes Highway, located halfway between Ulladulla and Nowra on the NSW South Coast (approximately 3 hours from Sydney and Canberra). Camping is available on lush green paddocks or under the trees, a short walk from the creek. We enjoy plenty of birdlife, wallabies, and wombats (keep an eye out at dusk). Guests will enjoy solitude and space, but please be aware that other groups may be visible. There are no restroom facilities here, so guests must be self-sufficient, take rubbish, and leave no trace. We have cows, chickens, and a pig. There are a wide variety of local activities to enjoy. National parks surround us for four-wheel driving, motorbiking, mountain biking, hiking, and climbing. We are also within 30 minutes of numerous beaches. It is a beautiful, quiet, and secluded spot to spend your next weekend or just overnight while passing through. No groups Fires are allowed, and firewood is available (cut/collect your own). We are pet-friendly and love our pets, too, but please ensure they are well-behaved and leave the animals and wildlife alone. Things to note: There is little phone reception (mostly none). 2WD is generally fine unless it gets very wet. Bring a pest repellent. Wombat holes do extensive damage to unsuspecting vehicles. Snakes (black and brown). Bee hives (keep clear or be stung). Beware of tree stumps.

The best camp spot close to Huskisson! We have grass paddock, located just 2 minutes from Vincentia market place. We have 8 acres but keep 3 acres only for campers . We are 5 minutes from Huskisson's beautiful beaches. Courtesy bus from local clubs will pick up from the front gate. Guests will have access to a portable toilet throughout their stay but will need to have their own water and all other supplies. Free use of fire pits (weather permitting & first in first served policy we have 8 fire pits) We also have firewood fresh farm eggs & bagged ice for sale. Sorry, no pets. Have updated our cancellation policy as when we have confirmed bookings in peak times quiet a few people we stop taking bookings from other's.
