Weekend Trip to Glennbrooke River Camp

What a spot! Did not disappoint. Great big site right in the river, sound of bellbirds, awesome big fire pit. Definitely worth getting the trailer full of wood. Excellent value 👍 we didn’t leave our site for the 3 nights. Kids fished, lots of room to set up badminton. We were lucky enough to be the only ones there. Lush green grass. Very friendly hosts. Will definitely be back. We have a large rig and had no trouble on the road in or getting down to the river. Thank you for sharing your wonderful property.

Weekend Trip to Millingandi Station

Conveniently located on the Highway close to Pambula with easy access to all nearby towns and attractions. Sites easily accessible.

7 nights at Millingandi Station

Jodie was a wonderful, friendly host who was flexible and thoughtful and helped us change to a site that suited us better. They had a you beaut veggie patch that they share with campers-yum. Toilet was basic but clean and smell-free. It is near the highway but we really did not notice the traffic while ww enjoyed the beautiful views and soaked up some winter sun. The river frontage sites are not powered and are shady and quite soggy after dome rain so not ideal for us. The paddock was very good. Milli their Jack Russel terrier was a delightful visitor with great manners who visited and played with our puppy for several hours a day. I highly recommend this place. PS no showers is a slight disadvantage in cooler months but a dip in cold ocean is a very refreshing alternative. Very close to Pambula and Merimbula and beautiful beaches

2 nights at Glennbrooke River Camp

Wow, what a stunningly beautiful campsite right on Billa Bilba creek which is really a tidal river. We had total privacy and it was so quiet, only sound was the wind through the trees and the occasional fish jumping out of the water. We even had a swim in the river. Nice and close, easy drive into stunning Narooma. Try out the Narooma pub pizzas - delicious and a great view too. Glenn and Brooke were perfect hosts. Highly recommend.

Jodie’s land was in a super convenient location, making it easy to get to and a great base for exploring the area. The price was incredibly affordable—great value for money! One of the best parts was getting a huge load of firewood for just $25, which kept us warm and made for a perfect campfire experience. Jodie was also a very friendly and welcoming host, which made the stay even better. Highly recommended.

We have stayed here before and really enjoyed it here. It is close to everything and is a very pleasant and attractive spot to camp. We particularly like it as we can have a fire and you are not crammed in next to one another. Would definitely recommend

Weekend Trip to Wolumla Bush Camp

I loved it here. The views from the campsite are beautiful. There is the “Dunny”, a fire pit and plenty of firewood. Dave and Julie were very welcoming and the most helpful, friendly people. They went out of their way to help and it was so much appreciated. My dog was in his element being allowed to explore off lead, it was sensory overload! If you are looking for a peaceful piece of paradise to stay, with Merimbula and Pambula close by, I recommend this place. Thanks Julie…and Dave…you are a legend!

1 night at Sapphire Coast Dairy-Homestead

I’ve stayed here three times now, and this time I brought my family. it never disappoints. The property has such a peaceful, freeing atmosphere that instantly helps you unwind. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the stay even more special. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and it’s the perfect place to escape from busy city life. Sleeping under the stars here is magical , you won’t find a better spot for it. I loved the outdoor bath under the sky, and the hot showers were a great comfort after a day spent exploring. Being on a working dairy farm added to the charm. Watching the cows and soaking in the quiet rhythm of farm life was so grounding. Their friendly dog, Bailey, even came up last night and sat with me in my swag, such a sweet and comforting moment. To top it off, we made s’mores by the fire, with the smell of wood smoke in the air. It doesn’t get much better than that. Can’t wait to come back again.

Great location if you’re into paddle boarding, kayaking or fishing or like to be around a fantastic variety of birdlife. It’s only a 10min drive to fabulous beaches for swimming, surfing, beach walking and there’s even a great dog beach nearby. The communal veggie garden is wonderful and very generous. Our second time here and we’ll be back!

2 nights at Wolumla Bush Camp

We loved our stay at Wolumla bushcamp. They only take 1 booking for their site so you have all the views to yourself. Dave dropped in for a chat and a beer and gave some recommendations about things to see and where to eat. The view across the valley is stunning and the kangaroos are good company. We would definitely stay again at this fantastic spot.

Really excellent camping spot with plenty of room, right on the water. Up there with some of the best we have stayed at and we have stayed at plenty. Brooke is very helpful and readily available if needed for anything. We will certainly visit again.

Lovely camping in the grassed Paddock, lots of sun, water available and composting toilet which does NoT smell. Nice walk to river and jetty to fish from. SLSC boat full of veggies and herbs and tomotoes growing around the trees. Close to Pambula and other nearby towns. Definitely stay again.

Absolutely stunning location - beautiful views and the peaceful sound of fish jumping. Had the best time as a base to SUP. Brooke was super responsive, and the wheelbarrow load of wood was generous!! Would absolutely love to stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful spot.

WOW WOW WOW, My Husband, myself and our Border Collie spent 2 beautiful nights at Glennbrook Campground our Host Brooke was amazing giving us perfect easy instructions to the camp and when we arrived Brooke and the family was so lovely and friendly, we then were guided to our site and didn't want to leave. Camped right on the river, fabulous fire pit, thought have a bit of fun trying fishing and FISH ON !!! a tad small let her go, also watched a kangaroo swim across the river in front of us. We had a dip in the river which was lovely and refreshing this was 5th May 25. The Property is gorgeous the sites are level and spacious, we got our Hyundi Staria van there no problem. Overall, a very special and magical place to unwind and enjoy, thank you for sharing your beautiful property ....we will see you again soon. 10/10 and more. Amanda

Bunga Summit

Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. 1000 acres of bushland, private campsite only 3km from the Snowy Mountains Highway. Good mobile coverage. Lots of wildlife. Campfires permitted. Potable water available. No toilet or amenities. 4WD is best but not absolutely necessary, a small low clearance car won't be suitable. Pets allowed but be aware it is a running cattle farm and it's expected that you know your pets whereabouts at all times. At 1200 metres elevation it is often colder than the surrounding areas and sometimes very foggy. A second site is available near our house at the "hayshed". Let's say you're travelling between Bega and Cooma or Bombala, it's getting late and you need a spot to spend the night which is safe and you can plug into power. Next morning buy some fresh eggs, have breakfast, check your vehicle over, top up a bit of water and back to the main highway in a few minutes.

TheBlueAcre Efarm is a developing hobby farm which is set on 32 acres. Located less then 10 minutes drive to Candelo and 25 minutes to Merimbula or Bega. Enjoy a 360 degree view of the valley while taking in the morning sun rise or sunset while spotting some of the local wildlife and farm animals. Pitch your tent or park your van in a private location and enjoy the breathtaking views the valley has to offer. Some sites are on a steeper setting more suited to tents or small campers. There are no amenities here, campers must be self contained and leave no trace. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the farm animals while enjoying the country side or explore the Bega valley. Visit the famous Candelo market held on the first Sunday of every month or enjoy a fresh coffee and delicious food at the Candelo cafe with the general store is just next door.

Our property lies in the hinterland of Bermagui and features partially cleared, rolling hills and mountains of bush. Pets and kids are welcome. We own friendly dogs. We are rebuilding after the bushfires. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. The campsite has access to drinking water. No bins here please take your rubbish with you. Enjoy hanging around the campfire, cooking a meal or toasting marshmallows. We have firewood available. You dont need a 4WD to access the campsite. Vehicle and tent campers welcome. We are located about 30 minutes to the coast and the township of Bermagui. It's a good spot for fishing, prospecting, swimming, cafes and adventures, and you can get all the supplies you need in town. You are welcome to bring dirt bikes and boats to use in the region.

Outstanding bush walking, kayaking, swimming, mountain biking and fishing spots nearby. Happy to advise you on beautiful places to visit near us.
