Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Sara 0435 614 243 Please be respectful of neighbours and do not fly drones over private property.

Our property is dog friendly for well-behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs. Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley, an area traditionally inhabited by the Yuin people. Roa is a working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is largely surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park. It is a 35 minute drive to the beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly Jersey cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets. We cater for small groups who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce traffic and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site. One additional vehicle per site can be organised, however we need at least 72 hours notice.

There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. We have two spring fed creeks that meet at the front of the property in front with a swimming hole, we are surrounded by National Parks, pristine beaches and the beautiful Nethercote Falls is only 5 minutes up the road. Close to two sweet coastal towns, Eden 7minutes and Pambula 15minutes drive. Lots of bird and insect life along with our little herd of sheep and geese. We are currently developing permaculture systems for our home and garden and part of the system is we have a composting toilet for campers! We love animals and we are happy for you to bring your dog only if it is friendly with other dogs because we have 4 friendly dogs here. As long as you keep your dog on a lead as we have livestock. Please contact us prior to discuss dog situation. We have a fire pit and firewood for sale. The camp sites overlook the creek and we are on a sealed road for easy access.

Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley, an area traditionally inhabited by the Yuin people. Roa is a working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is largely surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park. It is a 35 minute drive to the beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly Jersey cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets. We cater for small groups who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce traffic and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site. One additional vehicle per site can be organised, however we need at least 72 hours notice.

Absolutely beautiful farm and camp site! The Camp by the Dam site was private, peaceful, scenic and sheltered from the wind, with views over the dam. We experienced a lot of wildlife (wallabies, kangaroos, lizards, frogs, horses and heaps bird life). We spotted kookaburras, nectar eaters and two different kinds of Kingfisher birds (if you enjoy birdwatching, I recommend taking binoculars!). It was the perfect spot for our dog to be primarily off lead and she absolutely loved it, with plenty of space to run and play. We had the entire farm to ourselves for our three night stay, and even if other campers had been on site, it still would have been very private. Waking up to bird song was absolutely delightful. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were great to have access to, within a short distance walk. The kitchen has a small fridge, microwave and washing up facilities, dining table, air conditioning and power points to recharge our power bank for our phones. There were plenty of communal areas which would be perfect for group events (large outdoor dining area/table and chairs, fire pit, beautifully landscaped spaces, events building with large kitchen, dining and lounge area). There were recycling and general rubbish bins, and toilet paper was provided. We ordered a wheelbarrow of wood for our three night stay which was more than enough for our time there and was ready on site for our arrival. We can't wait to book our next visit! Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Merimbula Camping. The bush scenery was lovely and the wombats were hilarious and cute. They liked my caravan and used it as a backscratcher at various times in the night. I then put solar lights around so they mostly stayed away. I loved seeing them in the paddock each night - gentle and quiet. There are many other spacious and beautiful sites with drum fireplaces. The toilets were fine. Hot showers available up at the house. Excellent location just out of town . Water available (bring jerries) on site but you can also get it near town on the Bega Rd out. Dump point available in Pambula a few kms away. Great camping - I’ll be back Meredith !

It was a stunning location. It had one of the clearest rivers I have ever seen. We felt completely secluded in our own private oasis. The kids loved waking up to the sound of the cows mooing on our doorstep. There was plenty of wildlife to view and plenty of space to explore. Anthony gave great direction and also met us at the gate to guide us to the camp-site. He was a great host and even provided plenty of fire wood.

Hicklam Grange camp is located on 25 acres surrounded by farmland which once formed part of the historic Kameruka Estate. The quiet town of Candelo is a simple 10 minute drive away where there is a pub, cafe, general store, petrol station, homewares store and markets which are held on the first Sunday of every month from 8.30am. If beach side is what you are after both Merimbula and Tathra are approximately 30 minutes away, or a 25 minute drive will take you to Bega, home of the famous Bega Cheese factory. Upon entering Hicklam Grange, you will drive past the main house and continue to the end of the property to the camp hut and unpowered sites. You will notice some chook pens along the way, and if they have been kind, farm fresh eggs may be purchased along with some local home made jams, pickles and relish. Hicklam Grange Camp offers an undercover area with a kitchen, shower, and toilet. The kitchen has a bbq, cooking utensils, and crockery for use. fridge/freezer available. The hut has doors which can be closed to make use of the indoor fireplace and protection from wind if need be. The water used on site is the same as the main house, and has been collected from the creek that borders the property. Guests can gain access to the creek via a gate at the base of the camp kitchen grounds and a short walk along a mown track. Water from the taps may be used for washing up but should be boiled before use when cooking or making tea and coffee. It is recommended to bring your own drinking water. The campsite provides several cleared areas that are first in best dressed; whether it be near the camp kitchen and amenities, next to existing fire pits, or a little further away for some extra privacy. Camping is not permitted within the fenced area where the camp kitchen and amenities are located. Small campfires are permitted in designated areas, when restrictions aren't in place and a communal fire pit is also available in front of the hut. Firewood may be collected around the property, or alternatively is available for purchase under Extras. A large bonfire has been set up on site, but is not to be used as this is set for a yearly family event on the property. Many farm animals are on the property such as sheep, goats, chooks, ducks, geese, dogs, and cats. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash as the property is also home to wildlife such as rabbits, wombats, echidna, possums and native bees. All vehicle types can access the property, and is suitable for Tents, Campers, and Vans with good access for 2WD and caravans.

Space, privacy, wilderness, quiet. Stunning views across the Bega Valley, looking over the culturally significant sites of Biamanga and Guluga. A beef farm, with significant ecological diversity. You will be surrounded by wildlife - wallabies, wombats, and echidnas, with a vast array of bird life. Our cows are raised to be super friendly, perfect for children to pat and hand feed. We also have horses that will wander by hoping for an apple or carrot. Walk through native woodland forests, enjoy the views, and if you have a four wheel drive explore down to our fresh water creek deep in the valley. The most accessible camping locations are along the private bitumen road that winds across the hilltops, providing easy access. Other locations can be chosen, that are tucked away in the wilderness. The beach is half an hour away, and you can catch glimpses of the ocean (just) from various places on the farm. The night sky is breathtaking, with no light pollution, and the quiet (other than the wildlife) is serene. We love guests and look forward to hosting you and your family.

Come and enjoy an exclusive bush campsite on the outskirts of the historic village of Wolumla, between Bega and Merimbula on the Far South Coast NSW. The small township of Wolumla is within walking distance and consists of a great pub and a general store. A short drive further you'll find Candelo, which has its own pub and general store as well as a showground and the country markets held the first Sunday of each month. Merimbula is 10 mins away with great cafes and shops and beautiful beaches. Campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Campers are welcome to have a contained campfire, either BYO firewood or collect from the ground. There is plenty to see and do in the area including exploring the nearby National Parks including Bournda and Beowa. Surfing,fishing,sup/kayaking,mountain bike riding and bushwalking/hiking all within close proximity. The property is located 3kms from the small town of Bodalla, it is just over 100 acres sitting on the banks of Lake Borang (which flows into the Tuross River and Tuross Lake) and the fishing is great all year round. It's also a fantastic waterway for boating and paddling. The property is mainly bush with lots of wildlife including emus, wallabies, kangaroos and the birdlife is abundant. Part of the property is a working goat and bee farm. We move the goats around the property so there will be times when the goats are close to the campsite.
