Welcome to a sweet and soulful little piece of the woodlands. Tucked in on 4.5 acres, this spot is a secluded, enchanting piece of old Florida. Stay in one of our three designated camping sites, tie up a hammock, gaze at the pond inhabitants****, and check out what's growing in the seasonal garden. Also enjoy the many flowering plants and other special trees. Florida's gem-colored, healing spring waters are just a 20 minutes up the way and local retreat centers and yoga studios dot the area. Gator fans? Head into Gainesville for a game and to visit the University of Florida. Mostly, enjoy. We look forward to hosting you! To note for all guests: We suggest arriving before dark so as to make set up easy and comfortable. We do not require a formal check-in and encourage being self-reliable in set up of primitive campsites. (For something with more structure and a space already set up, check out our Aframe cabin.) We do have water, a composting toilet, sink, and groundtemp shower for your use. *****Due to severe drought this year, we have lost the pond. We are still open for camping, but please note the pond is not as pictured. Thanks for your understanding during this tough time for our water table.******

RV/tent site · Sleeps 4 · Vehicles under 20 ft
Our most secluded and largest primitive site located just beyond the garden. Up to three midsize tents can fit here easily and there are lots of trees for hammocks. This is our favored site for larger groups or for those who like greater privacy. This site also has its own fire pit and table so no need to share the main pit with others if quiet is what you desire. Water is located at the garden. Visitors have praised the peaceful surroundings, the charming interactions with farm animals, and the convenience of amenities like clean bathrooms and an outdoor shower. The sourdough bread and fresh goats milk come highly recommended, adding a unique touch to your stay. Most campers appreciate the proximity to nature and the attentiveness of the hosts, although some noted the pond may be dry during certain seasons.

What an amazing place. I loved my time at Wildflower Pond. I stayed at the bragging eagle spot and it was perfect for me as I was camping solo, though it’s enough space for at least two, maybe three tents. Perfect amount of shade with the feeling of being in the woods alone. They offer sourdough bread and fresh goats milk and I highly recommend both, specifically the cinnamon raisin sourdough. Yum yum yum. Let them know in advance if you want it the day you arrive because it’s fresh and takes two days to make. It is so good I ordered one to take home, and I usually don’t eat bread! They are great with communication and a pleasure to have a quick chat with. I highly recommend this space.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Pileated place for a couple of days and it was such a sweet getaway. Allie was so kind and thoughtful, the amenities were all clean- Allie thought of everything we could possibly need. The garden is beautiful, we woke up to horses and a donkey on our last morning was the best surprise! 🥰
