Crater of Diamonds State Park is a little slice of wilderness paradise with some classy camping and unique opportunities for the wholehearted adventurer. The most unique discovery at the park is by far the diamond field, an old volcanic crater where you can hunt for diamonds. Yup, actual diamonds! There’s sweet stones like jasper, quartz, and agates too, and what you find you get to keep—a rad souvenir from Mother Nature herself. There’s plenty of hiking in the park, a water park that will cool off campers of all ages, and the bass fishing on the Little Missouri River is impeccable. Some serious campsites mean you can stay until you uncover that big carat find. Big adventure or small, you’ll shine bright at Crater of Diamonds!
