Chad and Monica moved from the metro phoenix area to Willcox Arizona in the summer of 2015 with the goal of starting a vineyard and winery and living a simpler life in the country. Since moving to Willcox they have cleared 50 acres and planted over 6000 grape vines with more to plant coming soon. They fell in love with the spectacular views, the wildlife and the people. With spectacular sunrises and sunsets  and clear night skies its a beautiful place to live and visit. With a working vineyard and winery you can walk from your camp and buy a bottle of wine or just enjoy a glass on the large deck located at the tasting room that over looks the grain field and silos, orchards and vineyards. There is incredible history that surrounds the area including: Cochise and Geronimo's battle grounds against the US Calvery, the Butterfield Stagecoach routes and pony express trails, The battle of the OK Coral with the Earp Brothers nearby. Birds and Barrels Vineyards is located within one of the only two American Viticulture Areas(AVA's)  in Arizona. With over a dozen other wineries within a short drive, it makes for a enjoyable experience with family and friends.Learn more about this land:Located in the heart of Arizona Wine Country, the campsites over look the vineyard to the west and is surrounded by orchards and grain fields. Spectacular views of the Chiricahua's and Dos Cabezas Mountains. At 4300 feet cool evenings and warm days can be expected. Beautiful sunsets in the afternoons with crystal clear skies at night for star gazing abound. Hiking and biking are near by. Lots of Western History all around the area. Plenty of bird watching and wildlife to view. Within walking distance of the onsite winery /tasting room with many others near by.

Bakers Akers is located in what used to be Nebblett New Mexico but is now Virden New Mexico. The one room Nebblett school house was located on this property. Virden was settled by the Mormons when they were ran out of old Mexico by Poncho Villa. Kit Carson took this route guiding General Kearney and the Army of the west to California during the Mexican American war. It is now being discussed that Coronado may have come through this area also. The farm was used for breeding and training race horses. It is now a cow/calf operation. Learn more about this land: Camp on the Gila River amongst the century old Cottonwoods and Mulberry trees, with Bermuda grass carpeting. Plenty of shade to pitch a tent or park under. Wildlife abounds with deer, beaver, turkeys, javelina, and a large variety of birds. Located on a eighty acre cattle ranch. Quiet with great views of stars at night and majestic mountains in the day. The camp grounds are located beyond the cattle pastures and next to the Gila River. Fire pits available and plenty of wood to gather for burning. Eleven miles from the historic town of a Duncan Arizona, filled with little markets, craft store, antique shop, rock shop, and home town restaurants, if any needs arise or an itch needs scratching. With prior notice and extra fees a New Mexican dutch-oven dinner and hayride can be included.

I am pretty flexible and have few rules other than don't litter, dont bother others, keep the noise down, dont pee or defecate on property. I pretty much leave you to your own devices so you hve the privacy and freedom to enjoy the space without feeling restricted by the owner's presence. I aim to always keep the space affordable so please help me out by causing no damage so I wouldn't need to increase cost for maintenance purpose. To keep cost low, I offer no hookups (there is public toilet 5 minutes drive away you can use whenever you wish), only plain land for you to enjoy. So my low price to help you out is: Daily: $9 per day 1-3 Months: $189 per month 3+ Months: $150 per month 1 year+: $100 per month The Area: Diamond Land is located in an off-grid section outside of the historical and beautiful city of Willcox, Arizona. It is a great place for an Arizona vacation or a night or two when passing through. Campers can look forward to a cozy, quiet, desert setting filled with fresh air and wide-open skies. Southeast Arizona is famous for its majestic sunrises and sunsets. We are not very far from Keiller Park and Recreation area, which features a swimming pool and is a well-known spot for nature enthusiasts to explore, hike or bike. Willcox has a movie theatre, featuring current releases, and a few other interesting places to explore by those seeking a bit of night life. Willcox is the home of The Rex Allen and Marty Robbins Museums, wine tasting, and is the gateway to Fort Bowie Historical Site, and the Magnificent Chiricahua monument and mountain range, which are popular spots for cultural and historical exploration. Many guests visit the multiple Vineyards and Apple Annie's Orchard (April to October) to enjoy the seasonal fruits of the land. Diamond Land is set on .25 acres, allowing sufficient space for you to have privacy, excercise, walk, and just enjoy your camping area.
