We absolutely loved our stay here. We did tent camping for one night and brought all our own equipment and water. Laurie and Scott were so welcoming and made us feel right at home on their gorgeous property. They were very responsive to all my questions ( and believe me, I had a lot during these unusual circumstances). They made sure we felt safe and had everything we needed during our stay. I enjoyed ALL their amazing animals, and this was the perfect place to get away from the city. Their property is available in different sections. They have a spot for RV's and then various spots for camping with a tent. Everything about this place was exactly what you need for a weekend getaway and it is not too far from Paonia so you can visit the little town. I can't recommend this place enough, I loved it so much. The owners, the views, and the charm will absolutely bring me back to this place!

Sage View Ranch was a great camping spot for us on Memorial Day weekend. Laurie and Scott were awesome hosts. The community vibe, farm feel, and location were great. Highly recommend.

We really appreciate you and your friends staying here at Sage View Ranch during our reopening weekend. So glad you had a good time. Thank you for your input and feedback. The shower curtain hook is in and we are looking into a seasonal outdoor sink option :) #teamworkmakesthedreamwork

I loved staying at Sage View Ranch! We rented several tent sites and there was plenty of room. The views from the tent sites were fantastic and there was good access to the property and a two-minute walk from where we parked to camp. The #2, 3 & 4 campsites feel private from the others and we couldn’t see the neighbors.

It feels like the hosts have put a lot of work into making a fun place to visit. The composting toilet was clean and didn’t even smell. The hosts have cats & dogs but they stayed down near the parking/fire pit area. My friend met the goats and we left with some fresh milk and eggs, which I really appreciated.

It’s a 20 minute drive into the national forest for some star gazing and we also made day trips to Grand Mesa, Dominguez Canyon, and the Black Canyon.

Mouse the cat was very curious about our dinner menu. The views are great. The sage smelled fantastic too.We fit a hammock and two 2P tents at the Thyme campsite- though it’s safer to assume the camp sites each hold one tent.Jumbo Mountain is a nearby attraction, we also visited the national forest several times for hikes and stargazing.
