Amenity limitations - The cellular service is intermittent in our area. No Wifi.The bathroom/ shower is a separate building, a short walk from the camping area.Our shower has been having issues with hot water so if you need to use it let us make sure the water heater is still lit. (its propane).
Potential for noise - farm noises, ATV are used on the property, horses, cows, dog (we discourage barking but it happens) Kids playing, ect...

Great experience. Would visit again. Could see staying for longer. Homestead life on the Kenai at its truest. Wonderfully sincere, genuine, hardworking family that affords you a slice of their land, their heritage and their incredible views of the Bay and beyond. If you are visiting Homer, you should schedule time to stay at Lazy J Ranch.

Was visiting from Oregon and I really wanted to show her our beautiful state and she was in heaven - every morning she woke up and said she wished she could live here. I really recommend renting the ‘wall tent’ it is absolutely perfect!
Great place to pitch a tent with beautiful views. Vikki greeted me and was very helpful with directions and overall welcoming. The community bonfire pit is very cool.
The farm is absolutely beautiful!!! Vicky the host and her family are so very friendly and helpful. They even invited us to their family get together/bbq. We really enjoyed our stay at Lazy J.
