Bring your kayak or canoe along on your trip to Bowery Creek Rec Site 'cause it's practically located on the shores of its namesake. Opportunities for fishing are abundant here, and you may enjoy cruising through U-25, named the Fishlake Scenic Byway for its high volume of reservoir and lake sightings. With hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing, what more do you need out of a campground?

We camped here at the end of August and it was extremely quiet. This campground had a ton of sites and is not normally where we would stay, but it was a family affair. It turned out great. The sites were pretty small, but very picturesque. Because people in our party had RV's, we camped close to the bottom of the hill. It was easy walking to the dock (we had a boat), camp store and water. If you are tent camping, there were some pretty sites at the top of the campground that looked much more secluded. Even though it was August, it was VERY cold at night. In fact, it hailed one day! Take warm clothes! Supposedly there is one weekend in July when they have a Mormon celebration and it's packed. Also-flush toilets & running water.
