It had a bed and some electricity, though hard to find. We weren't expecting much other than a barn experience, and that's what we got. The front step could be fixed/improved some, as it is a hazard for anyone with any knee problems. Water was unavailable (hose was broken and the water in fridge was frozen solid) when we were there, so we were glad we brought our own.

If you're interested in the San Rafael Swell, its amazing scenery and ancient petroglyphs, the Barncamp near Emery provides a great place to start! Our generous host was happy to share fresh lettuce with us. The beautiful chickens pecked around and were curious to meet us. Ambassador Bernie, a miniature Doberman, greeted us enthusiastically, and was very excited to have company. The site is flat and large and provided more than enough space for our 24' Class C Winnebago. We didn't use the king-sized bed or TV in the old barn, but the space looked comfortable. We used the clean porta-potty, wifi and electricity on site, and stopped at a public station around the corner the next morning to take on water, dump, and empty the trash.

It was a cute spot with a beautiful view to wake up to. Susan is also a fantastic host. We would definitely stay at this spot again.

Barn Camp Wilderness Experience
Susan is awesome! I got lost and she responded quickly! She actually drove to where I was and escorted me to the property. Cute cozy barn, and she made water, fridge and coffee maker available. The property is very quiet and peaceful.

We loved Marie Bell! Host was super kind even when our dog caused mayhem and knocked over a candle, allowed us to use her PO Box for my boyfriends ID, barn kept wind and rain out, and for cheap! Highly recommend! Bring a toilet on the off chance the port a pot needs a service!

Set is a very small rural town. I stayed in my campervan. Nicely shaded and level. I fell asleep to cows mooing in the pasture and a beautiful breeze.
Didn't need the firepit but it was available if I wanted it. Solar shower, drinking water and porta poti available also.

Was such a fun night spent with our kiddos in a beautiful little barn! We were passing through on our way from Colorado to the west coast and Susan’s barn was the best nights sleep we could have hoped for!

When we go camping, we really only expect a clean, flat place for a tent, a good firepit, and somewhere to use the restroom. This campsite had a clean porta-potty, but that's the best I can recommend. We stayed for 30 minutes. The campsite wasn't flat, was small and overgrown, and was very close to some backyards and houses. While we were waiting for the host, a neighbor's dog came over and pooped on the campsite. The firepit wasn't very big (a raised metal one) and had tall dry weeds all around it. Most frustratingly, there were piles of boards and construction debris, broken chairs, etc, along with big fire ant beds. We have small children, and didn't feel that they would be safe there. The host briefly apologized, but offered no recompense.

There was absolutely nothing on the listing that said tent-only site. I was under the impression I would have a safe, clean roof over my family’s head. Her barn was rented out on another website so she failed to mark the listing as unavailable. There was absolutely no sign or directions marking her house and in turn we were CUSSED AND SCREAMED at by her neighbor for pulling down his driveway. I had a sleeping one year old in the car! We were put into a completely unnecessary situation and didn’t even end up being accommodated. She offered a camper that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the 90s. If we would have been informed that the sight we requested was tent-only, we would have never even went there. We also were NOT refunded as Susan “did not approve it”. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Barn looked nice, wish we could have stayed in it.

This is exactly what I was looking for - It's a barn. Make sure you bring everything you need. I would say it would be for more experienced campers who are used to sleeping outside, although we did stay inside the barn - there is a cozy space with a table and a bed for two.
Lovely neighbors, who showed us a great tail to walk back into, through the Muddy River - we walked/hiked for a few hours out back. Tiny town and everyone was so helpful.
Chickens running around and an adorable cat we named "Smokey" who goes in and out of the barn. It was a real delight.

Staying in the backyard of Marie Bell farm was great. A beautiful place and Susan was a great host.

Rustic and a beautiful area. Susan is very welcoming. There’s a park with bathrooms next to the white bleachers. Her site is a work in progress. There are chickens and a friendly dog. She has an old timey inside out barn. Very homey feeling.

Marie Bell farm is tucked away in a small & quiet neighborhood and it’s easy to find. Staying at Marie Bell farm is going to be a cozy getaway for all. There is firewood on the front porch available for use in the wood burning stove in the living room of the house - super nice that you don’t have to bring your own firewood! There is not a fence in between the RV Spot and the neighbors' house, but the neighbors seem nice and were quiet. If you decide you want to go for a stroll through the neighborhood, walk back to the end of the street and there is an old cemetery that is neat to check out.
