Small 15 acre ranch in central Texas, 45 min north west of Austin. Tent camping, and Rv that self supporting. There a pond, when it rains, we have horses and chickens, small wooded area. About the Property Tucked away near Colorado Bend State Park, you will find our off-the-grid ranch. Small 15-acre ranch in central Texas, 45 min northwest of Austin you will find our humble oasis that is home to not only our family but too small chickens and horses. You will still have a fairly private site but don't be surprised if you hear animals and other campers. Relax on the patio or by the fire pit with the family while you stare up at the stars. Fish at one of the three rivers within a 5-mile radius. About the Listing Take your pick from our many grills to cook some great camping classics while you camp under the stars. You will have access to 2 restrooms and a shower so you can relax, recharge and enjoy this off-the-grid site. Some great activities we offer are yoga and art supplies for crafting. We provide art supplies upon request. A firepit is also available to snuggle up to during the cooler nights. We do offer WIFI but encourage our guests to connect with nature. Solar Eclipse Weekend

This was my first time venturing off to camp solo, so it was nice knowing there was a toilet (and shower!) available. I did not realize there were other rental sites on the property, but it turned out to be a terrific social opportunity for the eclipse. I loved the quiet and the brilliance of the night sky. Chanda is wonderfully kind and hospitable, and I felt myself to be in good hands.

Off the Grid Ranch,

Very comfortable camp site and private camp site by the horse barn. Clean shower and bathroom. Amazing hostess. We were there for the eclipse and it was a great group of people. Would definitely stay here again.

Off the Grid Ranch,

Chanda’s ranch was a great place to stay with several camping spots, cabins and glamping tents. Meals were available, bathrooms were clean, showers had endless hot water. The grounds sported quirky art, geese, a donkey and horse. Chanda herself, a gutsy disabled vet and art teacher, manages to keep the place in excellent order. We’ll definitely come again!
