Off the Grid Ranch was a great place to stay to get away from the city and enjoy nature for a night. The owners are very friendly and there are great places around the site to sit and soak up the trees and views of the acres of ranch land.

Chandra and her family were extremely nice and helpful. They gave us firewood when ours ran out and even brought over two bikes for our children to play with. They were the epitome of good hostesses.

That said, the description should say that the location is on a fairly busy road. The traffic did die down after dark but the road noise was still there all night long. Also, there were shower and restroom facilities advertised. The restroom was barely useable because the doors of the closet where the camping toilet was located couldn’t be shut. Also, there were no shower facilities available. I was told that was due to the propane being out of commission so just make sure it is up and running before you book (if you need a shower!).

The spot where we camped was right between the main house and another one. During the day light, it was a bit awkward but once the sun went down, you couldn’t see either place.
