Our stay at Emory's ranch was absolutely incredible. The campsite was private and secluded, and had a well built fire ring, picnic table, and composting toilet. The giant pecan trees provided perfect shade all throughout the hot Texas summer day. We had the opportunity to get a tour of the ranch and all the incredible ingenuitive systems Emory has created. It was truly a magical weekend completely secluded and away from everything; incredible views of starry night skies and refreshing swims in the crystal clear creek. We already can't wait until we get the opportunity to come back!

Brookside was a very good campsite for our group of 3. It had a great view of the entire property and sat nestled at the edge of the woods. The swimming hole was a short walk from the campsite and there were trails that followed the creek and the field. Fishing was actually decent and we managed to catch a lot of fish. I would reccomend this campsite!

We really enjoyed our stay! We would definitely go back. The dogs loved swimming in the river. It's a great spot and not far from Dallas.

We had a great time on the property. It was great to let the dogs run around and not worry about them disturbing other campers.

We had a great time camping at Brookside Camp! Emory met us when we arrived and showed us around, which was great! The camp is extremely secluded and felt like we were miles away from anyone else. The swimming hole is just a short walk from the the campsite making the summer Texas heat very comfortable. The hole was full of fish! It was also a perfect spot for our dog to run free and enjoy nature! I highly recommend this spot. We will definitely be back!

This is a premier piece of Texas! Nestled beautifully under arching Pecan & Oak trees. Emory was there waiting on us when we pulled up to the property! No calling or nothing, just there ready and promptly showed us to the campsite! Wonderful weekend out under the TX stars and ambiance from the cows & coyot's

We really enjoyed our stay at brookside camp. My wife and I went on a quick weekend getaway from Fort Worth and it was beautiful. Our dog swam and swam in the river and loved searching around the meadow for new smells and animals. The campsite was clean, easy to find, not a far drive from DFW, and Emory was available to answer our questions. I would recommend going and camping under the stars if possible. So beautiful. The water was pretty chilly, but super clear which was great! Theres a campfire ring, picnic table, and plenty of wood around for a perfect fire. Camp toilet on site (just don't forget to bring your t.p.) Everything was just as advertised and the little town of Bluff Dale was great to go explore in the hot part of the day if you want to get away. We found Bluff Dale vineyards, which I would recommend for a nice afternoon on the patio (also dog friendly!). Honestly nothing negative to say at all! Thank you for an amazing stay.
