Go unplugged at Tobyhanna Campground, where you can claim a spacious, wooded non-electric site on the shores of picturesque Tobyhanna Lake. Besides being a beautiful sightseeing destination with multiple recreational opportunities like swimming, fishing, hunting, hiking and biking, staying at Tobyhanna is a great way to escape those pesky hot summer nights. The area’s high elevation will keep you cool as a cucumber, making the lack of electric-powered A/C a total non-issue.

Great place to hike. Gouldsboro Park is very near and there are trails that link the two. I highly recommend the Frank Gantz trail if you like a more rigorous challenge. sturdy boots and an adventurous spirit a must! A real joy!!!
