Description
Dust off your explorer pants—you’re gonna need ‘em here! This itty bitty campground is remote, and you’ll know that you’re in the northwoods when you make the trip out here. The Boundary Waters are the main draw and backcountry canoeing is the activity of choice for many visitors. But, Fenske Lake is more than just a segway into canoe-land. There’s tons of birds and other wildlife, a quick 1-mile nature trail inside of the campground, and a pleasant, grassy beach. If you’d rather keep your explorer pants at home, we’re not here to judge! Kick back and relax in your partially or fully shaded campsite, and ponder the big questions of our Universe. Like “What’s an acceptable time of day to have my first beer?” (Answer: whenever the heck you want. Because this is your camping trip.)
