Welcome to North Fork Ranch, a peaceful mountain retreat where the ranch meets the forest. Nestled along the edge of the Los Padres National Forest, our RV sites offer a quiet escape surrounded by towering pines, abundant wildlife, and some of Southern California’s darkest night skies. Whether you’re passing through or planning a weekend adventure, you’ll enjoy spacious sites, fresh mountain air, incredible sunsets, and easy access to hiking, OHV trails, stargazing, and scenic drives. Wake to birdsong, relax by your campfire, and experience the slower pace of ranch life. Our ranch is just a scenic drive from Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, Bakersfield, and Ventura, yet it feels worlds away. Nearby attractions include Mt. Pinos, Lockwood Valley, Frazier Park, Pine Mountain Club, and the many trails and recreation areas throughout the forest. We’re continually growing the ranch experience with farm offerings, seasonal events, and outdoor recreation. Whether you’re seeking adventure or simply a peaceful place to unwind, we’re excited to welcome you to North Fork Ranch. Please note: This is a working ranch. You may see livestock, ranch equipment, and wildlife during your stay. Peaceful Farm Layover!

The RV camping at North Fork Ranch was lovely and peaceful. We needed a place to stay on the way back to Orange County from Yosemite and were happy to find it not too far off the I-5. Greg was very welcoming and gave us several choices on his property to park our RV. We chose a nice level spot under a shady tree with a great view of his soon to be vineyard. We spent a relaxing evening watching his sheep and donkeys hanging out together in their corral.

At the end of a long, beautiful road into the mountains of Frasier Park! Next-door, an abandoned Boy Scouts property with hiking trails! And a seasonal stream flowing through! You turn in and off the main entrance you see your 5 foot tall fence the completely surrounds a small, tiny yellow colored cottage. Inside the fence, a private space, completely private, little messy, but forgiven because of the level of comfort the fire pit and Cottage gave me 😬🔥 inside, a magical world of relaxation and comfort! Rustic, but with everything you need! And the most comfortable bed and pillow pillows ever! Even the blankets were cushy and snuggly! The set up makes relaxation easy. And the kitchen has everything you need! And they even have food you can order! Love that! Took bread, farm fresh eggs, and a dozen monster size chocolate chip cookies home with me! They were delicious! It’s a chill spot. I wouldn’t stay here more than two nights with a young family. As for me, I was on a solo getaway to disconnect, unwind and reconnect with myself in the moment. This place was absolutely perfect for it! Also, you can walk around the farm and there’s so much beauty to it. So much cool stuff they’ve added, and then there’s animals! And don’t forget the surrounding mountains and the beautiful sunset 🥰

Private and a great shower

I stayed in this cozy, self‑contained space for a few days of rest and writing. The privacy was excellent, and support was always just a moment away whenever I needed it. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. Although the fridge was small for a longer stay, that’s a minor issue—I’ll be better prepared next time. This getaway spot is truly worth it. From the front door, I walked to the trailhead and hiked a gentle 2.5‑mile ascent alongside a snowmelt creek. The effort was rewarded with an amazing view of the valley I’d just walked up. Will utilize again and try the food on offer next time.

Such a fun stay! The bunkhouse was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts are very kind and. A great spot as long as you don’t mind a faint background of poultry noises. Would definitely come back!

What a wonderful cozy cabin this is! I stayed here on the way down to south Cali and it was a great remote stopover not too far from the main highway. Beautiful stars at night, responsive thoughtful host, lots of amenities in the cabin, super cozy bed. 10/10 for me:)

Unique and beautiful experience

This place was just what we were looking for. A quiet getaway in a beautiful setting. There is a farm and our toddler loved seeing the goats, chickens and donkey. We were shown great hospitality from the host and made us feel at home. Great hikes right outside the door! We were even able to purchase some meat and eggs from the farm! A unique experience all around, would highly recommend!

Everything about our stay was absolutely lovely. The home itself is warm and inviting with everything I needed to cook there and enjoy a nice weekend away. It’s also surrounded by a private fence so it made us feel even more disconnected from the world, making our trip that much more relaxing. Definitely a place worth staying over and over again. The bed was super comfortable and there was almost no outside noise to disturb us but the best part had to be the stargazing. The view of the night time sky was breathtaking. This has been my favorite place to stay.
