Talk about luxe accommodations. If you snag one of the five cabins available at Lafayette Blue Springs, you’ll be sitting pretty from high on your stilted perch. For $100 a night, each of these move-in ready rentals has two bedrooms, three beds and a pullout couch, a bathroom with hot water, and kitchen/dining/living room with an electric fireplace. Linens and dishes are provided. A large screened-in porch with a picnic table and rocking chairs or swing will keep the bugs out as you relax and rock the day away. Rise to the sound of morning birds and drift off as the forest comes alive at night--no TV or WiFi here. Be prepared to tackle some stairs, though, but one of the cabins is ADA accessible with an elevator.
