Tents, trailers, and… hammocks welcome! So meta. Highlands Hammock Campground has the trifecta: hot showers, flushing toilets, and a sanitary dump station. When you’re ready to take a rest from playing in the trees, hit up the nearby picnicking area with an adjacent playground, or the “Hammock Inn” restaurant that serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with their signature “Wild Orange Pie.” You heard right. Pie.

Cool place to camp and beautiful scenery. I stayed one night in January 2015 and really enjoyed my stay but didn't like the proximity to the road nearby (traffic noise). Book a site furthest from the roads for best experience.

Highlands Hammock CampgroundNot much shade at the campground and you can hear traffic (not overwhelming) from the busy roads nearby.Highlands Hammock CampgroundThe middle of the park has an incredible canopy to explore...old time florida!
